Trump gives Zelensky bum's rush and flushes the European ploy to escalate war against Russia

Fired!

After his mauling from President Trump live on TV and then being booted out of the White House, Ukraine's Zelensky immediately phoned European leaders.

That reaction shows that the Ukrainian actor-turned-president had flown to Washington from Kiev not to merely sign a supposed minerals deal with the U.S., but to inveigle Trump into a trap to escalate the proxy war in Ukraine against Russia.

No doubt there is consternation and alarm among the Europeans that their agenda for prolonging the war against Russia is in disarray. Worst still, a furious Trump may now cut Ukraine loose and leave it completely at the mercy of Russia.

European leaders are huddling in London on Sunday for an emergency meeting convened by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Zelensky is to attend and be showered with European expressions of support and billions more of taxpayer money. Incredibly, they still champion the impudent conman as a "Churchillian hero".

The fallout in the Oval Office on Friday was a sordid spectacle. Trump and his vice president, JD Vance, tore into Zelensky under the full glare of TV cameras for daring to make more demands for U.S. security guarantees as part of a deal giving American companies access to Ukraine's alleged mineral wealth, including oil, gas and rare earth metals.

Trump blasts Zelensky on live TV at WH meeting: 'You're not winning this'

"Offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the president who's trying to save your country," he added.

President Donald Trump offered blunt words to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in front of reporters at the White House, warning him that he was risking a global conflict, losing the war, and demanding that he show gratitude for American support.

Zelensky came to Washington to sign a mineral exploitation agreement with the United States, a deal Trump has demanded as compensation for the American investment in Ukraine's defense.

If you watch the full Trump-Zelensky press conference, it is very clear that Zelensky, not Trump or Vance, became the antagonist. Both POTUS and VP were very respectful and cordial until Zelensky very publicly ignited a firestorm.

It all starts at 40:30

1) Zelensky essentially rejects how VP described the mandate of POTUS to conduct foreign affairs, and he insinuates that Trump term one did nothing to stop Putin.

2) He then basically tells Vance that his ideas are faulty and that the administration's diplomacy won't work.

These two comments are *deliberately antagonistic.* Everything was all well and good, but Zelensky took two major shots in a public forum, and they had to respond. And respond they did.

Recall, this is the guy who interfered in our electoral politics and called VP "too radical," and bashed Trump in an interview with New York Mag weeks before the election.

Zelensky is ENTIRELY at fault here. 100%.

Would-be Trump assassin Thomas Crooks may have had accomplice, data shows

Investigators say FBI is suppressing information

It's been almost nine months since a seemingly mild-mannered 20-year-old attempted to assassinate then-Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at a rally in Butler.

And we still have no good reason why.

Sources told The Post the FBI has obstructed efforts to solve the mystery of why Thomas Matthew Crooks, who left no manifesto, did what he did. It's left local law enforcement as well as Crooks' former friends, classmates and teachers frustrated.

Those who may know — Crooks' parents, Matthew and Mary — have refused all interviews and remain in their small, three-bedroom home here, sealed off from the world like hermits. Neighbors say they only leave the house at 3 a.m. to buy groceries.

Romania: The center of the struggle between liberal-globalists & populist-nationalists

european union romania usa flags
What's unfolding in this Balkan country is nothing less than the opening of another New Cold War front, albeit this time an ideological one which also interestingly pits nominal NATO allies against one another as the EU and the US take opposite sides.

Observers were shocked on Wednesday after former Romanian presidential front-runner Calin Georgescu was temporarily detained and charged on six counts amidst police raids against some of his closest supporters as he was preparing to file for his candidacy in May's election redux. The first round last December was annulled on the basis that an unnamed state actor promoted him on TikTok prior to the vote but it was later discovered that this was just another party's marketing campaign gone wrong.

It was explained here how Georgescu's election could have ruined the US "deep state's" escalation plans against Russia while this analysis here added more context after the annulment. The immediate run-up to the latest developments saw Vice President Vance lambast the Romanian government as anti-democratic for what it did last December. Wednesday's events were then followed by Musk retweeting a video of State Department whistleblower Mike Benz describing the "deep state's" interest in Romania.

Whistleblower: There's a trans cult inside the NSA

national security agency
This week, City Journal broke the story of the National Security Agency's secret sex chatroom, which was filled with salacious discussions of genital surgeries, trans fetishes, and sexual activities. The headlines rocketed through the national media and led to action by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who, within days, released a memo demanding that the intelligence agencies identify the participants, terminate their employment, and remove their security clearances.

But according to our whistleblower, these sex chats were just the tip of the iceberg. This longtime NSA insider tells me that the ideological capture of the NSA began a decade ago. Trans activists have entrenched themselves in positions of power, pressured employees to undergo reeducation trainings, and compromised national security in the name of ideology.

This is a sadly familiar story in many American institutions. But with the NSA, the stakes are higher. The agency is responsible for overseeing America's digital intelligence-gathering and is, in theory, a key part of our national security apparatus.

Putin warns of attempts to sabotage talks with US

Putin

Moscow should stay vigilant about thwarting attempts to meddle in its relations with Washington, the Russian president has said.

Some Western elites are "not happy" about the potential rapprochement between Moscow and Washington and will seek to "compromise" the recently resumed dialogue between the two powers, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.

Under US President Donald Trump's administration, Russia and the US have started to gradually restore contacts that were virtually non-existent for approximately three years under his predecessor, Joe Biden.

Earlier this month, high-ranking Russian and American delegations met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Following the talks, both nations agreed to work toward ending the Ukraine conflict and improving diplomatic and economic relations.

Speaking at the meeting of the board of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) officials on Thursday, Putin said that the contacts with the Trump administration "inspire hope." The two sides are willing to work on restoring bilateral relations, as well as resolving the "systemic" issues in the global security architecture that led to the Ukraine conflict and other crises. Yet, some forces are forcing to prevent that from happening, the president warned.

Russia and the US' diplomatic choreography at the UN shows their commitment to a "New Détente"

PutinTRumpmontage

Any claims of Russia "backstabbing" or "selling out" China are absurd and driven by a desire to sow discord.

The "New Détente", which refers to the ongoing efforts between Russia and the US to enter into a rapprochement in the New Cold War similar in spirit to what they agreed to half a century ago during the Old Cold War, is no longer speculation after the US' pivot towards Russia at the UN. The US joined Russia in vetoing a resolution from the General Assembly that condemned Russia for its special operation and then Russia sided with the US in supporting the latter's more neutral one in the Security Council.

This diplomatic choreography was clearly coordinated between Putin and Trump to show the entire world that they're committed to the "New Détente". In parallel with what was unfolding on the world stage, each leader also spoke highly about the future of their economic ties, with Trump hyping everyone up to expect "major economic transactions" while Putin hinted at cooperation in the aluminum and rare earth industries. This followed their representatives discussing Arctic energy cooperation in Riyadh.

It was foreseen in early January that "Creative Energy Diplomacy Can Lay The Basis For A Grand Russian-American Deal", which readers can learn more about from the preceding hyperlinked analysis. The two dozen compromises suggested near the end have already been agreed upon in part as proven by the US withholding Article 5 guarantees from NATO countries' troops in Ukraine, ruling out its membership in NATO, discussing energy cooperation with Russia, and flirting with other forms of sanctions relief.

Comment: While Korybko makes good points, he has a propensity to project hypotheticals and overthink. The inclusion of Iran in his analysis forgets/ignores the ongoing reality of the US/Israeli bond and the Palestinian fate near completion. Overall, the tide could turn at any point and wash away any/all progress including the topic above.

"It may be time the FBI's New York field office gets paid a visit in the style it's very well accustomed to doling out."
-- Mike Benz
Turns out new Attorney General Pam Bondi was a little off the mark earlier this week when she said the Jeffrey Epstein files were sitting on her desk. Actually, it was a six-hundred-pound tar-smeared hairball with a gift tag that read: "To Pamela Jo from her Friends in Blobville, good luck untangling this!" Well, she did tell Fox News host Jesse Waters that the thing sitting on her desk was "disgusting."

As promised, those Epstein files were released on Thursday — a measly two-hundred pages — to much chagrin and embarrassment for all, since the material turned out to be the same old lists and flight logs that every blogger and his uncle has already put out on the Web for years — say, what . . .?

But then the plot thickened later in the day when AG Bondi said a whistleblower informed her that the New York office of the FBI and their counterparts in the Southern District of NY (Manhattan) DOJ offices were hiding "thousands and thousands" of pages evidence and other stuff (videos? photos?) they had been sitting on for years.

Tulsi Gabbard labels CNN 'propaganda arm' of spies

TrumpGabbard

Newly confirmed US Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard has accused CNN of acting as a "propaganda arm" for disloyal intelligence agents, calling the network's report on potential retaliation by dismissed spies an "indirect threat" to President Donald Trump's administration.

As part of Trump's broader effort to downsize and restructure the federal government, the Central Intelligence Agency has recently offered so-called buyouts to its agents. In a report published on Monday, citing unnamed sources, CNN claimed:
"Some senior CIA officers were quietly discussing how the dismissals 'risk creating a group of disgruntled former employees who might be motivated to take what they know to a foreign intelligence service."
Gabbard told Fox News on Tuesday:
"I am curious about how they think this is a good tactic to keep their job. They are exposing themselves, essentially, by making this indirect threat - using their propaganda arm, CNN, that they've used over and over again - to reveal their hand.

"Their loyalty is not to America, not to the American people or the Constitution; it is to themselves. These disgruntled employees are exactly the kinds of people we need to root out, get rid of, so that the patriots who do work in this area, who are committed to our core mission, can actually focus on that."

USAID sent millions to Ukraine in secret slush funds, investigators found

U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) officials repeatedly refused to allow investigators working for Senate DOGE Caucus Chairman Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) to examine documents related to U.S. tax dollars allegedly intended to help Ukraine combat the Russian invasion, investigators told The Epoch Times.

When the investigators were finally allowed to view the documents, it was "under surveillance in a highly secure room at USAID headquarters" even though "nothing USAID shared was classified," said the investigators, who asked not to be named.

During their investigation, the Iowa Republican's sleuths said they found:
"Millions of dollars of USAID programs in secret slush funds being used to funnel millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars into Ukraine for questionable purposes unrelated to our own national interests. [Funds allegedly] intended to alleviate economic distress in the war-torn nation were spent on such frivolous activities as sending Ukrainian models and designers on junkets to New York City, London Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and South by Southwest in Austin, Texas."
Among the secret slush funds was one providing $114,000 to fund purchases of "a premium, limited-edition furniture line," and another $91,000 used to finance "a trade mission for a Scandinavian-style furniture line."

Other USAID funding uncovered by the investigators included $148,000 for "a pickle maker," $255,000 to "a producer of organic tea and coffee," $104,00o for "an artisanal fruit tea company," and $89,000 to support "a Ukrainian vineyard."

USAID funding also provided $300,000 each to a dog collar manufacturer and a company selling a pet tracking application, $161,000 for "a purveyor of contemporary knitwear," $126,000 for a "photographer for fashion design publications," and $84,000 to support "a luxury bridal brand."

Comment: Subversion was the mark of Obama. No Accountability was Biden and his whole administration. How much hate did it take for these two degenerates to undermine and degrade the nation to the brink of financial disaster? SOTT has been reporting on USAID for years. The 'DOGE consequence' is long overdue.
