WOW I cannot believe what I saw. I never care about this.... I was out with my girlfriend taken the dog to poo, and I start watching a light. I said, "Oh Look a planet." It was red and started turning blue it was really similar to a large star but it became to turn like a diamond and it change from red to blue then to green and it gets more intense so we saw the edge of the strange object. I can't believe so I run to the enter of my village. I call the security guy to come out and see it. He was trying to laugh but minutes later he turn really scared. Then I take out my phone so I can take a pic and it was totally blocked.

It sat still for ten minutes then out of nowhere made a sharp right turn and took off faster then anything I've ever seen
We were sitting on our deck at 12:30 am when we saw two very bright lights in a place where we've never seen lights before. It appeared to hover for approximately ten minutes which was enough time for me to smoke two cigarettes and to find our binoculars. Next it had made a very sharp right turn and took off faster than anything I've ever seen in my life. We looked at it through our binoculars and it had not resembled anything we've ever seen in our life. It definitely had not resembled a plane of any kind or a helicopter. There was absolutely no sound whatsoever.

My family and I were sitting on the beach at Salter Path, North Carolina. I noticed what I thought was a very bright star, but it was moving and appeared to be blinking.
It was followed for about 15 seconds by a smaller looking red dot, which disappeared. The first star-like object was making very erratic movements, which appeared to be twirling.
It came close enough to shore that I could make out the outline of a disc-shaped object which was clearly spinning, with red and white lights around the edges of the middle section of the disc.
The UFO then flew further away, but we could still see the light from it which seemed to blink from the rotation of the craft.
A young man from Crawley says he's had a genuine close encounter of the third kind - and it certainly didn't involve Chinese lanterns.
With the festive, glowing orbs - popular at weddings and summer parties - being blamed for many a UFO sighting, Josh Woodburn believes what he saw was the real deal.
He said: "I was with a friend in Horsham and driving home, I didn't see it at first, it was my friend, he saw this kind of quite bright pink shape that was like darting about.
"I tried to find somewhere to park up to see it, I got out of the car and ran out into the fields.

Witness Statement: We were sat out in the garden and from west to east traveled a orange glowing ball. Planes fly over day & night but this was in the wrong flight direction. There was no plane noise or external planes light s to be seen, just an orange fiery glow with a dull noise. It was really large to the naked eye,,, we watched the space shuttle last month fly over with the space station, this was much larger & lower then that....

Time: midnight
Witness Statement: 1st sighting, out at sea, 3 lights , one after the other flew into the clouds not a chinese lantern, too bright. 2nd sighting, a stationery light in the sky rotating fast, then started darting around the clouds, like dancing. and just vanished, not a plane or helicopter as both flew past as watching this light and they were entirely different.
More strange objects have been spotted in the sky over Scarborough.
Several people contacted the Evening News with reports after earlier this week we published an article detailing recent unexplained sightings.
Lecturer Pat Argent said two groups of his foreign exchange students spotted an unexplained flying object (UFO) above Scarborough Castle at 9.45pm on Tuesday August 18.
He said one group had been at the top of the steps at the side of the Grand Hotel and the others were sitting on the beach at the time of the sighting and they all saw it.
"It was like a big fireball. It started to go up from the castle area and it was moving up in the sky with a straight trajectory. After a few minutes it stopped and it became fixed for around five minutes. Then it disappeared," he said.
While there is no proof that life exists outside planet Earth, it seems that the Culmore Road is a hotspot for locals spotting UFOs.
Unidentified Flying Objects have been reportedly seen in the area an unusually high number of times - with one man contacting the Journal with around 40 photos and a short video documenting the same.
While he did not wish to be named, "for fear of seeming like an eejit", he was certainly convinced that there was little other explanation for his sighting.
He said: "I was leaving someone to their car one evening when I spotted these fast moving bright lights on the horizon. They seemed to be moving extremely fast in a formation.
More sightings of UFOs have been reported following the story in the News last week about unknown lights being spotted over Crewkerne.
Derek Prior, of Dening Close in Chard, wrote in to describe the lights he had seen on the previous night.
"I just happened to look out of my window at 9.45pm and saw this red ball moving very slowly and gradually disappearing high into the clouds," said Mr Prior.
"It was probably up there for some time but I only saw it for a quarter of an hour."
"I too would like to know if anyone can come up with an answer."
Three more witnesses spotted the same lights as Mr Anderton and his friends last Saturday.

Location of Sighting: Mattawa, Washington
Description: On August 23 around 6:30 pm Pacific Time, in Mattawa, Washington I saw a strange creature with my binoculars. At first I thought it was a dog with a white head and black fur. Then I took a second look. It appeared it seemed to walk on two legs like a human. I saw its arms swing back and forth. Once I thought it was a person it was moving way too fast. It had a thin layer of black fur and its head was white. After 5 minutes I lost track of it. Please reply. I want to know what it was.
