Dwoods44 Shangri I believe Dr. Mitchell mentioned institutions more broadly, of which corporations could be one type, and that if they can reaffirm their raison d'etre that can help strengthen them to ward off or weed out bad influence. So it's not just corporations and mission statements, though that's one example.

Note that the principle guiding western corporations has become "to maximize profits". This has had the effect of making them into something like psychopathic pirate ships. If it were reaffirmed that their raison d'etre were to produce valuable goods and services while making a decent profit (say by industry they set a minimum % ROI goal, instead of maximization), corporate would look a lot different than it does now.

What protects people from predators and manipulation? My focus has been seeing manipulation and understanding how it works. What makes people susceptible to manipulation?
