Boeing abandons DEI division, reverts back to merit-based system

Boeing
Will this be the straw that breaks the DEI camel's back?

Bloomberg reports that Boeing just became the latest big corporate entity to abandon the DEI debacle amid growing pressures to perform and be woke.

Anti-DEI activist Robby Starbuck, who claims credit for convincing Toyota and Harley-Davidson to scale back DEI, said he had reached out to Ortberg and board chair Steve Mollenkopf by e-mail earlier this month to alert them he was considering an online campaign against their diversity programs.

Bloomberg reports that the planemaker has dismantled its global diversity, equity and inclusion department, making it the latest high-profile corporation to make changes to its DEI policy as its new top leader oversees a broader revamp of the company's workforce.

ABC station "accidentally" aired election results showing a Harris win in Pennsylvania

2024 US election Harris Trump
ABC affiliate WNEP "accidentally" shows Harris winning Pennsylvania during Formula 1 broadcast.
Huh. Well look at that.

ABC affiliate WNEP says the whole thing was just a big mistake.
Test results for the upcoming November 5 general election mistakenly appeared on WNEP-TV early Sunday evening during a broadcast of the Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix.

Those numbers should not have appeared on the screen, and it was an error by WNEP that they did.

The numbers seen on the screen were randomly generated test results sent out to help news organizations make sure their equipment is working properly in advance of election night.

The numbers were not reflective of any actual vote count.

"It did occur" - Kentucky county clerk confirms voting booth 'glitch' shifted Trump votes to Kamala

Earlier in the day, a video went viral of voters in Kentucky having 'issues' with an electronic voting machine that selected "Kamala Harris" when the voter had pressed on "Donald Trump"...

Admittedly, we have seen a few of these style of clips over the past few weeks and viewed it with the same level of skepticism we usually do. However, this time is different because the local County Clerk just issued a statement on Facebook confirming the issue "did occur"... but not before he had denied it occurred.

Comment: This voting finger points to human error...and do-overs.

Police crack down on street takeovers with high-tech surveillance as 4th Amendment battles loom

As police across California crack down on illegal street racing, takeovers, and sideshows, technology companies are marketing new surveillance tools to meet the demand — prompting questions about the implications for privacy rights and Fourth Amendment protections.

In the Bay Area and Los Angeles, where incidents have become increasingly brazen and violent in recent years, often drawing hundreds of attendees and overwhelming police, agencies already rely on planes, drones, and automatic license plate reader (ALPR) cameras as they aim to reduce the risk to first responders.

And they've begun to see results.

On Oct. 25 in the Bay Area, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported the seizure of 16 vehicles that had been involved in two separate takeovers a month prior. Officers couldn't reach the center of the sideshow before it moved to another location, but they collected video evidence from cameras placed around the Bay Bridge. That led investigators to a list of vehicles, allowing them to request seizures orders from a judge.

The Pfizer Papers: Pfizer's crimes against humanity. Dr. Naomi Wolf

The Pfizer Papers
© Naomi Wolf
Our book, The Pfizer Papers: Pfizer's Crimes Against Humanity, was published October 15 and became an immediate bestseller. This is a book that three governments — the US, the UK and Australia — all sought to suppress. The story of how it came to be is extraordinary — 3,250 highly credentialed doctors and scientists under the leadership of one extraordinary woman, Amy Kelly, worked for two years on the 450,000 internal Pfizer documents released under court order by a successful lawsuit by attorney Aaron Siri. In the process these volunteers confirmed the greatest crime against humanity of all time. Read on.

This book in your hands is the result of an extraordinary set of confluences. It also presents, in a format available in bookstores for the first time, material that has already changed history.

You are about to embark as a reader on a journey through an extraordinary story — one whose elements almost defy belief.

The Pfizer Papers is the result of a group of strangers — ordinary people with extraordinary skills, located in different places around the world, with different backgrounds and interests — who all came together, for no money or professional recompense at all; out of the goodness of their hearts, and motivated by love for true medicine and true science — to undertake a rigorous, painfully detailed, and complex research project, which spanned the years 2022 to the present, and which continues to this day.

The material they read through and analyzed involved 450,000 pages of documents, all written in extremely dense, technical language.

This far-flung, relentlessly pursued research project — under the leadership of DailyClout's COO, the remarkably gifted project director Amy Kelly — brought one of the largest and most corrupt institutions in the world, Pfizer, to its knees. This project, pursued by 3,250 strangers who worked virtually and became friends and colleagues, drove a global pharmaceutical behemoth to lose billions of dollars in revenue. It balked the plans of the most powerful politicians on earth. It bypassed the censorship of the most powerful tech companies on earth.

This is the ultimate David and Goliath story.

Comment: The book on Pfizer, to look at just one, was out a long time ago. Readers may also be reminded of a recent article (see link below), with a flashback to 2009, detailing the legal ruling against Pfizer. Of course, the judgement result was a 2.3 billion dollar slap on the wrist, while executives and the pharma machine carried on.

Peanut the squirrel owner rips N.Y. over seizure, killing. Abuse of power is nuts!!

peanut the squirrel
The owners of a pet squirrel with a massive social media following are going nuclear on government officials in New York ... accusing the state of abusing power and wasting taxpayer funds to seize and kill Peanut, all because of some anonymous claims.

Mark Longo and his wife, Daniela, joined us on "TMZ Live" Friday and shared their outrage over what they say has been a grave injustice ... and it got emotional.

Mark tells us officials from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation showed up at his doorstep Wednesday with a search warrant signed by 4 state agencies and a judge ... treating him like a criminal while they raided his home in search of Peanut.

Comment: The state is more concerned about illegal squirrels than illegal immigrants. RIP Peanut.

President Biden was photographed playfully biting at least two babies dressed in Halloween costumes at the White House trick-or-treat event on Wednesday evening.

Both children were carried by their mothers to visit the 81-year-old commander-in-chief, who didn't seem to mind the interaction.

One baby who was dressed as a chicken even giggled after Biden took a faux nibble of his or her leg. The president then engaged in some easy banter with the baby's mother.

Women are 'transphobic' if they do not want to share a bathroom with a transgender colleague, NHS staff have been told.

Mandatory training introduced in August for NHS England employees also claimed that 'people' rather than women or mothers become pregnant and take maternity leave.

Another passage suggested that it is discriminatory for nurses or doctors to pray for unwell patients.

Labour MP suspended after video shows him punching man to the ground

MP Mike Amesbury has been suspended from the Labour Party after CCTV footage emerged appearing to show him punching a man to the ground.

He has also had the Labour whip withdrawn, meaning he will now sit as an independent MP in Parliament.

In footage obtained by the Daily Mail, the Runcorn and Helsby MP is apparently seen continuing to hit the man as he lies in the street.

Cheshire Police said a 55-year-old man had been voluntarily interviewed under caution in relation to the incident and had since been released pending further enquiries.

Comment: The Times reports that the other man involved in the incident has been named:
The man who appears to have been punched to the ground by his Labour MP in an argument about roadworks has been named.

Paul Fellows, 42, had been talking to Mike Amesbury, the MP for Runcorn & Helsby in Cheshire, about the temporary closure of a local bridge before the altercation took place, a witness told The Times.
A witness also described the buildup to the incident:
There is consternation in the area about proposals to increase toll charges on the Mersey Gateway and Silver Jubilee bridges, which connect Widnes with Runcorn over the River Mersey, by 40p.

The source said the conversation, which is said to have touched on the winter fuel allowance, had grown "heated" on both sides, but they claimed there had been no physical provocation until the punch.

Tommy Robinson jailed for contempt of court

Far-right activist Tommy Robinson has been jailed for 18 months after admitting contempt of court by repeating false claims against a Syrian refugee.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, admitted 10 breaches of a High Court order made in 2021, during a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court.

Lawyers for the solicitor general accused the 41-year-old of "undermining" the rule of law.

Passing sentence, Judge Mr Justice Johnson said the breaches of the injunction, which prevented Yaxley-Lenon from repeating the allegations, were not "accidental, negligent or merely reckless" and the custodial threshold was "amply crossed".

The hearing on Monday was the culmination of events that date back to October 2018.
