Diluting the master race? Israeli MPs condemn celebrity mixed marriage as effort to 'hurt our state'

On Wednesday, the Israeli-Arab-Muslim TV host Lucy Aharish (the first to host a Hebrew-speaking show) and Israeli-Jewish actor Tzahi Halevy (known from Netflix TV series Fauda), got married.

Their ceremony was what could only be considered unofficial in Israel, at the beach in Hadera. This is because Israeli law does not permit interfaith marriage. The option left to such couples is to conduct an unofficial ceremony in Israel, but do the actual official marriage in another country, where this then gets retroactively recognized by the state. Aharish and Halevy have held the relationship under the radar for some three years, to avoid the backlash - which surely came. Various politicians from the right condemned and bemoaned the marriage. Minister of Interior Arye Deri said:
"pain of assimilation worldwide is consuming the Jewish people. It's their own private affair. But, as a Jew, I have to tell you that I'm against such things because we must preserve the Jewish people. (Their) children will grow up, go to school and later want to get married, and then they'll face difficult problems. If she [Aharish] desires Judaism, then there's the process of conversion".
Likud Lawmaker Oren Hazan was more vitriolic on Facebook and Twitter:
"I don't blame Lucy Aharish for seducing the soul of a Jewish man in order to hurt our state and prevent more Jewish offspring from continuing the Jewish lineage. On the contrary, she's welcomed to convert to Judaism. I do blame Tsahi the IslamLevi, who took (TV show) Fauda one step too far. Bro, snap out of it. Lucy, it's not personal, but know that Tsahi is my brother and the people of Israel are my people. No more assimilation."

Comment: Those pesky Arab Muslim women, seducing poor Jewish men in an evil plot to hurt Israel and its racial purity. For all the Western furor over practically non-existent white nationalism and supremacy, you'd think there would be a tad more said about the very prominent Jewish nationalism and supremacy in Israel...

Gaming community creates NPC meme to troll SJWs

npc offended meme
If you've ever picked up a video game that features other characters that are controlled by the computer, then you've run into non-player characters or NPC's.

NPC's serve a host of different functions depending on what the program you're playing with needs them for. They're the villagers in Skyrim, Toad from Super Mario Brothers, and the ghosts in Pac-Man. NPC's may have dialogue, patterns, and personality, but at the end of the day, they're just a program with pre-set behavioral patterns decided for them by a developer.

Now let's pretend we're taking this article from the top...

Bulldozers, injuries & arrests: Israeli forces prepare to demolish village of Khan al Ahmar

Four people have been arrested for attempting to stop bulldozers entering the village of Khan al Ahmar in the West Bank. A number of people were injured by Israeli security forces.

Two Israelis and two Palestinians were arrested for obstructing the bulldozer in the midst of high tension over the pending demolition of the village, the Times of Israel reports. Video footage shows security forces attempting to move protesters from the oncoming bulldozers and police forming a blockade to prevent people from entering the area.

The people of Khan al Ahmar have been anticipating the destruction of their homes for years, as the Israeli state eyes a settlement expansion. It has refused to connect the village to the electricity grid, water supply or roads, and the demolition of structures is a regular occurance.

Activists from Palestine and Israel have been camping out in the village in anticipation of the razing, ever since the High Court ruled in favor of demolition in September. The plan to destroy the village has been met with criticism from the UN, EU officials and human rights groups.

Israel approves construction of 31 settler homes on illegally seized land belonging to Palestinian municipality of Hebron

Israel's government Sunday approved the construction of 31 settler homes in Hebron, the first such green light for the flashpoint West Bank city since 2002, a cabinet minister said.

Construction permits were agreed in October last year but needed the government's approval, according to the Peace Now NGO which monitors settlement construction in occupied territory.

"For the first time in more than 20 years, Hebron will have a new Jewish neighbourhood where a military camp once stood," Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman said after the weekly cabinet meeting.

He said in a statement that the project will comprise 31 settler homes and two kindergartens.

"It is an important step in the global activity which we are carrying out to reinforce settlements in Judea and Samaria," added Lieberman referring to the occupied West Bank.

Hebron is holy to both Muslims and Jews, with Old Testament figures including Abraham believed to be buried there.

The city is a flashpoint reflecting the deep tensions that run between Palestinians and Israelis.

Institutional pathology: BBC set to battle 'heteronormative' culture with more gay characters, non-binary pronouns

london pride
© Dinendra Haria/Global Look Press
The BBC will introduce more LGBT characters in its programming and encourage staff to use "non-binary" pronouns, in an effort to combat "heteronormative" culture which has "baffled" many (gay and straight) on social media.

It's all part of a new set of "diversity" reforms at the public broadcaster. The new portrayals of LGBT characters will be "incidental" - which means that their sexuality will not be the focus of the storyline or news item.

But it's not just an on-screen effort. Off-air, LGBT staff will be encouraged to "bring their whole self to work" and be open about their sexuality with their co-workers - something which sounded a bit "creepy" and weird to some who reacted to the news on Twitter. Others found it contradictory that sexuality would be "incidental" on-air, but something to be discussed at work off-air.

Comment: Hate fact alert: all human cultures are heteronormative because heterosexuality is the norm. This is pure pathological political activism and has nothing to do with "inclusivity". If anything, such policies only set back the goal of persuading people to accept LGBTs. Western culture is already remarkably diverse and inclusive, and it got that way without such totalitarian policies. Maybe we were already doing things fairly well before the loonies hijacked all our public and private institutions? Don't try to fix something that may not be broken - chances are you'll only make things worse.

Portland's 'missing in action' mayor limply criticizes Antifa thugs for running roughshod through the city

Mayor Ted Wheeler said Friday he found it "appalling" how protesters treated a motorist driving in downtown during a protest Saturday.

But he also defended Portland Police crowd control techniques, saying policing is more challenging than onlookers may think and requires balancing the safety and rights of protesters, police officers and bystanders.

Demonstrators took to downtown streets that day over the death of Patrick Kimmons, whom Portland police officers shot and killed early in the morning of Sept. 30. It is still unclear why officers fired upon Kimmons, whom they came upon armed in a part of downtown where two men had been injured by gunfire.

As demonstrators directed traffic and blocked streets during their protest, a man driving a silver Lexus slowly drove through a small crowd. Some protesters pounded on the man's car. The man told The Oregonian/OregonLive he did not intentionally drive into the crowd but rather was surrounded by protesters as he sought to head east of downtown.

Comment: The Daily Wire adds:
Portland's Mayor Ted Wheeler defended a decision to have police stand down during an "anti-Fascist" protest in Portland weeks ago, allowing black-clad Antifa members to run roughshod through the city, directing traffic, chasing motorists, and causing chaos.

Wheeler, who has been criticized in the past for refusing to curb Antifa's antics, pinned blame for the mayhem on Portland's Police Bureau in a statement on Twitter, and claimed that the incident "will be investigated."

Wheeler added that "motorists should feel completely safe coming into downtown Portland."
[..]

Antifa took to the streets last weekend to protest the shooting death of Patrick Kimmons, who was killed in a police involved shooting in early October. Independent journalist Andy Ngo documented the protests, including an incident where Antifa demonstrators forced their way into a busy intersection and proceeded to direct traffic. Protesters even chased down one elderly motorist who refused to stop when instructed, leaving him shaken.

Antifa later "doxxed" the elderly driver and compared him to a neo-Nazi activist in Charlottesville, who drove into a crowd of protesters last year, killing Heather Heyer and injuring several others. The driver has since filed a police report.

Wheeler, who later called the incident "inappropriate," was missing in action during the protest.
So citizens should feel safe entering the city knowing the police aren't going to challenge Antifa mobs...some logic!

Ramaphosa promises to accelerate return of lands to black South Africans

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has promised to speed up the controversial land reform proposed by the ruling African National Congress (ANC) earlier this year.

"We are making history and celebrating the return of your land today. We are righting the historic injustice and returning the land to its rightful owners," the president said at the handover of 4'586 hectares of land to the community of KwaMkhwanazi at Empangeni in northeastern KwaZulu-Natal.

Ramaphosa admitted that his government has been too slow in the process of restitution and redistribution of farmlands, stressing that land is a key pillar for economic emancipation and freedom.

Of course the Liberal Mob is real - and the Democrats are nurturing it

Antifa liberal mob
© CNNAntifa in Charlottsville
There are few things that get liberals riled up like exposing them for exactly who and what they are. They hate it, almost as much as they hate people who don't fall in lockstep with their every demand. So when President Trump started talking about the "mob" liberals have become, "journalists" leapt to their defense, naturally. But there is no defense from the truth; no matter how earnestly a CNN or MSNBC personality insists the Sun rises in the west, that doesn't make it so. The Democratic Party is the party of the mob.

It wasn't that long ago that the fringe of the political left was just that - a fringe. They'd used mommy and daddy's credit card or their trust fund money to congregate at a G7 summit or meeting of the International Monetary Fund, then go back to whatever college town they refused to grow up in. Now there is no afghan of the party left, it's all fringe.

Leaving the car at home: Free bus service is revolutionizing transport in Dunkirk

Dunkirk is a month into a project that makes it the biggest European city to offer free public transport. So what do people think?

free bus service Dunkirk
© Francois Lo Presti/AFP/Getty ImagesThe free bus service in Dunkirk was initially offered on weekends and national holidays but was extended a month ago to operate every day.
One month after the French channel port of Dunkirk introduced free public transport for all, a small revolution is taking place.

Two women, perfect strangers until now, are chatting across the aisle about nothing in particular. One admits she sometimes takes the bus "just for the fun of it". A young man wearing headphones is charging his mobile in a socket just above the "request stop" button.

On another bus, Claude Pointart, 65, who is retired, says free buses mean her pension goes further. "I'm saving money and they come every 10 minutes so I don't have to wait long. But there's a lot more people taking the bus so you have to avoid the rush hour if you want to sit. Still, I think it's a good thing."

On a city bus making its way around the historic port city, passengers smile at the driver and say "Bonjour" as they board. Some of the city's fleet of new buses, painted in dazzling colours - pink, orange, green, yellow and blue, with upholstery to match - have wifi. The urban authorities have plans for debates, music and possibly the occasional celebrity on board. A "Sport-Bus" with an interactive game, quiz screen and a selfie camera is already in operation.

Georges Contamin, 51, says he has reconsidered how he travels about the city since the buses became fare-free. "Before, I almost never took the bus, but the fact they are now free as well as the increase in the cost of car fuel has made me reflect on how I get about," Contamin says.

Danes want to put an end to Submarine Killer's behind bars sex romps

At least four different women have already been to Storstrøm Prison and visited Peter Madsen, the Danish tabloid daily BT reported. To top it off, a female prison worker recently resigned over initiating a relationship with the notorious "submarine killer," who is serving a life sentence.

Danish politicians want to stop Peter Madsen's amorous exploits in prison following reports of women flocking to see the inventor who was convicted of brutally murdering a Swedish journalist, BT reported.

The Danish People's Party (DF) and the Social Democrats have called on the government and Justice Minister Søren Pape Poulsen to put a limit to the brutal killer's avid sex life. Peter Madsen is also reportedly on the lookout for new pen pals on Facebook.

"Our prisons should not become a wedding central for psychopaths," DF MP Peter Kofod Poulsen told BT. According to him, cold-blooded killers should not be granted opportunities to enjoy a sex life behind bars.
