England: Second witness saw 'bright orange UFO'

More witnesses have described seeing a UFO shooting across the borough's skies after last week's report in the Times.

Self-confessed sceptic Gary Carson, 52, of Haywood Road, Bromley, got in contact after reading about a couple, Myles Archer and his wife, who witnessed the same bright orange disc hover for a few minutes before whisking itself away over houses on August 22.

Company secretary Mr Carson has seen the UFO on two occasions, the first time was around three weeks ago and the second time was the night after the Archers, on August 23.

Chupacabra: blood-sucking mythical beast 'found in Texas'

Two men in Texas believe they may have discovered the body of a chupacabra - a mythical beast rumoured to suck all the blood out of its prey.

Lynn Butler, a taxidermist, says that he found the mystery creature's corpse in a chicken barn three months ago, the morning after an unseen predator was heard running amock.

While its hairless, leathery body and pointed muzzle resemble a dog with severe mange, other animal experts who have inspected the corpse have suggested it may be a chupacabra, a predator first sighted in Puerto Rico in 1995.

Date of Sighting: 13th July 2009
Time: 0003 am

Witness Statement: I woke up just after midnight needing to use the bathroom and looked out of my bedroom window and noticed a largish orange light moving slowly above the trees.I continued to watch the light move slowly and went into the sitting room to get a better look thinking it was perhaps a plane and noticed their was no anti collision lights flashing and that the orange light was all the way around so that seemed to rule out the head lights of a plane.

Time: approx 11.45pm

Witness Statement: I was on my own for the evening as my husband was away with my son on his stag night. I had just completed my workout & went into the garden for a cool down at approx 11.45pm. I had previously noticed through out the evening through my conservatory window that the North star was extremely bright & had expected the sky to be clear due to this. As I stepped out the Star was covered by a large fast moving cloud. I waited for the cloud to disperse so I could have a look at the star & was surprised to see that the sky was full of clouds with the odd spaces between.

I waited for a bit & did a 360 degree looking around the sky & could see twinkling of far off stars in between the gaps & the odd one or two that were moving which I assumed were commercial night flights. Now I need to tell you that I should wear contacts & didn't have any in at the time (there is a point to this comment which I will come to further on when relevant) there was nothing much eventful to see & as it was quite cool, I started to return to the conservatory to watch for the visibility of the north star at the door once the clouds had cleared. The star became visible & I noted that it was where it should be & hadn't moved from the position it had been five mins ago. Then I got the biggest shock of my life. Where the clouds had moved passed the star & were further to the north, between that cloud & one further north in the gap of these two was the biggest white circular object with 5 large round lights underneath.

Witness Statement: I have just been walking my dog, very clear night, no clouds. I noticed flying west to east a triangular shape object illuminated throughout and markedly a light on each corner. The object was very high, no flashing lights. The object was flying in an arc and appeared at first flying very slowly, then accelerated away; the light faded to just a small red ball in the distance. Approximately 30 seconds later a second object appeared from the same direction and more or less the same height. The object then just dropped in height and the size appeared doubled!

Witness Statement: My father was standing on the balcony of our flat enjoying a cigarette and called me over pointing towards a large object in the sky that was spherical in shape and extremely bright (red). As we watched it hover for several minutes I told him that I had seen the same object a few weeks before and watched it for several minutes before it vanished totally into thin air. This time the object hovered before flying in a very controlled manner from right to left, disappeared downwards behind some buildings in the distance and then appeared again on the right side before going down once more. It did not rise again after that.

England: Whitchurch, Bristol - Two circular objects with pulsing colored lights spotted

Witness Statement: A few days ago I made a report of seeing a bright white pulsating light moving fast at right angles, which was the first time I have seen anything like it. Well last night my mum called me to come and look at what she was seeing. The object was circular and pulsating red, blue, green light, it was stationary at first but then moved slowly right then straight up higher. Then I noticed about a mile apart there was another one exactly the same pulsating colours. Then as we looked back to the original object directly below it a bright pulsating white light appeared, moved to the right below it for about 30 seconds then turned off like a light bulb and immediately came back on pulsating red, blue, green like the others, then shot off at high speed and disappeared.

Witness Statement: We were in our car coming home from a day out when we noticed something in the sky, it was thin and long and had needle like spikes coming out the top. It left a thick black smoke trail and vanished into the horizon. It could of been a weird aircraft but I'm sure it wasn't!!

Date of Sighting: Sunday 23rd August
Time: 6 am- 7am

Witness Statement: It looked like 2 meteorites heading downwards at a five o'clock angle visible to the North East with a smoke tail behind. This was at around 6am. Within 10 minutes the sky was filled with aircraft, over a dozen some leaving contrails, two jets leaving long chemical trails. Several craft headed directly North East and were silent and left no trail at all. All planes seemed to be heading or situated to the West. Could it all be related?
