Date of Sighting: 9th July 2009
Time: approx 4am
Witness Statement: A bright light awoke me, which at first I thought was a very bright star. I realised that it was too large for this (about 4 x the size of a star) and appeared triangular in shape, with some clouds were going behind it. There were also no other visible stars in the sky. It was stationary and my husband and I observed it for approx 20 mins.
It was quite low in the sky, south east of Swanmore.

Witness Statement: I live in Southend Essex and I was outside having a smoke about 9.30pm last night and noticed an orange bright light thought it was a helicopter coming towards me from the west then it got closer but didn't make a sound so I thought wtf is it? So I called my wife to come and have a look. When she saw the "thing in the sky" it started to zig zag and then turned sharply to go towards the south, but still no sound but a bright orange light. I can't explain what it was "but if it was a plane or helicopter, there would be a sound and what ever direction they fly there light point in the direction they go in." Then i went to get my telescope to see if I could see what it was. By that time its lights had gone out, but managed to see through my telescope on for a few seconds and it looked like a shuttlecock!!!!
On June 25, 2009, we were driving from Colorado to the St Louis, Missouri area at 11 25 PM. We were heading East on I-70 in Kansas. We were driving a 4 door Infiniti sedan G20, so we could see all of the way around our vehicle without obstruction.
We just passed mile marker 25. It was a very clear dark night - not a cloud in the sky, we could see for miles. There were off in the distance, several antenna type (red lights) flashing sequentially, continuously in unison. We commented on the red lights and was wondering why so many antenna were in the area.
While traveling approximately 70 mph heading East bound, we witnessed a flash of light to our right near the outside of our car. It seemed to be just above the height of the car, off in the distance about 20 feet out from the car behind the passenger head / shoulder area.
Ottawa Little Theatre's resident ghost "Martha" is up to her old tricks again after a fire alarm went off inside the building on Canada Day.
Over the years, theatre staff have reported strange and unexplained disturbances, along with a few sightings of Martha. It's believed the theatre is haunted because a tombstone bearing the name "Martha" was discovered after the excavation of the King Edward Avenue site's original building, which once housed Eastern Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Wednesday night, Ottawa firefighters arrived at the theatre and found no evidence of a break-in or fire. The fire alarm is in a backstage staircase where, years ago, Martha's partially broken tombstone was unearthed.
The plot thickens, as Wednesday's false fire alarm came 39 years to the day after a devastating blaze destroyed the original theatre building.
For years, Britain's biggest UFO mystery had been kept under wraps, but now an Air Force official has admitted that an "extra-terrestrial" craft did visit the air base at Rendlesham Forest in 1980.
Former Deputy Base Commander Col Charles Halt claimed that even though the incident was later covered up, "extra-terrestrials" had been the cause of the close encounter in Suffolk.
Halt had led a group of airmen who reported seeing a triangular UFO taking off into the air, leaving traces of radiation behind.
"The UFOs I saw were structured machines moving under intelligent control and operating beyond the realm of anything I have ever seen before or since," the Daily Star quoted Col Halt, now retired, as telling investigator Gary Heseltine.
For more than three hours it floated above homes in Boca Raton: a neon-green light that no one could explain.
"It's nothing like I've ever seen in my life," said Mark Smith, 19.
Smith and his friends went outside about 9 p.m. Monday where they saw it: a glowing object about the size of a football. Smith said it was oblong and hovered about 200 or 300 feet in the air above a neighbor's home in the Palm Beach Farms neighborhood. The skies were clear. There was no wind. They called police and followed it around.

Location of Sighting: Newton, Illinois (E. Illinois About 50 Miles WSW of Terre Haute, IN)
Description: On Monday July 6th I saw 4 bright lights in the shape of a diamond flying southeast of my house located near Newton, Illinois. There was no noise and the lights were not blinking. This is the first time that I have ever seen anything like this. The shape never changed from diamond/and stayed very bright for the whole time. The lights went across sky for 15 seconds before disappearing behind the tree line. The object was moving southeast also.

Location of Sighting: On Boat in Lake Michigan Harbor in Chicago, Illinois)
Description: The witness called and reported the sighting within 24 hours of occurrence. He stated that he was looking at the sky from his boat. He saw a large rectangular grid of lights moving through the sky towards the southeast. The rectangular lights approached for a second time and repeated the southeast movement. He could see the lights moving in unison through mid-level clouds. He felt that the lights were "scanning." No sound was heard.

Witness Statement: When drawing the curtains I noticed a light in the sky, it was a dark night, cloudy and no stars visible. Got binoculars out and saw clearly diamond shape object with 3 blue lights and 3 white lights. Went to bed, could not sleep it was still there 30mins later, I don't believe in this sort of thing but my son was so amazed that I would even say this that he suggested put it on the net.

Witness Statement: In our friends garden in St Peters having BBQ spotted a bright orange light. I thought it was a helicopter at first as it traveled at the same sort of speed and altitude then realised helicopter lights aren't orange. I pointed them out to my neighbours and we watched it go into the distance Northwards. It was a flat oval shape and seemed to have 3 or four lights together and they were, it seemed, electrical not like a glowing light. Then a few minutes later another one same again went in the same sort of direction. We didn't have time to film them on phone cameras. We watched them and my neighbour made a comment about her husband seeing lights over head before.
