President of France Francois Hollande has gained the highest popularity rating over the last three years following the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, according to a poll released Tuesday.
The poll conducted by Ipsos research company at request of Le Point magazine revealed that the French have highly appreciated Hollande's activity, who strongly reacted to the Paris tragedy, having declared war to the Islamic State terrorist group.

At least 41 percent of respondents have positively assessed Hollande's work as a French president. At least 7 percent of respondents consider his actions to be "extremely" correct, while 34 percent "rather positively" appreciate his activity.
However, the majority of respondents (55 percent) still think about Hollande's actions in a negative way. However, just a month ago Hollande's approval rating was 17 points lower.
The survey was conducted on November 20-21, at least 954 people over 18 years old took part in the poll.
The Islamic State jihadist group has claimed responsibility for the November 13 coordinated mass shootings and suicide bombings near a football stadium, in a concert hall and outside several restaurants in Paris that left 130 dead and over 360 injured.
Hollande imposed a nationwide state of emergency following the attacks. The alleged ringleader of the Paris attacks, Belgium-based Abdelhamid Abaaoud, was killed in a police raid in Paris on Wednesday.
Comment: Isn't that the same old playbook tactic to raise one's popularity rating by inciting war rhetoric in the name of defending the country?
Now we have the President of France and his ratings have escalated to such an extent that he has achieved a high popularity rating for his handling of the situation. The mind boggles. How easily the public is fooled.
Does nobody ask, why France was involved in the Syrian conflict in the first place,
does nobody ask why the French President Kow Tow.to the demands of the US at the drop of a hat. Why the Mistral was suddenly cancelled. at the cost of millions if not billions of compensation to Russia.
For a president of any country to accept that they can achieve political credibility on the backs of innocents, not just in his own country but in another sovereign country to my mind is unconscionable.
I am reminded of the Chinese Mandate of Heaven,
The Mandate of Heaven (Chinese: 天命; pinyin: tiānmìng; literally: "heaven decree") is an ancient Chinese belief and philosophical idea that tiān (heaven or universe) granted emperors the right to rule based on their ability to govern well and fairly. According to this belief, heaven bestows its mandate to a just ruler, the Son of Heaven. The Mandate of Heaven determines whether an emperor of China is sufficiently virtuous to rule; if he does not fulfill his obligations as emperor, then he loses the Mandate and thus the right to be emperor. The Mandate of Heaven would then transfer to those who would rule best. The fact that a ruler was overthrown was taken by itself as an indication that the ruler had lost the Mandate of Heaven. In addition, it was also common belief that natural disasters such as famine and flood were other signs of heaven’s displeasure with the current ruler, so there would often be revolts following major environmental events as citizens saw these as signs of heaven's displeasure.[1]
I don't think that a man that speaks from both sides of his mouth qualifies for such mandate.
Am I angry, you bet I am I am angry, angry that the whole damn mess that these sycophants from hell are doing with the world and the humanity that resides on it and few will stand up for the people of the world that are sucked dry from the games of power, resource grab.
They are not leaders, they are nothing more than the hand held puppets some call them marionettes that dangle on a string.
