Swallowed up: A cement truck was pulled into the ground when a road collapsed in eastern China on Monday
Three people were also injured when the busy road opened up in Anhui province, eastern China, on Monday afternoon, reported the People's Daily Online.
The 1,000 square-feet sinkhole appeared in front of a department store in the city, which has closed temporarily.
Emergency services quickly arrived on the scene and assessed the extent of the damage.
The cause of the collapse is still under investigation.

Finally, like global warming and the supposed human carbon footprints which are being falsified by a global campaign of spraying coal waste in the atmosphere in the greatest crime in human history, which every leader on the planet has to be aware of, the next big lie is that subduction zones exist, because there are none. No one has ever found a subduction zone. Again it's falsified science passed off as authenticated information. There is no proof subduction anywhere on the planet that is known. There are however, growing tears and rips, and which pretty much invalidated the outdated idea of tectonic plates.
The entire theory of tectonic plates is itself only about 50 years old. When I was a kid that was the big discussion theme, so there's no reason what so ever to assume this idea of tectonic plates is anywhere near correct either.
Sinkholes are not something which humans have known in living memory or recorded memory either. These are some reflection of energies which are acting upon the Earth and the general solar system. Undoubtedly the powers that be have some idea what's happening but of course don't care if we live or die, just so long as they themselves can stay in control of all real information.
