The global south converges to multipolar Moscow

Lavrov at Meeting

These have been frantic multipolar days at the capital of the multipolar world. I had the honor to personally tell Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov that virtually the whole Global South seemed to be represented in an auditorium of the Lomonosov innovation cluster on a Monday afternoon - a sort of informal UN and in several aspects way more effective when it comes to respecting the UN charter. His eyes gleamed. Lavrov, more than most, understands the true power of the Global Majority.

Moscow hosted a back-to-back multipolar conference plus the second meeting of the International Russophiles Movement (MIR, in its French acronym, which means "world" in Russian). Taken together, the discussions and networking have offered auspicious hints on the building of a truly representative international order - away from the agenda-imposed doom and gloom of single unipolar culture and Forever Wars.

The opening plenary session in the first day fell under the star power of Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova - whose main message was crystal clear: "There can't be freedom without free will", which could easily become the new collective Global South motto. "Civilization-states" set the tone of the overall discussion - as they are meticulously designing the blueprints of economic, technological and cultural development in the post-Western hegemonic world.

Professor of International Relations Zhang Weiwei at Fudan University's China Institute in Shanghai summarized the four crucial points when it comes to Beijing propelling its role as a "new independent pole." That reads like a concise marker of where we are now:
  1. Under the unipolar order, everything from dollars to computer chips can be weaponized. Wars and color revolutions are the norm.
  2. China has become the largest economy in the world by PPP; the largest trade and industrial economy; and it is currently at the forefront of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
  3. China proposes a model of "Unite and Prosper" instead of a Western model of "Divide and Rule".
  4. The West tried to isolate Russia, but the Global Majority sympathizes with Russia. Thus, the Collective West has been isolated by the Global Rest.

The text in Russian has been published by RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan, hours after she reported receiving the recording

The full text of what is claimed to be a discussion by senior German military officers on how to attack the Crimean Bridge in Russia was published by RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan on Friday. She reported that Russian security officials had leaked the recording hours earlier and has pledged to release the original audio shortly.

Simonyan identified the officers as General Ingo Gerhartz, the German Air Force commander, and senior leaders responsible for mission planning. The alleged conversation took place on February 19, according to the source of the leak.

The transcript reveals the officials discussed the efficiency of the Franco-British cruise missile called Storm Shadow by the UK and SCALP by France. Both nations donated some of their stockpile to Ukraine.

1) The audio of the discussion in German can be found on TG

2) "They want to destroy the bridge" could refer to Bundeswehr considering strike on Crimean Bridge, leaked audio purportedly indicates
Kiev executed two bombing attacks on the bridge in October 2022 and July 2023, using a truck and naval drones. Civilians were killed on both occasions. Ukrainian officials claim that destroying the bridge has a military purpose.

Some Western officials have made similar arguments, such as former US defense secretary and CIA director Roberts Gates in an interview with the Washington Post last week.
"If you want to give the Russians a pause, if you want to interrupt that sense of momentum that they have, why not be able to do things like drop the Kerch Strait Bridge?" he said.
Gates urged Western donors to give Ukraine the capability to do that, saying a successful attack would hurt the Russians "psychologically as well as militarily."

The French president brushed off criticism from fellow NATO members, insisting his words were "thought-through and measured"

French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday stood by his controversial remarks on Monday about the prospects of deploying troops to Ukraine, which have caused uproar among some NATO members, and has insisted his words were well thought out.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a visit to inspect the 2024 Olympics village near Paris, Macron refused to backtrack on his statements despite a flurry of criticism from some fellow members of the US-led bloc.

Vast majority of French oppose Macron's 'troops in Ukraine' comment - poll
Survey results published on Thursday by French newspaper Le Figaro showed that 68% of respondents disapproved of Macron's comments on a possible future NATO deployment to the war-torn state, while just 31% said they agreed. The remainder, just 1%, were undecided.
31% is probably an accurate reflection of the percentage supportive of the Western regime generally.

Although Macron has met with resistance, he has support from eastern EU states like Estonia:

NATO member backs 'boots on the ground' in Ukraine
Estonia is "not afraid" of Russia and thinks sending NATO ground troops to Ukraine ought to be under consideration, Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has told Sky News in an interview aired on Wednesday.

So far, only Estonia and Lithuania have expressed any enthusiasm for the idea of escalating NATO support to Kiev beyond deliveries of weapons, ammunition, and money.

"We shouldn't be afraid of our own power. Russia is saying this or that step is escalation, but defense is not escalation," Kallas told Sky. "I'm saying we should have all options on the table. What more can we do in order to really help Ukraine win?"

Earlier this week, French President Emmanuel Macron argued that the US-led bloc should not rule out sending troops to Ukraine, or any other options. Most members of the bloc have since distanced themselves from the idea - except two of the former Soviet Baltic republics.

On Tuesday, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis urged NATO to "think outside the box." Meanwhile, the country's ambassador to Sweden, Linas Linkevicius, said the bloc would "neutralize" the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad if Moscow "dares to challenge NATO."
Were Estonian and Lithuanian officials given their cue cards by the US? The US says that it's gearing up to fight Russia head-on if Russia's SMO is successful, but because we know that they know that this could easily precipitate M.A.D., it's probably bluff to induce other eastern European countries like the Baltic states and Poland to fight Russia in an expanded proxy war.

Pentagon warns of direct Russia-NATO clash
Addressing the US House Armed Services Committee hearing on Thursday, Austin once again urged lawmakers to approve additional funding for Kiev's war effort, painting a grim picture for NATO allies.

"If you are a Baltic state, you are really worried about whether you are next... And, frankly, if Ukraine falls, I really believe that NATO will be in a fight with Russia," the Pentagon chief said.

Austin went on to claim that "other autocrats around the world will look at this and will be encouraged by the fact that this happened and we failed to support a democracy."
Macron is probably aware that he is in the same situation as Britain's Rishi Sunak. That is, French "advisors" are already involved, on the ground, fighting the Russians in Ukraine:

UK 'directly involved' in Ukraine conflict - Kremlin
The outlet RTVI asked Peskov to comment a report from The Times which claimed that Admiral Tony Radakin, the head of the UK armed forces, has helped make "battle plans" for Ukraine.

"In general, it's no secret that the British really provide different forms of support [to Ukraine]. People on the ground and intelligence and so on and so forth," Peskov said. "That is, they are actually directly involved in this conflict."

According to the British outlet, citing a Ukrainian military source, Radakin "is understood to have helped the Ukrainians with the strategy to destroy Russian ships and open up the Black Sea," and seen as "invaluable in coordinating support from other senior chiefs in NATO."

The admiral also reportedly visited Kiev and met with President Vladimir Zelensky, to discuss Ukraine's strategy and the ways in which the West could help.

The Kremlin doesn't have specific information related to Radakin, but "probably our military knows about this," Peskov said.

Radakin, 58, was due to retire in November after three years as chief of the defense staff, but will stay on the job for another year at Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's request, the Times reported. One source told the outlet that the British government considered it important to retain "continuity" ahead of the upcoming general election.

Egypt sells out Palestinians for $10 billion loan package

Israel transfer 1.4 million Palestinians from Rafah

Despite public protestations, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is helping Israel transfer 1.4 million Palestinians from Rafah to tent cities in the Sinai Desert
On Saturday, western news agencies reported that closed-door negotiations took place in Paris that were aimed at reaching an agreement on a ceasefire in Gaza. According to Reuters the talks represented "the most serious push for weeks to halt the fighting in the battered Palestinian enclave and see Israeli and foreign hostages released." Regrettably, the reports from Paris were largely a media-engineered deception intended to divert attention from the real purpose of the confab. Keep in mind, the primary attendees of the gathering were not senior-level diplomats or trained negotiators, but the directors of the Intelligence services including the head of Israel's Mossad, David Barnea, Egyptian spy-chief Abbas Kamel, and CIA Director William Burns.

These are not the men one would choose to hammer-out a hostage exchange or a ceasefire deal, but to implement electronic surveillance, espionage or black ops. Thus, it is extremely unlikely that they met in Paris to settle on a plan for the cessation of hostilities. The more probable explanation is that the respective spy-chiefs are putting the finishing touches on a collaborative plan to breach the Egyptian border wall so that one and a half million severely-traumatized Palestinians can flee into Egypt without any serious opposition from the Egyptian army.

Kiev has long sought to destroy the critical Russian infrastructure, with two bombings damaging the bridge in the past two years.

German military leaders allegedly discussed an operation to bomb the Crimean Bridge, RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan claimed on Friday, citing audio leaked by Russian security officials.

The recording purportedly features a 40-minute conversation between high-ranking Bundeswehr officers, Simonyan said on social media.

They discussed how to carry out the attack while maintaining plausible deniability for German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, according to her account of the conversation.

They also remarked that the German military was keeping its distance from the Ukraine conflict, unlike the American and the British, who they said had been "directly involved for a long time," Simonyan claimed.

She did not publish the audio, but said she was tempted to do so.

FOIA release highlights Durham never intended accountability for deep state actors

In August of 2020 I sent this tweet to the general public after a lengthy discussion with John Durham's lead investigator:
Tweet box
This tweet created major controversy amid those who were deep in the research weeds on the entire Spygate/Russiagate fiasco. Few would believe that in the effort to preserve the institutions at all costs, AG Bill Barr was the Bondo application and Special Prosecutor John Durham was the spray paint.

It was all a coverup operation to hide the rot in the DOJ and beyond.

Essentially, Durham and Bill Aldenberg admitted to me that nothing the Robert Mueller team did in the preceding two years was subject to their review.

Yes, that is correct, Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann were specifically appointed in May 2017 by Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein to help coverup and hide the IC targeting of Donald Trump in the preceding two years. Emphasize this point, the intelligence community was targeting candidate Donald Trump, because they had the power as a result of the new surveillance state.

Mueller was to hide that IC targeting operation. Mueller had the full support of all Democrat and Republican leadership.

Trump plans to 'reform' CIA and FBI - Politico

US spies have raised alarms about "inexperienced loyalists" threatening their jobs...

Former US President Donald Trump is "likely" to launch sweeping reforms of the US intelligence community if he is re-elected in November, prompting concerns from the agencies that once baselessly accused him of ties to Russia.

Politico interviewed 18 intelligence officials - including several former Trump appointees who later came out as his outspoken critics - in an article published on Monday, warning that the possible purge could "undermine the credibility of American intelligence."

One former senior intelligence official, said:
"Trump intends to go after the intelligence community. He started that process before and he's going to do it again. Part of that process is to root out people and to punish people."
Politico summarized the claim by Trump critics: The new president would replace people perceived as hostile to his political agenda with inexperienced loyalists. The two people specifically named were former acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Richard Grenell and aide Kash Patel, who played a key role in declassifying materials about the origins of 'Russiagate'.

Moscow has 'no doubt' Kiev targets Russian civilians

"Western patrons" appear to want Ukraine to produce a larger body count, top investigator Aleksandr Bastrykin has claimed...

Ukraine's recent deadly attacks on the Russian city of Belgorod had no military purpose, and were designed to maximize harm to civilians, the chair of the Russian Investigative Committee has claimed.

Kiev's forces targeted the city on December 30 and again on February 15, causing dozens of civilian casualties in total. Aleksandr Bastrykin discussed the incidents with TASS news agency on Wednesday, and outlined his organization's efforts to identify and prosecute Ukrainian perpetrators of war crimes.
"We have no doubt that the Ukrainian military is deliberately attacking civilian targets. In both cases peaceful residents, including children, were killed. And there were no military sites near where the strikes happened. Apparently, Western patrons expect more and more victims from the Ukrainian Nazis, including among the civilian population."
Ukrainian officials have not commented on either attack on Belgorod. Some Ukrainian media outlets have suggested that the December rocket volley was launched in retaliation for a Russian missile barrage on Ukraine the previous day.

Kiev has accused Moscow of deliberately attacking civilians, rejecting statements by the Russian Defense Ministry that it never attacks at non-military targets. President Vladimir Zelensky went as far as claiming in 2022 that Russia was conducting a genocide of Ukrainians.

Pashinyan's latest anti-Russian statements shows that Armenia became a NATO proxy

Pashinyan

Since the 2018 color revolution, Armenian has become a NATO ally against Russia in the Caucasus.

Diplomatic tensions between Russia and Armenia continue to increase. In a recent statement, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed anti-Russian views, condemning Moscow's military actions in Ukraine. These divergences are a direct result of the pro-Western mentality adopted in Yerevan since the 2018 color revolution, severely affecting the historic ties between both countries.

On February 11, Pashinyan made a statement condemning Russia's special military operation in Ukraine during a security conference in Munich. According to him, Armenia "is not an ally of Russia against Ukraine," emphasizing that the country shares the West's pro-Kiev stance. Pashinyan also said that Armenia "can no longer rely on Russia" to protect it militarily, resuming the biased narrative that blames Moscow for the escalation in tensions with Azerbaijan.

In response, Kremlin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that both countries "have diametrically opposed points of view regarding what is happening in Ukraine and regarding the conflict." He also stated that, despite any divergent opinions on the part of Armenia or other countries, Russia will continue to defend its legitimate interests on the Ukrainian issue.

Elon Musk slams US-Mexico border security

The fact that illegal migrants can cross the US-Mexico border and claim asylum without any identification has effectively turned the US into a "refuge" for criminals, Elon Musk stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.

His comments came in response to a recent Bloomberg article, shared by the X user EndWokeness, reporting that Venezuela is experiencing its lowest homicide rate in 22 years, now that many criminals and gangs have left as part of a massive wave of emigration prompted by economic hardship.

EndWokeness commented on the report, stating "Venezuela has its lowest homicide rate in 22 years because their gangs are coming here."

Musk agreed and claimed:
"The ability to discard your identification documents (from any country), walk across the southern border and claim 'asylum' has turned America into a refuge for the world's worst criminals."
In another post later that day, the billionaire doubled down on his statement, writing:
"Anyone, even a literal serial killer, can toss away the ID they used to get into Mexico from anywhere in the world, then claim asylum, say they have no documents and be ushered into America."
