hobnyeba It's quite simple. They probably aren't doing the bullsh*t paying of hospitals and states for every crooked corona patient, not testing death bed cancer patients and stamping covid on their death certificates like we are, etc.

One particular value that stands out as being a highly significant variable to any social equation is the concept of free will. There is an undeniable and clear correlation between the relative value apportioned to freedom of the individual and societal advancements. More importantly, I believe our intelligent designer has stacked the harmony deck in favour of those who are free to maintain social cohesion. within socially tolerable moral and ethical boundaries.
Periods of enlightenment through-out history dove-tail with a commensurate increase in opportunity to express as an individual.
