These sequences can be highly deformed and metamorphosed, often forming tectonic mixtures or mélange, particularly in regions with repeated tectonic activity. In some cases, such as the Naga Hills and Andaman Islands in India, ophiolite belts are associated with subduction processes and post-collisional tectonics, including transcurrent faulting and Neogene-Quaternary volcanism. From the same source (edited for context): There could be other explanation for iridium present, but so far at least this seems a story plausible - in contrast to all the quantum physicist talking bout black holes and such - mathematical constructs of the mind can't be proven - this can be proven - cause it is really physical.
I mean the New River emanates out of North Carolina - in the hills to the west but the land there is old and weathered and Iridium - does it migrate?
