New DC US Attorney Ed Martin opens inquiry into unlawful use of common J6 felony

Ed Martin, the acting DC US Attorney, is demanding records related to charging decisions made by his predecessor to unlawfully apply a document-tampering statute against 350+ J6ers.

Paul Hodgkins, a 38-year-old crane operator living in a working-class neighborhood of Tampa, traveled alone by bus from Florida to Washington DC to attend President Donald Trump's speech on January 6, 2021. After the speech, Hodgkins, like thousands of fellow Trump supporters, walked from the Ellipse to the grounds of the U.S. Capitol.

At 2:50 p.m., more than 35 minutes after the first breach, Hodgkins entered the building. Carrying a "Trump 2020" flag, Hodgkins made his way to the Senate floor and took a selfie. He raised the flag inside the chamber then peacefully exited the building at 3:15 p.m. He did not assault police or vandalize government property.

Nonetheless, Hodgkins was arrested by the FBI on February 16, 2021 on his way to work. Armed agents proceeded to raid his home and seize his electronic devices. A magistrate judge in Washington placed Hodgkins, an Eagle Scout with no criminal record, on a high intensity monitoring program requiring him to wear an ankle bracelet and abide by a curfew, only allowing him the freedom to go to work; he also was forbidden from traveling outside the Tampa area.

Comment: Everyone harmed by these malicious prosecutions should be compensated for their suffering and material losses. Unfortunately, nothing can make up for the broken relationships and deaths.

Re slimeball Jamie Raskin:

Interesting that Raskin is one of the loudest congress critters hysterically shrieking about DOGE looking into USAID. Shutting down any support for Trump was part of keeping the grift going.

Panicked Democrats attempt to lay eleventh hour trap to halt Kash Patel nomination momentum

Democrats are relying on dubious tactics and allegations that wither under scrutiny to delay Kash Patel's nomination to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

In a letter led by Ranking Member Dick Durbin (D-IL), Democrats took the unusual step Tuesday of asking Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) to hold an additional hearing with Patel after struggling to halt his nomination's momentum during a five-and-a-half hour confirmation hearing on January 30.

Grassley declined the request later Tuesday, writing that Patel "has provided ample opportunity for this Committee to scrutinize his record" and that "none of the issues raised in [the Democrats'] letter justify delay."

Durbin's letter raises a handful of objections to Grassley moving Patel's nomination forward that appear little more than dilatory. He also uses his letter to recirculate a request from Senate Democrats for the Department of Justice to release Volume II of Special Counsel Jack Smith's report on Trump's classified documents case, which was sealed under court order by Judge Aileen Cannon in January after she threw out the case in July.

Comment: Pretty lame of the Dems to try to a legal snare against an experienced Washington lawyer and former federal prosecutor. He side-stepped that one easily. Behind the scenes, the Democrats must be truly freaking out.

Before it was shuttered, USAID routed funds to Soros-aligned causes, terrorists and drag queens

Before the Trump administration closed USAID's doors, the agency regularly routed funding to causes aligned with George Soros' nonprofit empire, terrorists and drag queens.

The agency came under scrutiny from the new administration over failures to ensure transparency in its funding to organizations across the globe and concerns that the leadership was not responding to explicit policy directives from the State Department and the wider executive branch to align its programs with Trump policies and the U.S. national interest.

In recent days, the Trump administration identified USAID programs ranging from contraceptives for Afghanistan to LGBT diversity programs for European countries as clear evidence that foreign aid needed to be paused and reevaluated, a task that fell to the Rubio State Department.

The development agency for years also funneled money to several nonprofit groups that also received substantial backing from components of George Soros' empire. Some previously came under scrutiny during the Obama administration for "democracy promotion" and judicial reform efforts in European countries that critics claimed promoted leftist politics.

Comment: The exploitation of the aid was the point.

Trump's shakeup of USAID reveals agency financed censorship and smear campaigns

usaid
Recent reporting by journalists Sayer Ji, Michael Shellenberger and Alex Gutentag, and Lee Fang have linked USAID funding to the smearing and censoring of U.S. and global independent journalists and media platforms.

As the Trump administration began reorganizing and cutting major funding to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), revelations emerged that the organization financed groups, including some media outlets, engaged in smear campaigns and censorship against dissident voices.

The agency, known as a front for U.S. intelligence operations, has financed regime change and other American interests worldwide. It also funds news organizations that are aligned with U.S. foreign policy objectives.

This includes large international organizations that, in turn, fund smaller media organizations like BBC Media Action and the International Fund for Public Interest Media, chaired by the former head of The New York Times.

USAID also directly funds smaller media organizations and even runs its own media initiatives to undermine regimes the U.S. deems problematic.

Reporters Without Borders, which lamented the Trump cuts to USAID, reported that in 2023 the agency funded 6,200 journalists, 707 non-state news outlets and "supported 279 media-sector civil society organizations dedicated to strengthening independent media."

Recent reporting by journalists such as Sayer Ji of GreenMedInfo, Lee Fang, and Michael Shellenberger and Alex Gutentag of Public News has linked that funding to the smearing and censoring of independent journalists and platforms within the U.S. and internationally.
"USAID has long functioned as a geopolitical instrument, using media funding to shape narratives favorable to Western governmental and corporate interests," Ji told The Defender.

Moscow rejects Trump's Gaza plan

Russia insists on a two-state solution to the Middle East conflict, the Kremlin has said.

Russia has rejected US President Donald Trump's plan to "take over Gaza." A two-state solution is the only way to settle the Middle East conflict, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has reiterated.

Speaking on Tuesday following a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, Trump reiterated his view that the two million Palestinians who live in Gaza should be permanently resettled to countries such as Egypt and Jordan. The US would "take over" the territory and lead efforts to clear the destruction left by 15 months of war between Israel and Hamas, he added.

According to the UN, approximately 92% of homes in Gaza have been destroyed or severely damaged.

Moscow's position is that the only way to resolve the Middle East conflict is to create a Palestinian state to exist side-by-side with Israel, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated during a press briefing on Wednesday:
"This is the thesis that is enshrined in the relevant UN Security Council resolution, this is the thesis that is shared by the overwhelming majority of countries involved in this problem. We proceed from it, we support it and believe that this is the only possible option."
Trump's resettlement idea has also been rejected by major Arab nations, including Egypt and Jordan, noted Peskov. Moscow holds the same position, he added.

Comment: Palestinians have made their choice...it amounts to 100% death.
Hamas has rejected US President Donald Trump's proposal to assume control of Gaza and relocate Palestinians from the enclave.

In a statement on Wednesday, Izzat al-Risheq, a member of the armed group's Politburo, slammed the plan, calling it "racist" and "a blatant attempt to eradicate the Palestinian cause."

At a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday, Trump proposed that the US take over Gaza to redevelop what he referred to as the "demolition site" that the enclave has become following the 15-month conflict between Israel and Hamas. He described his vision as transforming Gaza into the "Riviera of the Middle East," outlining a plan for the US to clear the area, rebuild infrastructure, and create jobs and housing. He also reiterated his earlier call for the Palestinians to be permanently resettled outside of the enclave.

According to al-Risheq, Trump's plan would deny Palestinians their "established national rights."
"The Palestinian people in Gaza have thwarted plans for displacement and deportation under the continuous bombardment for more than fifteen months. They are rooted in their land and will not accept any plans aimed at uprooting them."
Another senior leader of the group, Sami Abu Zuhri, called Trump's suggestions "a recipe for creating chaos and tension" in the entire region. Zuhri said:
"Our people in the Gaza Strip will not allow these plans to pass. What is required is to end the [Israeli] occupation and aggression against our people, not to expel them from their land."
Trump's remarks drew a barrage of criticism worldwide. Türkiye and Egypt were first to reject any attempts to displace Palestinians. In an official statement following a meeting between Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, in Ankara on Tuesday, the two condemned any actions aimed at relocating Palestinians, warning that this would risk escalating the conflict and jeopardize efforts for peace.

Saudi Arabia, a key American ally in the region, also firmly rejected Trump's proposal, calling the idea of relocating Gazans an "infringement on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people." In a statement on Wednesday, the country's Foreign Ministry warned it would not form diplomatic relations with Israel, Washington's long-term goal, without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

Australia and New Zealand reiterated their support for a two-state solution and said they won't be commenting further on every proposal put forward with regard to Gaza in the future.

Riyad Mansour, the leader of the Palestinian delegation to the US, suggested that instead of being moved to other countries, Palestinians should either be allowed to reclaim their homes in Israel or rebuild Gaza themselves. He said in a statement on Wednesday:
"For those who want to send Gazans to a happy 'nice place,' let them go back, you know, to their original homes inside Israel. There are nice places there, and they will be happy to return."
With no guarantees of any kind from Netanyahu, leaving the Palestinians in Gaza amounts to certain death continually proven. Trump can at least put the slaughter on hold. Currently 62,000 dead (not counting past decades of death and destruction) is not enough for Neti. Someone should take the face off his smirk.

Rape and torture: Will the West cover for Kiev's war crimes?

village destroyed

Atrocities that happen on the inconvenient side of the barricades must not be swept under the rug.

Russia's Investigative Committee has announced the initiation of a criminal investigation into the killing of civilians in a small village in Kursk Region.

The region on the border with Ukraine is, of course, the site of the worse than pyrrhic incursion which Kiev launched into Russian territory last August. Since initially being overrun, the territory under the control of Ukrainian forces has unsurprisingly been shrinking under a Russian counterattack, while Kiev has been wasting its soldiers' lives on yet another strategically absurd and tactically mulish to-the-last-man stand in classic Zelensky style.

Against this grim backdrop, the village in question, Russkoye Porechnoye, was under temporary Ukrainian occupation before being liberated by Russian forces. Entering the settlement, those forces reported finding evidence of the crimes that are now under investigation.

Specifically, Russian prosecutors charge Ukrainian forces with severely abusing and killing 22 civilians (11 men and 11 women) in Russkoye Porechnoye. They have also identified five individual Ukrainian servicemen as perpetrators: they go by the field pseudonyms of "Kum" (godfather), a platoon commander, "Motyl" (moth), "Provodnik" (conductor), and "Khudozhnik" (artist) and belong to Ukraine's 92nd assault brigade. A fifth man, Evgenii Fabrisenko, is of special importance as he is the only one - at least until now - who has been apprehended by Russian forces.

USAID gave $68 million to the WEF billionaires ski club at Davos

Another day, another racket

As Elon excavates the Motherlode of global funding, the pieces start to fit together.

Kanekoa the Great wonders why USAID gave $68 million dollars to the World Economic Forum — a group of networking billionaires who meet in January each year to ski in Davos. They turn up in private jets to discuss how they can stop the average man flying. You vill own nothing!

Jo Nova wonders why no media outlet on Earth seemingly figured this out for themselves. Perhaps it was the millions in funding the government paid some media outlets, presumably, to say nothing at all the right moments?

It's almost like we already had One World Government all along, we just didn't know it.

Trump To 'Force' Zelensky To Agree On Ceasefire By Easter According To Alleged Leaked Peace Plan

trump putin zelenskyy
As of the start of this week, the Kremlin said 'no progress' had been made in arranging peace talks on Ukraine between Moscow and Washington. Rumors and speculation abound, given that US diplomats under Trump are without doubt working behind-the-scenes to arrange something, with the possibility that talks could be hosted in a 'neutral' location like Saudi Arabia or the UAE.

A Thursday Daily Mail report has just added immense fuel to the fire of speculation, presenting the allegedly leaked Trump ceasefire plan which he intends to present for Russia's consideration. The report says Trump will try to 'force' Ukraine's President Zelensky to agree to a ceasefire by Easter, which is on April 20 this year.

The Trump administration is seeking to end the war within 100 days. "The unconfirmed plans, reported by Ukrainian outlet Strana, have been doing the rounds in 'political and diplomatic circles' in Ukraine, and will include a ceasefire by April 20 that would freeze Russia's steady advance, a ban on Ukraine from joining NATO, and a demand for Kyiv to accept Russian sovereignty on annexed land."

Audit USAID...Then Shut it Down!

usaid trump
As of this writing, when you attempt to access the US Agency for International Development (USAID) website or social media pages you are informed that, "This site can't be reached." The media reports that the new Trump Administration has not only frozen USAID activities but may be planning on bringing it back under control of the US State Department. Other reports, including statements by Elon Musk, suggest that it will be closed completely.

If true, the closing of USAID may be one of the most significant changes President Trump has made among many dramatic actions in his first couple of weeks in office. Many Americans may still have the idea that USAID is a government agency delivering relief at disaster sites overseas. They may still remember the bags of rice or grain with the USAID logo on them. But that is not USAID.

USAID is a key component of the US government's "regime change" operations worldwide. USAID spends billions of dollars every year propping up "NGOs" overseas that function as shadow governments, eating away at elected governments that the US interventionists want to overthrow. Behind most US foreign policy disasters overseas you will see the fingerprints of USAID. From Ukraine to Georgia and far beyond, USAID is meddling in the internal affairs of foreign countries - something that would infuriate Americans if it was happening to us.

Defense Department drafting plans to withdraw all U.S. troops from Syria

The Defense Department is developing plans to withdraw all U.S. troops from Syria, two U.S. defense officials told NBC News on Tuesday.

President Donald Trump and officials close to him recently expressed interest in pulling U.S. troops out of Syria, the officials said, leading Pentagon officials to begin drawing up plans for a full withdrawal in 30, 60 or 90 days.

Trump's new national security adviser, Mike Waltz, spent Friday at the headquarters of U.S. Central Command in Tampa, Florida, meeting with senior U.S. military leaders and getting briefings on the Middle East, according to U.S. defense officials.

A White House official said the potential reduction of U.S. forces in Syria was not a topic of the briefing or the purpose of Waltz's visit.

"It's good for NSA Waltz to visit CENTCOM to get a sense of the entire region," the White House official said, pointing out that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House on Tuesday and that Jordan's King Abdullah is scheduled to visit next week.
