The tweet itself showcased a handgun with the words "Gov. Jeb Bush" engraved on it.
Reaction online was swift. National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden had already taken one shot at Jeb Bush this week by comparing Kanye West's desperate tweets to Jeb Bush's now infamous "please clap" direction to a less than enthusiastic audience. This time, Snowden was quick to respond with a little bit of advice for Bush.

In what can only be described as a rough week for the former Florida governor, it started with the Bush team letting an unused domain name called JebBush.com expire. Once it expired, it was quickly scooped up by an anonymous prankster who made the URL redirect to - where else? - Donald Trump's website.
Meanwhile, Jeb's gun tweet has Twitter users clamoring to make the best joke at his expense.
There seems to be a brewing 'divide and conquer' meme going on with some in government taking either side in the gun debate, and fanning that divide out into the public domain. Just another way to keep people from focusing on the REAL problem: the psychopaths in power, like sir Jeb here.
Make no mistake though: were the second amendment gutted, that would be BAD. America's gun culture - for good or bad - has slowed down the tentacles of the vampire squid. Our guns scare those in power. And that is a good thing: there were 17 countries that confiscated guns from their citizens in the 20th century which resulted in over 60,000,000 deaths by the very governments that took away those guns.
Personally, I HATE guns. But I honor those who see their need and intend to use them against psychopathy, because if they didn't have them, the psychopaths would have free reign to do what they will.
