Radio blackouts disrupted communications, and high-energy fluxes increased significantly, leading to heightened seismic activity, intensified rainfall patterns, and atmospheric instability worldwide.
November saw notable volcanic and seismic activity, including eruptions at Kilauea in Hawaii and Hayli Gubbi in Ethiopia, alongside heavy rainfall that triggered widespread landslides and flooding in Southeast Asia and Africa.
Typhoons affected the Philippines and Vietnam, leading to massive evacuations. Severe hailstorms and unseasonal cold snaps impacted various regions, while meteor fireball sightings continue to increase globally.
Volcanic eruptions disrupted local areas and air quality:
- Hayli Gubbi, Ethiopia: Erupted for the first time in 10,000 years on November 24, producing massive ash plumes.
- Kīlauea, Hawaii: Eruption episode 36 on November 10 featured lava fountains reaching 1,100 feet.
- Semeru, Indonesia: Sent ash over 6,500 feet into the sky on November 19, posing risks to aviation.
- Sakurajima, Japan: Erupted on November 16, spewing ash up to 4,400 meters.
- Taal Volcano, Philippines: Erupted on November 12, accompanied by seven earthquakes.
- Northern Afghanistan: A magnitude 6.3 earthquake on November 3 killed at least 20 people.
- Bangladesh: A shallow magnitude 5.5 earthquake on November 23 killed 9 and injured hundreds.
- Northwest of Anchorage, Alaska: A magnitude 6.0 earthquake on November 27.
- Philippines: More than a million evacuated on November 9 as Typhoon Fung-wong approached; Typhoon Kalmaegi killed at least 5 in Vietnam on November 7.
- Thailand: Heavy flooding in 15 provinces left 13 dead by November 7; additional flooding affected 103 communities by November 21.
- Australia (South-East Queensland): Giant hail on November 1 caused injuries and damage to vehicles and homes.
- Northern Spain: Heavy snowfall on November 22 led to plummeting temperatures as low as -10°C.
- Eastern Europe: Severe early cold and heavy snow on November 28-29 caused disruptions.
- Southern Brazil: A rare tornado on November 9 killed 6 and injured hundreds.
- Near Houston, USA: A tornado on November 24 damaged over 100 homes.

Gracious me - the weather is fickle ain't it!

But sons of bitches - even if it is cold there is work needs to be done - now is there not.
Thank goodness my chickens are so cold tolerant - even the day it went down to one digit in the scale of Fahrenheit, they were out there wandering around - so I felt compelled to throw them some food - they really like bread - and those "raptors" - hells-bells they are ferocious fought each other for the food I threw down. And I'm happy to report - just the other day - found the first egg layed - oh my - everybody ought have some chickens in their yard - their eggs are easy protein - just don't piss them off - they will peck you to death if you do!

The weather is fixing to warm up where I reside - what about you?

Happy solstice - north and south!

It was most cold in the midwest area - and in Minnesota especially - gonna stay that way I reckon for awhile - but a little to the east and down south from that - hell no.
