nuclear power plant
In late November of 2015, surveillance footage of a high-ranking nuclear official was found in the apartment of a suspect linked to the Paris attacks. What use ISIS could make of this footage is questionable, but its use for those pursuing a strategy of tension across Europe has become plain to see: Belgium's nuclear power plants are at risk - be terrified.

This is nothing new. Belgium's power plants have a history of being hacked into, shut down, and tampered with. German officials have complained that Belgium's nuclear power plants are 'falling to bits' while their constituents have been justifiably outraged over the sites' numerous failures. The 'incompetence' levels are so high that a former employee who "defected" to ISIS, fought in Syria, then got himself convicted on terrorism charges in 2014, has already been set free. In that very same plant, an unidentified man was able to simply walk up, turn a knob, drain 65,000 liters of oil, and shut down the entire plant for 5 months. With Chernobyl and Fukushima simmering in the mass psyche, this really doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. And, of course, one wonders if this isn't exactly the point.

Because now we see the headline on RT: Guard at 'terror target' Belgian nuclear site killed, access badge stolen - media
A security officer at a nuclear site was killed in the Belgian city of Charleroi two days after the terror attacks in Brussels, local newspaper Derniere Heure reported, citing police sources. The paper added that the man's security pass was stolen.
A vague and looming threat of 'nuclear catastrophe' is a sure-fire way to increase tensions in Europe. With the reports of this murder coming so quickly after the Brussels attacks, with their many 9/11 parallels, it seems that someone is very interested in stressing Europe to the max. Not Europe's politicians, mind you, but the ordinary people of Europe.

Further in the RT article we find this interesting tidbit:
Shortly after the deadly Brussels attacks, personnel from Belgium's two nuclear power stations in Doel and in Tihange were promptly evacuated. DH also reported that soldiers have been seen at both sites in recent weeks.
After the Brussels attacks, many 'non-essential' employees were stripped of their access badges and security was increased. Soldiers were spotted around the plants for weeks. However, despite these changes, a security guard was found murdered and his access badge stolen. What are we to make of this? One wonders if, among these unidentified soldiers who were seen around the plants for weeks in advance of the attacks, there were some whose orders were not to protect. It would certainly not be difficult for those with the assets and the connections to order such a hit.

It sounds a lot like the Strategy of Tension.
Silvia Cattori: You have talked about an important emotional factor in the strategy of tension. Therefore, the terror, whose origin is vague, uncertain, the fear that it causes, all that helps to manipulate the public opinion. Are we not assisting today to the same kind of procedure? Yesterday, we fuelled the fear of communism, today aren't we fuelling the fear of Islam?

Daniele Ganser: Yes, there is a very clear parallel. During the planning of the war in Iraq, it was said that Saddam Hussein had biological weapons in his possession, that there was a link between Iraq and the Al-Qaeda terrorists. But none of that turned out to be true. By means of these lies, it was intended to make people believe that Muslims wanted to spread terrorism all around, and that this war was necessary to fight against terror. However, the true reason for this war is the control of energy resources. This is due to the fact that the geology, the richness in gas and oil, are concentrated in the Muslim countries. He who wants to monopolize them, must hide behind this type of manipulations.
Following the Brussels attacks, Israeli official Ofir Akunis spared no time in lecturing the EU for labelling "Israeli" goods that are produced in the Palestinian areas occupied by Israel. These justified actions in exposing Israeli Apartheid in Palestine were, for him, a major factor behind the bombings because they distracted European officials from the 'terror threat'. With characteristic disrespect for the dead, he wasted no time in making the political point that all Arabs are subhuman terrorist scum. This, despite the fact that Arabs are the ones doing the real legwork required to defeat terrorism, while European officials allow nuclear employees-turned ISIS fanatics to run wild and Israeli officials dream of the day when ISIS would overrun Syria.

With the disturbing possibility of Israeli security company connivance in the Brussels attacks, the recent murder of a Belgian nuclear plant security guard and the theft of his clearance card is certainly a powerful message to the higher ups in the EU - something along the lines of: "remember who's calling the shots here".
