What happens when you don't brush your teeth properly?

toothbrushing
Brushing your teeth twice a day is an indispensable health habit that affects more than just your teeth. The state of your oral health most definitely plays a role in optimizing your overall health and well-being. Regardless of your age or the number of years you've been using a toothbrush, it's a good idea to make sure you are addressing the important aspects of dental hygiene.

Bad breath, plaque, yellow teeth, tooth decay and other health problems are easily avoidable when you adopt an effective oral-care routine. I hope you will take a few minutes to learn what happens when you don't brush your teeth, or don't brush them properly.

What Can You Do About Bad Breath?

If you've ever overlooked brushing your teeth before leaving the house for the day, you have probably already experienced the most common side effect of ignoring your oral health: bad breath, also known as halitosis. Without brushing, food odors will linger in your mouth, causing foul odors to emit as you breathe and speak. Some food odors may be mildly tolerable, like coffee, while others are downright obnoxious, like garlic or fish.

To prevent bad breath, not only is it important to brush your teeth twice a day, but also your tongue. Since it is actively involved in the chewing and swallowing process, food particles and odors can easily remain on your tongue after you brush your teeth. You can brush your tongue using either your regular toothbrush or an instrument designed specifically for tongue brushing. If you are prone to foul breath and have not seen improvement through changes in your oral hygiene routine, you also may want to address:

Irish Philanthropist Jonathan Irwin - vows to stand up for Gardasil-injured Girls

gardasil injured girls
“I cannot believe in this tiny country (Ireland) there are 400, maybe 500 families so badly affected, their daughter completely wiped out, and the reaction of the Health Service and particularly the Minister and a lot of other politicians and professors and doctors, all saying that they’re absolutely disgraceful.” — Jonathan Irwin
Jonathan Irwin is a former stud owner and racetrack executive who, in his mature years, devoted his life to a foundation he set up with his wife Mary Ann called the Jack and Jill Foundation. He set up the foundation in 1997 to provide in-home nursing care for severely disabled children, or babies born with life-threatening, debilitating conditions, whose parents would otherwise be unable to afford such services. The Irwins set up the foundation in response to a tragedy which befell their own family in 1996, which would change the course of their lives.

Jonathan Irwin's son Jack was born healthy, but for an unknown reason, he developed severe brain damage due to complications which occurred two days after his birth. According to Jack and Jill's website, "While history does not reveal the immediate aftermath of this drama, it is probable that he died and was resuscitated. Certainly from that moment on, Jack could not swallow and was probably blind and deaf." The doctor treating Jack advised the Irwins to leave him at the hospital so that he would not be a burden on his family and moreover, this would be the only way the state would be forced to provide care for him.

Comment: Gardasil: Medical torture and child abuse by Big Pharma
There is something deeply wrong with a giant pharmaceutical company spending hundreds of millions of dollars to manipulate women and influence legislation in order to generate a revenue stream of billions of dollars a year for itself at the expense of a gullible public. Because what is wrong with Gardasil isn't just that it is unnecessary. Gardasil is possibly the most dangerous vaccine on the market, with the potential to injure, maim, or even kill the children who receive it. The program of coercion to vaccinate every 11- to 26-year-old girl with Gardasil is relentless. This vaccine is given not just in doctor's offices, where doctors have been known to "fire" noncompliant patients, but in schools and colleges, where the pressure on girls and their parents to conform can be extreme. These institutions all have quotas - sometimes including financial rewards - and they are anxious to prove high rates of compliance.8 But there is no informed consent prior to vaccination, so most of these girls and their parents have no idea what they are risking by agreeing to vaccination with Gardasil. While Merck, the FDA, the CDC and the medical establishment all deny that there have been serious, life-altering adverse events associated with Gardasil, the fact is that compared with the mandated vaccines which are given with greater frequency, Gardasil still has the most adverse events reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) of any vaccine. And since reporting of adverse events is not mandatory in the US (although outbreaks of so-called vaccine-preventable illness are), it is likely that only 10% even get reported!9

Big Pharma's development of a 'clinically viable heroin vaccine' - paid for by U.S. taxpayers

heroin vaccine
Many of us just pay our taxes on a yearly basis and have absolutely no idea where they're going. Are they funding new medical research? War? The elite's agenda? The reality is that your taxpayers' dollars support all of these things and more, despite the fact that you may not knowingly support them yourself.

A recent study published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society titled "Development of a Clinically Viable Heroin Vaccine" has been making recent headlines, hinting at fewer heroin users in the United States. The irony here is that taxpayer dollars are being spent to develop a vaccine against drug users supporting the very drug trade the U.S. government and the medical industry have so heavily invested in maintaining.

Personal debt takes its toll on mental health

debt stress
Is our relationship with money bad for us? Recent figures suggest that the average household now owes about £13,000 - not including mortgages. Low interest rates mean that credit is relatively cheap and freely available and, as a result, borrowing has become the way many of us are able to afford the expensive things in life.

That's where greater knowledge of finances is required - both in terms of people knowing what they're letting themselves in for in the first place and also with an understanding what help they have available to get themselves out of trouble, with options such as debt management plans also known as DMP.

Impact of debt

Much has been said about the potential economic impact of debt. Indeed, the Bank of England recently expressed its alarm over an apparent consumer spending binge. There's a fear that if we overstretch ourselves then we'll be in a bad position to withstand an economic storm if one were to arrive.

But the impact of debt is felt far beyond the figures on a spreadsheet. Carrying more and more debt brings as much of an emotional burden as it does a financial one, and that is taking its toll on a large number of people across the UK.

Comment: High personal debt also negatively impacts physical health:
Among the people reporting high debt stress in the new (2008) poll:

27 percent had ulcers or digestive tract problems, compared with 8 percent of those with low levels of debt stress.

44 percent had migraines or other headaches, compared with 15 percent.

29 percent suffered severe anxiety, compared with 4 percent.

23 percent had severe depression, compared with 4 percent.

6 percent reported heart attacks, double the rate for those with low debt stress.

More than half, 51 percent, had muscle tension, including pain in the lower back. That compared with 31 percent of those with low levels of debt stress.

Hold your horses! Virologist resurrects horsepox virus in hopes of developing a new smallpox vaccine

horsepox smallpox
Beware the horsepox virus, resurrected from the dead. Symptoms may include a desire to neigh, snort, and gallop with the herd. But seriously...

This latest lab-created horsepox virus is said to be the cousin of the smallpox virus, which health authorities claim was formally eradicated from the planet in 1980. Why eradicate one "deadly" virus only to revive its cousin? What is the purpose in that?

Molecular virologist, David Evans, at the University of Alberta, Canada, told the Washington Post that his efforts to create a new virus are aimed at developing cancer treatments and vaccines, especially since the current smallpox vaccine has some serious adverse side effects, including death.

A Short History of Smallpox

The introduction of smallpox vaccine shaped human history by killing countless thousands of people when it was introduced by Dr. Edward Jenner in the late 18th century (1796). Jenner's idea was born after he noticed milkmaids exposed to cowpox appeared to be immune to smallpox. He tested his hypothesis by inoculating a boy with cowpox pus and subsequently challenging him with smallpox. Jenner wrote a paper describing his theory and identified 13 other individuals who had contracted either horsepox or cowpox before being exposed to smallpox.

Seeing the light: Could it be we have been wrong about what causes melanoma?

sun light
For decades, public-health officials have been warning that exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun increases your risk of developing melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer.

But something doesn't quite add up with this generalized warning, because an epidemic of melanoma has broken out among indoor workers. In fact, indoor workers get three to nine times LESS solar UV exposure than outdoor workers get, yet only indoor workers have increasing rates of melanoma - and the rates have been increasing since before 1940.

So what's really going on here with melanoma causes?

Question

Why are Americans so sick?

chronic illness
In the early 1900s, infectious diseases were the leading cause of death in the United States. Tuberculosis, pneumonia and diarrheal disease caused 30 percent of the deaths. However, by the end of the twentieth century, death from chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer and stroke replaced deaths from infectious diseases.1

The U.S. has also been experiencing an epidemic of autoimmune diseases.2 The prevalence of various autoimmune diseases that involve brain and immune system dysfunction, such as celiac disease, lupus, multiple sclerosis (MS), and type 1 diabetes, is so common that it has been normalized.

Comment: Sick care in America - a snap shot
A hundred years from now, we will look back at our medical system and recognize how barbaric and primitive it is. Modern medical schools and research have all been funded by pharmaceutical companies, which have engineered a standard medical philosophy and eviscerated any opposing views. Medical science is narrow and limited, with a dim understanding of the complexities of the human body/mind.

They have chosen to ignore the effects of consciousness, or even just psychology, on a person's health, with the result being that most causes of illness are completely inexplicable to them. Because natural food and medicine cannot be patented, they do not play a role in medicine, regardless of how valuable they might be to healing. The only tools available are dangerous synthetic chemicals which have massive deleterious effects on the body that are poorly understood. Modern medicine is based on treating disease, not on supporting health.

Degeneration nation: Connecting the dots between factory farms, Roundup, GMOs, and fake 'natural' foods

think act plan
You can help to prompt significant change in the agricultural industry by boycotting CAFO and GE products and instead purchasing food grown only by local farmers who are using natural methods and soil-regenerative techniques, such as no-till, cover crops, composting and livestock integration. Look for farmers markets, food co-ops and direct-from-the-farm sales in your area — these sustainable alternatives are growing rapidly across the U.S. and will offer you fresher, healthier food and the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to drive permanent positive changes in food production. - Factory Farms Consuming the U.S., Mercola.com, June 20, 2017
After years of single-issue campaigning against America's degenerate food and farming system, with real but limited success, it's time for a change of strategy and tactics. By connecting the dots between a range of heretofore separate issues and campaigns, by focusing on some of the major weaknesses or vulnerabilities of the system, we can speed up our transition to an organic and regenerative food and farming system before our health, environmental and climate crises turn into full-blown catastrophe.

Why you should avoid synthetic dyes & food coloring

food dye
Food dye in some form or another has been in use since the ancient Egyptians to make food look more appetizing. The first synthetic food color was obtained from bituminous coal and introduced in 1856. Today's food coloring may be more sophisticated, but big food companies like Kraft, General Mills, Campbell's Soup Taco Bell, and Chipotle are among the businesses announcing that they will be removing synthetic food dyes from many if not all of their offerings. It's a move in keeping with the increasing demand for less processed, healthier food options while eating out or at the grocery store.

We've been eating them forever, and we're fine...right? Not so much.

Kelly Brogan: Red meat for your depression

red meat
"It's been a little over 3 weeks since we last met, and I wanted to send you an update.

I started eating red meat daily to address the reactive hypoglycemia. I am feeling so much better! I am a lot less hungry, can fall asleep more easily and stay asleep! (I can't believe this works.)"
This was an message from one of my patients who reluctantly incorporated more red meat into her diet with near immediate results in symptoms that we would never imagine could be helped by such an intervention.

For years, I have observed that conscious inclusion of red meat into the therapeutic diets of my patients - women coming to me for labels of depression, chronic fatigue, Fibromyalgia, ADHD, autoimmunity, and chemical sensitivity - is an essential part of the alchemy of healing. This observation has been extended now to the hundreds who have participated in our online healing program Vital Mind Reset. It simply works.
