Apple cider vinegar is more than just a dipping sauce or a salad dressing. It is a versatile product that has been proven to have healing benefits, it started with Hippocrates and it is still being used now to treat various ailments.

Based on historical records, vinegar was discovered around 5,000 BC by the Babylonians by accident. The French calls it vin aigre which means sour wine. This accidental discovery turned out to be great because it was an extremely versatile product even during the ancient times.

Even back then Hippocrates discovered that it had a lot of healing properties and used it when treating wounds. Chinese also used vinegar as to treat ailments as early as 1,200 B.C.

One of the most popular types of vinegar, the apple cider (or ACV) is touted by a lot of natural health advocates as having a lot of health benefits some of which include weight loss, diabetes control and improving cardiovascular health.

If you look around the web, you'll see that there are a lot of benefits, some are backed by scientific research while some aren't. My goal here is to enumerate all of these benefits I find here and link to the sources.

Let's dig in to those benefits one by one.

First I've divided it into two sections, those back with scientific research and those without.

In a report issued by a U.S. government-funded research group tasked with studying drug abuse and addiction, researchers are admitting that marijuana is useful in killing off specific types of brain tumors.

The report — coming from a government-backed group with annual budget of over $1 billion — arrives at an awkward time for the administration following an announcement by the Department of Justice this week that it will continue to prosecute medical marijuana cases against individuals in defiance of Congress.

According to the Daily Caller, the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) issued a revised report for the month of April, stating, "recent animal studies have shown that marijuana can kill certain cancer cells and reduce the size of others. Evidence from one animal study suggests that extracts from whole-plant marijuana can shrink one of the most serious types of brain tumors. Research in mice showed that these extracts, when used with radiation, increased the cancer-killing effects of the radiation."

Given the restrictions and the level of control placed upon the disclosure of information when it comes to "credible" medical studies, it seems surprising that glyphosate, the most commonly used herbicide on the planet, has been officially deemed a dangerous health hazard to human beings by the mainstream health community.

"Glyphosate currently has the highest global production volume of all herbicides. The largest use worldwide is in agriculture. The agricultural use of glyphosate has increased sharply since the development of crops that have been genetically modified to make them resistant to glyphosate. Glyphosate is also used in forestry, urban, and home applications. Glyphosate has been detected in the air during spraying, in water, and in food. The general population is exposed primarily through residence near sprayed areas, home use, and diet and the level that has been observed is generally low." (source)

This is an update on the cell tower situation in Los Angeles, California, that I wrote about earlier (here and here), as a follow up on the hearing.

Well, even more news is breaking regarding those 'mushroom-like-cropping-up' cell towers. Activists in LA report to me that:

the US Federal government suspended funding of the Los Angeles arm of the deadly federal surveillance tower roll out!! According to Fierce Wireless Magazine, we gave First Net a "black eye" which they may or may not recover from. ^[1]

After America has witnessed at least two cases of forced chemotherapy on children - the true, damaging nature of chemotherapy bubbles to the surface.

A 17-year-old was strapped down and forcefully injected chemo toxins against her express wishes after it went before a judge. Likewise, an Ohio children's hospital caught dosing a 10-year-old Amish girl with experimental chemotherapy drugs got a judge to uphold an order to keep up the "life-saving" procedure. The family left the country for her recovery with alternative methods.

The unfortunate truth is that judges setting these violating precedents could be sentencing children to debilitating health problems later on or a shortened life. According to Northwestern University, the number of U.S. childhood cancer survivors has increased but most of the survivors past the five-year mark face chronic health problems related to treatment.

Tulsi, which means "the incomparable one" in Hindi and is often referred to as holy basil, is a potent herb that has been used for over 5000 years in India to treat colds, coughs, and the flu. According to Ayurvedic medicine, regular consumption of the tulsi herb can also promote a sense of purity and lightness in the body, and is said to cleanse the respiratory tract of toxins and relieve bloating and digestive gas. This plant is so sacred that often Hindu prayer beads are even made from the wood of the tulsi plant!

Basil can be found on every continent, but holy basil is indigenous to the subcontinent of India. It grows as a bushy shrub that can reach 18 inches in height, its leaves are oval shaped and have serrated edges, and its colors are either light green or dark purple depending on where it is growing.

The first man set to undergo a head transplant has been revealed, saying that he finds the controversial surgery "very scary, but also very interesting".

Valery Spiridinov is set to be the first person to undergo the operation. It will be carried out by controversial Italian doctor Sergio Canavero, whose optimistic plans have mostly been met with scepticism.

But Spiridonov — who has the rare genetic Werdnig-Hoffman disease, which gradually wastes away muscles — says that he is willing to undergo the risky procedure to give himself a chance at living in a healthy body.

"Am I afraid? Yes, of course I am. But it is not just very scary, but also very interesting," Spiridonov, speaking from his house in the Russian town of Vladimir about 120 miles from Moscow, told MailOnline.

"But you have to understand that I don't really have many choices," he said. "If I don't try this chance my fate will be very sad. With every year my state is getting worse."

Spiridinov said that he has spoken with Dr Canavaro over Skype but they are yet to meet. The Russian man was chosen from a number of people that emailed and wrote to Canavaro to ask to undergo the procedure, he said.

Canavaro raised scepticism earlier this year when he said that he would be able to carry out the procedure within two years. Other medical experts called the procedure unlikely, and rare, as well as highlighting the fact that it would never be used for those that simply want to replace an ailing body. Some have even compared Canavaro to Frankenstein.

"I would not wish this on anyone," said Dr Hunt Batjer, president elect of the American Association for Neurological Surgeons.

"I would not allow anyone to do it to me as there are a lot of things worse than death."

The long anticipated cultural war over vaccines initiated by governments on behalf of the pharmaceutical industrial complex is steadily increasing in intensity. Contrary to innate human rights, mandatory initiatives to vaccinate the entire population have spawned well over one hundred bills across 36 states. How any sane person can still believe that the vaccination movement is one of benevolence or anything to do with advancing health is beyond logic. Since the false pandemic in 2009, the pharmaceutical industry has paid more than 2.5 billion to doctors and industry shills who have used their position of trust to push deadly drugs and the false science of vaccines to billions.

In the early 1970s, a group of medical researchers decided to study an unusual question. How would a medical audience respond to a lecture that was completely devoid of content, yet delivered with authority by a convincing phony?

To find out, the authors hired a distinguished-looking actor and gave him the name Dr. Myron L. Fox. They fabricated an impressive CV for Dr. Fox and billed him as an expert in mathematics and human behavior. Finally, they provided him with a fake lecture composed largely of impressive-sounding gibberish, and had him deliver the lecture wearing a white coat to three medical audiences under the title "Mathematical Game Theory as Applied to Physician Education." At the end of the lecture, the audience members filled out a questionnaire.

The responses were overwhelmingly positive. The audience members described Dr. Fox as "extremely articulate" and "captivating." One said he delivered "a very dramatic presentation." After one lecture, 90 percent of the audience members said they had found the lecture by Dr. Fox "stimulating." Over all, almost every member of every audience loved Dr. Fox's lecture, despite the fact that, as the authors write, it was delivered by an actor "programmed to teach charismatically and nonsubstantively on a topic about which he knew nothing."

Examples of sophisticated disinformation are more difficult to identify because they are more effectively disguised, but they have been exposed more than once in the post cold war era.

Today, well-funded, highly-organized disinformation and misinformation operations are using similar tactics throughout government, academia and all facets of media. The only difference is that many of the players are credentialed propagandists, not actors, although many of them should win academy awards for the amount of myths they are attempting to pass off as facts.

The pastry you're thinking about buying may contain the preservative propyl paraben, linked to disruptions in hormone signaling.

According to ingredient data obtained by EWG's Food Scores: Rate Your Plate, an online database and app that helps consumers eat healthier, propyl paraben is in 49 widely-available processed foods, including Sara Lee cinnamon rolls, Weight Watchers cakes and La Banderita Corn Tortillas.

Last year, EWG turned the spotlight on propyl paraben in its Dirty Dozen Guide To Food Additives because the federal Food and Drug Administration has listed its use in food as "Generally Recognized As Safe." Despite mounting evidence that propyl paraben disrupts the endocrine system, the FDA has failed to take action to eliminate its use in food or reassess its safety.
