Humorless media continues to ruin America

Most normal people — whether they support Trump or not — thoroughly enjoyed Donald's master troll tweet in which he cited a benign photograph of Chuck Schumer drinking coffee with Putin at a gas station — and insinuated that it was irrefutable proof of the senator's ties to Russia.

The smoking gun? NYT reported Obama spied on Trump over alleged 'Russian ties'

Problem is that Obama kept the wiretap active, even after ZERO evidence was found to show a connection between Trump and the Russian bank.

In an article published on The Duran on November 1, 2016, entitled, "FBI says no connection between Donald Trump and Russia. Harry Reid goes full 'McCarthy'", we reported on Hillary Clinton's, election witch hunt, desperately trying to connect candidate Trump to the Kremlin.

Boris Johnson to visit Moscow - says Britain has 'no appetite' for Cold War with Russia

Boris Johnson

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has insisted the UK, the EU and the US have "no appetite" for a "new Cold War" with Russia.

Speaking ahead of a scheduled visit to Moscow in the next few weeks, Johnson said it was important for the Western world to "engage" with Russia and help shape its policies, Ruptly reported.

"Point number one is to get that message across to the Russians. They've got to change, they've got to show that they could be trusted again.

Comment: Rich words coming from the US' that is its chief assistant warmonger. The West needs to show Russia that it can be trusted, not the other way around

"It is very, very important. But it is also important to stress that we are not in a new cold war with Russia," Johnson said before entering an EU foreign and defense ministers meeting in Brussels.

The Foreign Minister's comments come amid news that he has accepted an invitation by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to visit Moscow.

It would be the first time since 2012 that a minister has visited the Kremlin.

While details of the visit are still to be announced, a Foreign Office (FO) spokeswoman said that it would not be the usual "business" meeting, and that it would be based on the "engage but beware" approach agreed by Johnson and PM Theresa May.

Israeli lawmaker: All Palestinians can become Israeli citizens, but they can't vote

Benjamin Netanyahu Miki Zohar
Miki Zohar, with the leader of his party, Benjamin Netanyahu
Everyone always asks, If there's not going to be a Palestinian state, what does Israel plan to do with all those Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem under its control? Here's a visionary answer from an up-and-coming member of the Knesset from Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party, Miki Zohar, speaking on Israeli television Sunday.

That's right, this is Zohar's vision, on the English language program The Spin Room.

Over the years, the Knesset has used the veneer of democracy while acting arbitrarily to ensure that demographic and political control remains exclusively in the hands of the state's Jewish citizenry and parliamentarians.

For example, in an effort to maintain a Jewish demographic majority, the Family Unification Law of 2003 prohibits Palestinian citizens of Israel from reuniting with their spouses who live in the West Bank or Gaza. As a result, more than 150,000 children born of these so-called mixed marriages are denied the most elementary rights and privileges attendant to Israeli citizenship.

In a series of other laws, the Knesset has not only imposed a broad range of limitations on freedom of movement, speech and access to the political system for Palestinian citizens, but imposed ideological boundaries on the platforms of political parties to which they may belong.

By design, such laws thwart the ability of Palestinians to impact upon a political process which, daily, dictates every phase of their lives, but yet leaves them essentially powerless to bring about any fundamental change in the system itself. These restrictions necessarily deny Palestinian citizens an equal opportunity to play a meaningful role in the political life of Israel, otherwise available to their Jewish counterparts.

Security services have thwarted 13 potential terror attacks on Britain in four years, while conducting more than 500 terror investigations at any one time, the UK's most senior counter-terrorism police officer says.

Assistant commissioner Mark Rowley also said investigators have been making arrests at a rate of close to one a day since 2014, according to the BBC.

Rowley disclosed the figures while launching Action Counters Terrorism - a major appeal to the public asking people to report any suspicious activities and act on their instincts.

He said the public's contribution is crucial to foiling atrocities, noting that it has helped stop some of the 13 planned attacks.

#Pedogate arrests continue! Ex-campaign manager for John McCain arrested on charges of molesting multiple boys

Jeffrey Claude Bartleson, pedogate
Jeffrey Claude Bartleson was arrested on Jan. 29 and then re-arrested about a week later after a campaign worker in the McCain office told police she believed Bartleson molested one of her sons
A wide-ranging investigation has been launched into allegations that a well-known Pueblo resident has molested many boys over the years, including most recently when he was the manager for Sen. John McCain's presidential-campaign office in Pueblo. Under investigation is Jeffrey Claude Bartleson, 52, who was arrested Jan. 29 and then re-arrested Wednesday after a campaign worker in the McCain office told police she believed Bartleson molested one of her sons.

Sgt. Brett Wilson, who heads the Pueblo Police Department's special victims unit, said today that there are "several active investigations" involving Bartleson. He said numerous boys will be interviewed by the two detectives who have been assigned full-time to the case. Because of the active nature of the investigation, Wilson said he couldn't detail the allegations.

However, in affidavits filed by police investigators in Pueblo District Court, authorities say that the most recent complaints follow a pattern involving Bartleson that dates to 1982.

Comment: As is the case with pedophiles, they typically molest many children before they are caught and their history goes back decades. Unfortunately many of the cases reach the stature of limitations, preventing prosecution due to the amount of time that has passed. Not so with Bartleson.

Comment: A real creep, no doubt. When multiple kids are telling you this guy sexually assaulted them there's definitely something there. It seems that the revelations from #pedogate keep showing us that pedophiles are all around, and especially connected to the powerful Washington DC elite.

Trump's geopolitical headaches continue to mount.

One day after North Korea launched 4 ballistic missiles, 3 of which fell into the East Sea inside Japan's economic exclusion zone, and which have painted a spotlight on how Trump will react to this latest provocation, Fox reports that Iran also test-fired a pair of ballistic missiles this weekend into the Gulf of Oman, with one missile destroying a floating barge approximately 155 miles away.

The launches of the Fateh-110 short-range ballistic missiles were the first tests of the missile in two years, one official said. It was not immediately clear if this was the first successful test at sea -- raising concerns for the U.S. Navy, which operates warships in the area.

Greek economy contracts, marking worst quarterly performance since height of debt crisis

greek economy, greece
After two straight quarters of growth Greece's economy contracted from October to December, marking the worst quarterly performance since the height of the country's debt crisis in the summer of 2015.

The latest data from the country's statistical service Elstat revealed the economy had shrunk 1.2 percent in the final quarter of last year which is three times more than the estimated 0.4 percent.

The contraction was driven by a 2.1 percent decline in government spending. The main drivers behind the decline in economic output were weaker public consumption and a negative contribution from net exports. Consumption fell 1.1 percent compared to the third quarter, with imports rising by 4.5 percent and exports declining 1.4 percent.

The gloomy data is a setback to Athens' efforts to show that taxation and pension cuts, part of the €86 billion bailout deal, will bear fruit and lead to recovery this year.

Netanyahu: Iran responsible for more than 80% of Israel's security concerns

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran on Monday of being "the hotbed of global terrorism" and the cause of 80 percents of his country's security problems.

"Tehran's goal is to plant its flag atop the ruins of the free world," Netanyahu said at the Foreign Ministry. "A member of our defense establishment has estimated that Iran accounts for over 80 percent of our security problems."

In his speech on the 25th anniversary of a suicide bombing of the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires, which Israel blamed on Iran, Netanyahu slammed Tehran for its alleged attempts to build a nuclear weapon, test ballistic missiles and its role in Middle Eastern instability.

The statement comes after reports suggesting that the US has allegedly proposed Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jordan and Egypt to form a US-backed defense pact which would share intelligence with Israel and counter Iran's influence in the region.

No stranger to wiretapping: Obama administration tapped phones and computers of friends and foe alike

obama wiretap, obama spying

The
Main Stream Media and other enemies of the current President are challenging the proposition that President Obama wire tapped President Donald Trump during the 2016 Presidential race. President Trump started this discussion with his tweets over the weekend.

In his first tweet President Trump tweeted:
Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 4, 2017
He next tweeted:
Is it legal for a sitting President to be "wire tapping" a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!
