Best of the Web: Trump campaign manager: 'Special prosecutor for Hillary Clinton in due time'

Hillary Clinton jail
Donald Trump's campaign manager, speaking on MSNBC, said appointing a special prosecutor for Hillary Clinton can't be ruled out, adding that discussion regarding the issue will happen "in due time." Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence are "looking to unify the country, but we haven't discussed that in recent days, and I think that it's all in due time," campaign manager Kellyanne Conway told MSNBC in an interview, as quoted by Reuters.

Trump did not bring up the issue when speaking on the phone with Clinton overnight, the campaign manager added in a separate interview for ABC. During his campaign, Trump said that if he wins, Clinton might end up with a special prosecutor looking into "her situation." "If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation. Because there have never been so many lies, so much deception," he said at one of the rallies.

Comment: A Hillary Clinton presidency would have guaranteed the continuation of all the things the New World Order wanted to have done.

Flashback Best of the Web: Land of the free? New reports shows the US ranks dead last in electoral integrity

voting in america
As if further proof could possibly be needed of the sorry state of the American electoral process, a new study just ranked the United States dead last in electoral integrity among established Western democracies.

The Electoral Integrity Project (EIP)'s 2015 Year in Elections report is an independent research project by 2,000 elections experts from Harvard University and the University of Sydney in Australia assembled to examine the world's elections.

The EIP states that "the core notion of 'electoral integrity' refers to agreed international principles and standards of elections, applying universally to all countries worldwide throughout the electoral cycle, including during the pre-electoral period, the campaign, and on polling day and its aftermath. Conversely, 'electoral malpractice' refers to violations of electoral integrity."

Comment: Everyone should have the right to participate in sham elections. That's just democratic. It's also a gigantic waste of time.

Best of the Web: Tufts Professor: 'Vote all you want, the secret government won't change'

Image
The people we elect aren't the ones calling the shots, says Tufts University's Michael Glennon

The voters who put Barack Obama in office expected some big changes. From the NSA's warrantless wiretapping to Guantanamo Bay to the Patriot Act, candidate Obama was a defender of civil liberties and privacy, promising a dramatically different approach from his predecessor.

But six years into his administration, the Obama version of national security looks almost indistinguishable from the one he inherited. Guantanamo Bay remains open. The NSA has, if anything, become more aggressive in monitoring Americans. Drone strikes have escalated. Most recently it was reported that the same president who won a Nobel Prize in part for promoting nuclear disarmament is spending up to $1 trillion modernizing and revitalizing America's nuclear weapons.

Why did the face in the Oval Office change but the policies remain the same? Critics tend to focus on Obama himself, a leader who perhaps has shifted with politics to take a harder line. But Tufts University political scientist Michael J. Glennon has a more pessimistic answer: Obama couldn't have changed policies much even if he tried.

Best of the Web: The seven Furies challenging the Western Empire: China, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Philippines, Yemen and populist movements everywhere

furies
The Furies take on the scourge of the American Empire.
'Nemesis, Winged balancer of life, dark-faced goddess, daughter of Justice'

Introduction

Seven is a winning throw of the dice. But in our civil society, seven now signifies the multi-thong scourge, the whip used by the Western world as its instrument of punishment and, in response; seven signifies Nemesis and her sisters, the inescapable agents of the West's downfall.

The seven scourges of the Western world are used against the people of Asia, Africa, Latin and North America. These whips are constructed, wielded and unleashed especially by the US and the UK.

The seven sisters of Nemesis, the Erinyes, are the Furies who pursue the injustices committed by the Western world against Asia, Latin America, Africa and Europe. Those holding the scourge detest and fear Nemesis and the Furies, but are incapable of destroying them. Try as they might, their whip is in corrupt and feeble hands and, of course, it can only follow their orders: Otherwise, it just twitches and remains immobile, while Nemesis pursues the scourgers of humanity.

Flashback Best of the Web: 60% of Americans can't stand Trump or Clinton

hillary clinton and trump evil face off

Good news, disillusioned American voters! You're not alone; in fact, you're in the majority...

If most voters reject all candidates, what does that mean for the central tenet of democracy, that the majority rules?

Will Democracy henceforth mean 'rule of the minority'?

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton are both disliked or even hated by nearly 60 percent of Americans, a new poll has found.

According to the latest NBC News/SurveyMonkey tracking poll which was published on Tuesday, 37 percent of the participants said they "dislike" Clinton while 39 percent had the same feeling about Trump.

This is while 21 percent said they "hate" the former first lady and 24 percent expressed the same sentiment toward the New York businessman.

In terms of support among voters, Clinton led Trump by a small 4-point margin, 47 percent to 43 percent.

The poll's findings highlight the two candidates' issue of favorability among voters after another ABC News suggested earlier this week that they were the least popular candidates to ever run for the White House.

Comment: American 'democracy': the institution that empowers the scum of the earth to rise up to the top in all their scum-like glory. The majority of Americans can't stand either of these creatures, yet one will be the next president. How absurd! If over the past decade any Americans have held out in their faith of this deeply corrupt system, perhaps this election season will finally cure them of their fantastical delusions.

Best of the Web: John Pilger interviews Julian Assange: 'Russia not source of Clinton leaks' (full transcript, VIDEO)

John Pilger Julian Assange

Whistleblower Julian Assange has given one of his most incendiary interviews ever in a John Pilger Special, courtesy of Dartmouth Films, in which he summarizes what can be gleaned from the tens of thousands of Clinton emails released by WikiLeaks this year.

John Pilger, another Australian émigré, conducted the 25-minute interview at the Ecuadorian Embassy, where Assange has been trapped since 2012 for fear of extradition to the US. Last month, Assange had his internet access cut off for alleged "interference" in the American presidential election through the work of his website.

'Clinton made FBI look weak, now there is anger'

John Pilger: What's the significance of the FBI's intervention in this last week of the US election campaign in the case against Hillary Clinton?

Julian Assange: If you go to the history of the FBI, it has become effectively America's political police. And the FBI demonstrated with taking down the former head of the CIA over classified information given to his mistress [that] almost no one was untouchable. The FBI is always trying to demonstrate that, "No one can resist us." But Hillary Clinton very conspicuously resisted the FBI's investigation. So, there is anger within the FBI because it made the FBI look weak. Well, we have published quite a number of different sets of emails, so, about 33,000 of Clinton's emails while she was Secretary of State. They come from a batch of just over 60,000 emails. In those 60,000 emails, Clinton has kept about half, 30,000, to herself, and we have published about half. And then there are the Podesta emails we've been publishing. Podesta is Hillary Clinton's primary campaign manager. So, there's a thread that runs through all of these emails. There is quite a lot of "pay for play," as they call it - taking... giving access in exchange for money for many individual states, individuals and corporations - combined with the cover-up of Hillary Clinton's emails while she was Secretary of State has led to an environment where the pressure on the FBI increases.

Best of the Web: Sickos: Wikileaks reveals Podesta bros participate in disturbing, occult-themed "spirit cooking" involving copious bodily fluids?

Marina Abramovic podesta
Voters might want to see this before heading out to the polls on November 8th.

It's being called the "most bizarre Wikileaks email to date."

A leaked email from Clinton campaign manager John Podesta shows John's brother Tony inviting John and his wife Mary to take part in a "spirit cooking" dinner at the home of occult "artist" Marina Abramovic.

"Dear Tony, I am so looking forward to the Spirit Cooking dinner at my place," Abramovic wrote June 28, 2015 in an email sent to Tony Podesta. "Do you think you will be able to let me know if your brother is joining?"

Tony forwarded the message to his brother on the same day, writing:
Are you in NYC Thursday July 9
Marina wants you to come to dinner
Mary?
While you might assume spirit cooking to be something having to do with Native Americans, it's actually some weirdo sex magick involving buckets of blood and the consuming of all manners of human bodily fluids.

Comment: Wikileaks confirmed to journalist Craig Murray that the email is not a joke:
murray spirit cooking
Might put this story in context: Large number of FBI agents view Killary as the "antichrist personified"

It's damage control time: No, John Podesta's Spirit Cooking Dinner Wasn't About Devil Worship. According to Ms. Katie Pavlich at Townhall, there's nothing to it. Abramovic just invited the Podesta's over for a promotional dinner for her Spirit Cooking cookbook.
Second, this dinner was about a "cookbook" and weird art, not devil worship. [SOTT: Says who?]

Marina Abramovic is an artist (a strange, extreme artist) and published a "cookbook" called Spirit Cooking in 1996. The "cookbook" was featured at New York City's MoMa art museum. She was hosting a dinner at her home promoting the "cookbook" and invited the Podestas.
...
The dinner likely included a real dinner and Abramovic giving a presentation of her "art." [SOTT: What, you don't know for sure?]
So the dinner was about a "cookbook" Abramovic published 20 years ago? Gee, that sounds plausible. And no, the "cookbook" wasn't featured at MoMa, at least not according to their website. The only exhibition she had there in 2015 featured her "Transmissions" art series, and started on September 5, three months after the emails in question. The only good point she makes is that "we have no proof Podesta did or did not attend the dinner." But the very fact that Tony knew her and seemed geared up to go speaks volumes.

And lest readers think Abramovic is just another strange artist, check out the tweets above, and below:

Best of the Web: Former British Ambassador: DNC, Podesta leaks 'come from within official Washington circles'

Hillary Clinton with advisors

According to former British ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray, the now infamous Podesta and Democratic National Committee emails were not leaked by Russian hackers, but by a Washington insider.

In an exclusive interview with Sputnik, Mr. Murray said:

"The source of these emails and leaks has nothing to do with Russia at all. I discovered what the source was when I attended the Sam Adam's whistleblower award in Washington. The source of these emails comes from within official circles in Washington DC. You should look to Washington not to Moscow."

Best of the Web: Pepe Escobar - The real November surprise

Hillary Clinton
© AFP 2016/Brendan SmialowskiDemocratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton speaks to supporters at Craig Ranch Regional Park Amphitheater after the final presidential debate at the University of Nevada October 19, 2016 in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
"As bad as it is the folks above the President make the decisions. They may have decided on Trump. These things do not happen by accident."

Thus spoke a high-level US business mover and shaker with secure transit in rarified Masters of the Universe-related circles, amidst the utter political chaos provoked by head of the FBI James Comey's latest bombshell.

It's virtually established by now that US Attorney General Loretta Lynch told Comey not to release his letter to Congress. But Comey did it anyway. If he had not, and a scandal would - inevitably - spring up after the US presidential election, Lynch would be perfectly positioned to deny she knew anything, and Comey would be on the firing line.

Lynch is a certified Clinton machine asset. In 1999 then-President Bill Clinton appointed her to run the Brooklyn US Attorney's office. She left in 2002, taking the private practice revolving door. She was back to the Brooklyn office in 2010, urged by Obama. Five years later she became the 83rd US Attorney General, replacing the dodgy Eric Holder.

A plausible case has been made that Comey took his fateful decision based on a serious internal revolt at the FBI - led by key people he trusts — as well as being egged-on by his wife.

Yet one of the key questions that refuse to go away is why the FBI waited until 11 days before the US presidential election to supposedly "find" an email trove on certified sexting pervert Anthony Weiner's laptop.

Comment: The bottom line for the Establishment: faith in the US system and global faith in the dollar.

Assuming he does have majority support, a Trump victory would have the same placating effect as Obama's election in '08 (though significantly watered down).

In the meantime, after decades of exploiting fracture lines in foreign countries, the fracture lines in the US come apart with each crisis.

Clinton (and her key supporters in the Establishment) is not going to go quietly.
