Best of the Web: 'Conflict engagement': How Democrat Strategists Plotted to Incite Violence at Trump Rallies

Comment: Remember those fights that would break out at Trump rallies? And remember the media reaction? And remember how it seemed that violence followed Trump everywhere, therefore Trump was inciting the violence?


It turns out that Democratic Party strategists hired black operatives, some of them convicted criminals, to pay networks of agitators to follow Trump (and later his running-mate Pence) and start fights at Trump rallies precisely so the media would portray Trump in a negative light.

The following is Parts 1 & 2 of a year-long undercover investigation exposing some of the decidedly undemocratic practices of the Democratic Party. In it you will see:

Comment: Creamer, the middleman between the Clinton campaign, the DNC and the fake protesters, has visited the White House 342 times since 2009, and met with Obama on 47 of those trips. He last visited in June of this year.

Comment: The Syrian first lady recently gave her first foreign televised interview in 7 years. Despite being trashed in recent years by the mainstream media, there was a time when she was much admired in the West. She has certainly always been loved in Syria.

Honored alongside his wife at Western capitals throughout the 2000s, Bashar al-Assad went from being held up as 'an asset in the war on terror' and 'progressive and secular' to 'brutal dictator' overnight when he refused to commit to US-brokered deals that would see the US win control over a nexus of Middle East pipelines delivering natural gas to Europe, thus replacing Russia's existing pipelines.

The following article about Asma al-Assad was published by Vogue just before the West launched its brutal war on Syria to oust her and her husband in 2011. It was her last major media appearance. It praised the al-Assad family, lauding their reforms in Syria, before the magazine took down the article and attempted to erase its online presence...

Asma al-Assad is glamorous, young, and very chic - the freshest and most magnetic of first ladies. Her style is not the couture-and-bling dazzle of Middle Eastern power but a deliberate lack of adornment. She's a rare combination: a thin, long-limbed beauty with a trained analytic mind who dresses with cunning understatement. Paris Match calls her "the element of light in a country full of shadow zones." She is the first lady of Syria.

Syria is known as the safest country in the Middle East, possibly because, as the State Department's Web site says, "the Syrian government conducts intense physical and electronic surveillance of both Syrian citizens and foreign visitors." It's a secular country where women earn as much as men and the Muslim veil is forbidden in universities, a place without bombings, unrest, or kidnappings, but its shadow zones are deep and dark. Asma's husband, Bashar al-Assad, was elected president in 2000, after the death of his father, Hafez al-Assad, with a startling 97 percent of the vote. In Syria, power is hereditary. The country's alliances are murky. How close are they to Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah? There are souvenir Hezbollah ashtrays in the souk, and you can spot the Hamas leadership racing through the bar of the Four Seasons. Its number-one enmity is clear: Israel. But that might not always be the case. The United States has just posted its first ambassador there since 2005, Robert Ford.

Iraq is next door, Iran not far away. Lebanon's capital, Beirut, is 90 minutes by car from Damascus. Jordan is south, and next to it the region that Syrian maps label Palestine. There are nearly one million refugees from Iraq in Syria, and another half-million displaced Palestinians.

Comment: And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why the Al-Assads must go and why Syria must be razed to the ground.Can't have principled people not willing to sell out to the Western Order running a free country, now can we?

Vogue, incidentally, removed this article from their website and issued an 'apology' for publishing something contrary to the propaganda dictates of the brutish oligarchs ruling the Western Empire.

Rodrigo Duterte, the outspoken President of the Philippines has by now, most likely, joined the concealed, prestigious and permanent hit list of the Empire.

The hit list is very long; it has already been long for several decades. One could easily lose count and get confused: how many personalities have been marked and secretly condemned to death? How many of them actually died?

It reads like a catalogue of illustrious world leaders: from Patrice Lumumba (Zaire), Mohammad Mosaddegh (Iran), Hugo Chavez (Venezuela), Sukarno (Indonesia), Juvénal Habyarimana (Rwanda), Salvador Allende (Chile) to Muammar Gaddafi (Libya), Al-Basheer (Sudan) and Fidel Castro (Cuba), to name just a very few.

Some were directly assassinated; others were 'only' toppled, while only a handful of 'marked' leaders actually managed to survive and to stay in power.

There were several grave crimes committed by almost all of them, very similar crimes. They include: defending the vital interests of their nations and people, refusing to allow the unbridled plunder of natural resources by multinational corporations, and standing against the principles of imperialism. Simple criticism of the Empire has also been often punishable by death.

The two-day manhunt, spectacular arrest and shocking death of a Syrian terrorism suspect in Germany have attracted a lot of attention and raised a lot of questions.

On October 8, German police raided an apartment in the eastern city of Chemnitz after being tipped off by Germany's domestic intelligence agency. They found 1.5 kilograms of TATP, the explosive of choice for ISIS terrorists, but the target of the raid, a 22-year-old Syrian refugee named Jaber al-Bakr, managed to escape.

Three alleged associates of al-Bakr were detained in connection with the raid, two of whom were later released. A 33-year-old Syrian refugee, identified only as Khalil A., remains in custody. Kahlil A. was renting the Chemnitz apartment where al-Bakr was staying. He is accused of allowing al-Bakr to use his apartment and of ordering bomb-making materials for him online. Security sources referred to the apartment as "a virtual bomb-making lab."1

Comment: Even if we take everything about the official account of al-Bakr and his death at face value, it is utterly damning, as Germann makes clear. Here is a member of the U.S./NATO-backed White Helmets, the U.S./NATO-backed Ahrar al-Sham, and ISIS, who somehow managed to get back into Germany without any documentation, and who planned an attack on German soil. Presumably the only reason he got caught was because some U.S. intelligence agency tipped off the Germans about his communications with ISIS in Syria, perhaps in the hopes of staging a big PR coup for Germany's war on terror. We guess they didn't realize the can of worms they were opening on that one! And conveniently, al-Bakr is now dead.

12 October President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar al-Assad gave an interview to reporter of "Komsomolskaya Pravda" Daria Aslamova. We offer the full version of the interview.
Question 1: Thank you very much, Mr. President. It's a big happiness for me, and I'm very proud. Okay, I will start from my questions. The situation in Syria become more dangerous and more unpredictable. Why? Because this conflict draws inside more participants and more players. For example, who do we have now in Syria in the war? Iran, Lebanon - I mean Hezbollah - Russia, Turkey, USA's huge coalition, China shows interest. I mean, do you have any concerns that this conflict results in a third world war, or maybe it's already beginning of third world war.

President Assad: If we want to talk about the problem, we have to talk about the crux of the problem, the source of the problem; it's the terrorism. And no matter who's interfering in Syria now, the most important thing is who is supporting the terrorists on daily basis, every hour, every day. That is the main problem. If we solve that problem, all this complicated image that you described is not a matter... I mean, it's not a big problem, we can solve the problem. So, it's not about how many countries interfering now, it's about how many countries supporting the terrorists, because Russians, Iran, and Hezbollah are our allies, and they came here legally. They support us against the terrorists, while the other countries that you describe who are interfering, they are supporting the terrorists. So, it's not about the number, it's about the main issue that is terrorism.

Second, it's about world war three. This term has been used recently a lot, especially after the recent escalation regarding the situation in Syria. I would say what we have now, what we've been seeing recently during the last few weeks and maybe few months is something like more than cold war, less than war, a full-blown war. I don't know what to call it, but it's not something that has existed recently, because I don't think that the West and especially the United States has stopped their cold war, even after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

To repeat what al-Assad said of these phony 'sources' cited repeatedly by the mainstream media:
They need somebody to promote any information that suits their agenda, and they promote it as a real one, as a fact, and as you know now, most of the people in the West are brainwashed regarding what's going on in Syria...
He has been saying the exact same things for 5 years. Maybe now, with Russia physically showing the world that was he's saying is true, Westerners might begin to believe him instead of the crooks working for Western intel agencies?

The United States is manipulating humanitarian concern in an effort to protect its proxy militias and its imperial regime-change project in Syria. The media and intellectual classes are dutifully falling in line, promoting a narrative of military aggression under the cover of "protecting civilians." These same "responsibility to protect" arguments led to the invasions of Iraq and Libya, exponentially increasing the massacres, chaos, and proliferation of violent extremism within those countries. They are hypocritical, designed to further interests of conquest and domination, and will lead to more death and destruction in Syria as well.

The United States has no stake in the well being of Syrian civilians, despite their condemnations of Russia's offensive in Aleppo. This is clearly shown in the fact that the people they are supporting are guilty of the same crimes they accuse Russia and Syria of: indiscriminate attacks, targeting of civilians, destruction of schools, hospitals, etc. Furthermore, the offensive in Aleppo is really no different from what the US did in Manbij, where they are said to have incorporated a "scorched earth policy" while they liberated the city from ISIS, whereby the civilian population was treated "as if they were terrorists or ISIS supporters." Arguably their conduct was even worse, as they there earned the distinction of launching the deadliest single airstrike on civilians out of the entire 5-year conflict, massacring at least 73 where no ISIS fighters were present. The Manbij operation elicited no moral outcry from the media and punditry, understandably since these were "unworthy victims" given that they were our victims and not those of our enemies. The same can be said about the US operations in Kobani and Fallujah, whereby the entire towns were essentially reduced to rubble without any uproar.

The plight of civilians in western Aleppo, often targeted by rebels, is almost unknown to mainstream viewers. Five children were killed in the govt-controlled part of the city on Thursday, but the attack didn't get much notice from rights groups or the US.

A school and adjacent bus stop were hit by mortar shells in the Al-Suleymaniya neighborhood of Aleppo. Two children died on the spot and three others later in the hospital.

"Anxious relatives and parents cried and shouted and cursed the rebels and their backers," RT's Murad Gazdiev reported from the Al Razi Hospital, where the victims were taken.

"They were just schoolchildren, my pupils," their teacher told RT.

While filming at the hospital, the RT crew saw the appalling aftermath of indiscriminate fire in western Aleppo. Ten-year-old boy Hassan, born deaf and mute, lost a foot in shelling two days ago, but survived.

ISIS and Al-Nusra snipers ensconced in Eastern Aleppo are deliberately shooting at civilians trying to escape, letting no one out, local residents told RT's Murad Gazdiev. The snipers also frequently attempt to shoot at civilians, children included, in the government-controlled Western Aleppo, and randomly fire missiles into the area.

An RT crew has been to the front line inside the embattled city and brought back the grim picture of what it takes to live there.

The US government is steadfastly refusing to attack Nusra (al-qaeda in Syria) and ISIS because these two terrorist groups form the back bone of the US jihadi army that the US government has been using for the past 5 years to overthrow the democratically-elected Syrian government.
