Britain will reportedly become one of the first nations to adopt an official definition of anti-Semitism, following an increase in the number of reported incidents targeting Jews.

Prime Minister Theresa May is apparently set to deliver a speech in which she will state that the adoption of the definition "means there will be one definition of anti-Semitism - in essence, language, or behavior that displays hatred towards Jews because they are Jews - and anyone guilty of that will be called out on it."

She will also say that it is "unacceptable that there is anti-semitism in this country," according to pre-extracts of the speech cited by The Independent.

"...It is even worse that incidents are reportedly on the rise. As a government we are making a real difference and adopting this measure is a ground-breaking step," she will state.

No details were available as to where May's speech was scheduled to occur, according to Reuters. However, The Independent reported that it would take place during a luncheon with the Conservative Friends of Israel.

Upcoming Deputy Sec of State John Bolton: Russian election hacking looks like false flag operation

falseflag
© WantToKnow info
Amb. John Bolton: "Any foreign government effort 'is a direct assault on the constitution', but no evidence is conclusive." Neocon hardliner John Bolton is set to become Deputy Secretary of State.

In this Fox News' interview, Bolton reiterates that 'if Russia hacked the DNC and RNC email servers in order to help Trump get elected' (just typing that out makes one realize how stupid a narrative this really is) then 'Russia should be punished severely.'

BUT...and it is a big but...Bolton makes it clear that no real evidence points to a Russian hack. Bolton then take things one step further by throwing out the possibility that this was actually an inside job, false flag. Keep in mind, this is Neocon hardliner John Bolton hinting at the entire "Russian hack" as a false flag.

The Duran's Alexander Mercouris today reported...(reference article below)
Former British ambassador Craig Murray confirms DNC and Podesta leaks were the work of a Washington insider; and says he knows identity and has met with this person. FBI meanwhile casts doubt on CIA claim DNC and Podesta leaks were the work of Russia.
Listen to the interview below, carefully (and reference Mercouris' post), and we are confident any reader will see a sinister "fake news" plot being carried out by Obama, McCain and Clinton that is on scale, if not greater, than the WMD Iraq war lie.

Comment: It is mind-blowing how tenaciously the MSM grip the unproven theory that Russians are guilty of hacking the election, as exemplified by Eric Shawn in the video. Bolton is fair and unassuming, steadfast in the need to establish irrefutable facts while imparting a logic-based argument for an inside job, false flag operation.See also: Some quotes from the Bolton interview:
"It is not at all clear to me just viewing this from the outside, that this hacking into the DNC and the RNC computers was not a false flag," Bolton said. "So the question has to be asked, why did the Russians run their smart intelligence service against Hillary's server, but their dumb intelligence service against the election?"
...
When asked by Shawn about those who could be bothered by the false flag claim, Bolton said there needs to be more information as to how the intelligence community came to the conclusion.

"We would want to know who else might want to influence the election and why they would leave fingerprints that point to the Russians," Bolton said. "That's why I say until we know more about how the intelligence community came to this conclusion, we don't whether it's Russian inspired or a false flag."

US and ISIS reportedly set to accept Russian demand that jihadists quit fighting in Aleppo within 48 hours

putin
Even as confirmation is now received that ISIS is once again in control of Palmyra, reports are circulating of a joint US-Russian document which is supposedly being prepared, and which requires all remaining Jihadi fighters to quit eastern Aleppo within a period of 48 hours.

Supposedly work on this document is almost completed and the Al-Qaeda command in eastern Aleppo is signalling it will accept it.

This comes following reports that the Syrian army resumed its offensive in eastern Aleppo today, capturing several more districts from the Jihadi fighters there.

Earlier on Sunday the Russian military released another statement about the situation in Aleppo, confirming that still more civilians have fled the formerly Jihadi controlled areas, and that 1,324 Jihadi fighters have surrendered.
"Around 1,324 militants have laid down their weapons and crossed into areas of the city to surrender to the Syrian government troops. In accordance with the Syrian president's decision, 1,270 were granted amnesty."
Presumably the 54 Jihadi fighters who have not been amnestied are ringleaders who are suspected of various crimes, and who have been arrested.

RNC spokesman Spicer slams MSM hacks: The Russians never hacked us - FBI also reticent to jump to conclusions

Sean Spicer told CNN's Michael Smerconish Saturday morning that the reports claiming the Russian government hacked the Republican National Committee during the 2016 election are false.

On Friday, the Washington Post and New York Times ran articles detailing a CIA "assessment" U.S. Congressmen received last week.

Hill staffers briefed on the assessment claim it states with "high confidence that [Russia] hacked the DNC and the RNC."

The reports further claim that while the DNC documents were handed over to WikiLeaks for publication, the hackers "conspicuously released no documents" from the RNC breach, indicating "that Russia's goal here was to favor one candidate over the other, to help Trump get elected," the Post's source explained.

Comment: CNN adds some more details to the allegations that the RNC was hacked, and quality of the CIA's "intelligence":
The FBI hasn't concluded that the RNC itself was directly breached, a law enforcement official said Sunday. FBI investigators did find that a breach of a third-party entity that held data belonging to the RNC. But the data appears to have been outdated and of little value to the hackers. The FBI also found that some conservative groups and pundits were hacked. The FBI also hasn't found conclusive evidence to show that it was done to help Trump."

At this point, there appears to have been a combination of motivations," one US law enforcement official said. "They wanted to sow discord and undermine our systems. It's clear not even the Russians thought he would win."

Officials familiar with the briefings given to Congress say the CIA assessment wasn't as definitive as has been portrayed in news reports this weekend. The agency developed new information in recent weeks, based on intelligence sources, which prompted a new assessment of the Russian hack. That assessment "leans" toward the view that the Russians were trying to hurt Clinton and help Trump. But the CIA assessment wasn't definitive, the officials said.

Part of the issue is the nature of the CIA and FBI roles in the investigation. The CIA produces raw intelligence, the FBI moves more slowly to reach conclusions based on the intelligence and other investigative work.
...
And then there's the partisan views of members of Congress who have been briefed. "Some people in that briefing heard what they wanted to hear. We just gave them the facts and it's up to the policy makers to do what they want with it," a US intelligence official said.
And here's Reince Priebus explicitly denying that the RNC was hacked:

Watch Chuck lie his face off, saying that the intelligence report "conclusively" linked the hacks to Russian agents. What a tool!

Russian Defense Ministry: Daesh terrorists breached Palmyra defenses using explosive laden cars and suicide bombers

Daesh terrorists used vehicles loaded with explosives and suicide bombers during their attack on Palmyra, and entrenched themselves at the suburbs of the city, the Russian Defense Ministry's spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said on Monday.

"At dusk, Daesh terrorists used cars loaded with explosives and suicide bombers on one of the directions, broke through the defense of the city and entrenched themselves on its suburbs despite heavy losses," Konashenkov said.

The spokesman added that the Syrian Army, supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces, had repelled two powerful attacks. The militants actively used cars loaded with explosives and driven by suicide bombers, as well as tanks and rocket artillery systems.

Why Palmyra fell to ISIS again: Defense of city left to low quality Syrian units

palmyra
By taking Palmyra earlier this year the Syrian army and their Russian backers gained an exposed and isolated salient deep into ISIS-controlled desert that arguably should have never been taken.

The town was never going to be very defensible, unless the surrounding mountains were taken as well which was never done. Its control offered little real value to Syria seeing it was a town of fewer than 80,000 residents most of whom had fled when ISIS stormed it in May 2015.

Of course the Russian-Syrian taking of the town and the surrounding historic ruins in March was a good morale booster and a great moral victory for Damascus and Moscow. Ultimately the propaganda value of liberating this ancient city from ISIS which threatened its destruction was well worth the effort even if it has now been embarrassingly lost.

As the anti-Assad camp and would-be western regime changers well know in a conflict as messy as the one in Syria public relations considerations can be as important, or more important than strategic calculus.

Tehran has agreed to buy 80 passenger planes from US aircraft maker Boeing and plans to close another for dozens of jets from Airbus. The $16.6 billion deal between Iran and the US is the biggest since the 1979 Islamic revolution.

The agreement includes 50 narrow-body 737 MAX aircraft, and 30 long-haul 777s (15 777-300ER planes plus 15 777-9 jets), according to Boeing. The planes will be delivered to Iran over ten years with the first in 2018.

The deal was confirmed on Sunday following a memorandum of understanding signed in June. It is expected to help Iran modernize and expand its aging commercial aircraft fleet after decades of international sanctions. Boeing's last airplane deliveries to Iran were 747 jumbos in 1977.

Russia hiding missile system in secret tents in Eastern Europe, says Fake News outlet NPR

NPR news outlet
"Commercial satellite images suggest that Russia is moving a new generation of nuclear-capable missiles into Eastern Europe". That's an actual sentence that we just copy and pasted from NPR.org. Someone please shoot us.

You were probably too busy petitioning the Electoral College to make Bono the next president, but did you know that Russia "appears to be preparing to permanently base its Iskander missile system" in Eastern Europe?

And by "Eastern Europe", we really mean "Kaliningrad, a territory of the Russian Federation". And, as always, this terrifying story is based on "commercial satellite images [is that you, Bellingcat?]", and was dutifully reported by insufferable windbag emporium and radio broadcaster NPR.

Iranian Defense Minister: If Trump sparks war in Middle East, Israel will be destroyed

Hossein Dehghan

The Iranian defense minister says Donald Trump's election has led to "unease," and that any war with Iran caused by his administration would "destroy" Israel and smaller Gulf states. It comes amid concern Trump will pull out of the nuclear pact agreed with Tehran last year.

Hossein Dehghan said on Sunday that the possibility that Trump may take a "different path" regarding the nuclear deal arranged between Tehran and six world powers last year has led to "unease, particularly among Persian Gulf countries," the semi-official Mehr news agency reported, as cited by Reuters.

He said that "enemies may want to impose a war on us based on false calculations and only taking into consideration their material capabilities."

If such a war were to occur, it "would mean the destruction of the Zionist regime [Israel]...and will engulf the whole region and could lead to a world war," Dehghan said.

CNN fake news policy: All non-English words spoken in Aleppo translated to 'Assad must go'

fake news

An Aleppo boy tells CNN that the rebels starved the city, which is a common euphemism in Arabic for "Assad must go".

Please pour yourself a nice drink. Get comfortable. Are you ready for this?

CNN has apparently invented a new genre of fake news, "We decide what non-English speaking brown people say on television."

This is a very useful form of fake news, especially when you have been peddling a bullshit narrative for the last four years or so, and need to cover your ass when it is finally revealed that civilians in Aleppo are overjoyed now that the "moderate rebels" have been kicked out of their city. Thank goodness these brown people can't speak the Queen's English!
