A majority of Jewish Israelis said they support the statement that "any Palestinian who has perpetrated a terror attack against Jews should be killed on the spot, even if he has been apprehended and no longer poses a threat," a recent Peace Index poll by the Israel Democracy Institute shows.

"The Jewish public is showing a very high and worrisome level of support for attacks on Arab perpetrators, and as we have already had occasion to realize, in moments of anxiety and confusion there is no great ability to distinguish between a perpetrator and a non-perpetrator," the October 2015 Israel Peace Index reads. Moreover, the great majority of the Jewish public, 80 percent according to the poll, agrees that the family home of a Palestinian who has murdered Jews in an act of terrorism should be demolished.
Comment: Maybe this number is so high because they're already demolishing Palestinian homes, but there's certainly no justice or morality in taking such a stance; more like using the deaths as an excuse for cruelty, violence, and continued land theft.
On the other hand, more than a half (53 percent) of the Jewish interviewees appeared ready to support similar measures applied to a Jewish terrorist who murdered a Palestinian because of their background.
Adding to this, 70 percent of Jews believe Israeli courts punish Palestinians who have been convicted of carrying out terror attacks too lightly.
In the recent tide of violence and protests, which began one month ago, more than seventy Palestinians have been killed, mainly during violent protests, along with 11 Israelis, who were mostly stabbing victims.
Is this what we all face, a rapidly accelerating descent into a feral world.
Where everything different is to be feared, hated and if at all possible destroyed.
Where even those close to you may turn on you if it's to their benefit.
...
Perhaps that is the world that mankind deserves, but it's not one that I wish to live in.
