On the Namibian east coast in windy location called Lüderitzbucht one used to be able to pick that which is known
Desert Rose.
It is a fusion of salt, sand and wind and it is glass (crystal) and deep green. It is termed "Rose' as it looks like a rose opening. The fascinating thing is that it grows and continues to grow if left alone in the sand.
It does not need heat as I believe the Libyan glass also does not need.
It is discs which are intertwined at different angles. Anybody want a photo? A pity I cant post one here.
There is no more as it has all been picked and sold as tourist take homes.
