An Arctic blast brought several intense winter storms and heavy snowfall to northern Europe, causing widespread disruption and travel delays. Countries such as Sweden, Finland, and parts of the Alps saw significant snow accumulations, with some areas receiving up to 27 inches (70 cm) of snow.

Meanwhile, Ukraine experienced record-breaking snowfall, with some areas seeing up to 31 inches (79 cm) of snow. This extreme weather event was driven by a powerful cold front that swept across the region, causing road closures, power outages, and challenges for transportation and emergency services.

The heavy snowfall also had a significant impact on agriculture and infrastructure, affecting rural areas already struggling with the consequences of the military conflict.

The northwestern United States was struck by a powerful and rapidly intensifying bomb cyclone that brought severe weather conditions that caused significant damage across British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and California. With wind gusts up to 101 miles per hour and widespread flooding, the cyclone caused widespread power outages affecting more than 953,000 families. Authorities in San Diego, California, dubbed it the "storm of a thousand years" due to the record rainfall and widespread damage throughout the region.

The central United States also got its share of extreme weather with a series of devastating tornado outbreaks that swept across Texas, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Florida. The tornadoes caused extensive damage to homes, businesses, and infrastructure and resulted in numerous injuries and deaths. The intensity and frequency of this outbreak were unusual for this time of year, highlighting the increasing volatility of weather patterns.

The northern coast of Israel experienced record-breaking rainfall, with 7.7 inches (196 millimeters) of rain falling in just four hours in Zikhron Yaacov. The event set a new national record and accounted for nearly 60% of the region's average annual rainfall. The sudden deluge overwhelmed local drainage systems, causing severe flooding in areas such as Ma'agan Michael and Hof HaCarmel.

Southeast Asia experienced severe monsoon flooding, primarily affecting Thailand and Malaysia. Heavy rains caused by the northeast monsoon led to widespread devastation, affecting more than 640,000 households in Thailand and displacing 152,000 people in Malaysia. The floods caused significant damage to infrastructure, homes, and agricultural land, resulted in at least 19 deaths, and prompted extensive rescue and relief efforts.
