Odds are that a 5 year old girl would NOT have the same upper body strength as a 5 year old boy. That's a FACT and all the 'gender neutrality' in the world will never change it.
Likewise, more boys are born that girl, but by age ~7, there are more girls, simply because boys are different than girls, and more 'exploratory.' That ain't social programming, it's simple physiological fact.
ALL male primates are SIGNIFICANTLY stronger and bigger (on average/mean/bell curve). Contra animals where the female must be larger to bear young, such as spiders...or Eagles. (Latter have relatively HUGE eggs.)*
