Two witnesses in Oceanside, NY, watched two glowing orbs turn into four orbs, then form a triangle shape on December 17, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
The pair was driving at 10:30 p.m. when they noticed a bright light that appeared stationary in the sky.
A closer looked revealed it was two glowing balls of light. They report that suddenly the two lights became four lights. They stopped the car and attempted to video tape the event with a cell phone camera, reporting that they now saw only two balls of light, but a third, dimmer, light appeared and caused the object to look triangular in shape.

6 orange colored triangular shaped craft moving at extream high speed and ultra high altitude
At 10:41 on Friday the 11th December, I witnessed 6 UFOs in a triangular shape flying south easterly in direction, very high in the sky, (Satellite high). If I was to try and guess the height I would say these or this body was in near orbit to earth, the light being emitted by the triangular shape or they may have even been 6 individual craft flying in formation were moving at my best guess 3 times the speed of a satellite passing over headl The light from the craft/crafts was very dim constant orange color, difficult to focus my eyes in the night sky as I had just taken the dog out for a quick late evening walk. There was no sound that I could detect being omitted by this sighting, there were also several commercial aircraft at high altitude flying in different directions unconnected to this (Near to Airport). This sighting has shaken me for I have never ever witnessed anything like this before. The speed of the craft or crafts was fast, much slower than say ! a shooting star or meteor but way faster than satellite track.

Date, time and place of sighting: On Friday evening, December 11th, 6:00pm, while driving northeast on US Highway 19E from Burnsville to Spruce Pine, NC. Near Spruce Pine, an object flew over my vehicle traveling in almost the same direction as I was driving, so I noticed it when it was almost directly overhead. It was traveling in a little more easterly direction than I was.

I saw a v shaped ,silent object moving very quicky in the night sky.
I was taking my dog, Sparky, out for a walk at approx. 17:50 hrs on 12/10/09 in the back common area of my townhouse complex. It was dark at that time, and as I was passing through the opening of two end units, I heard a power hand saw being used by a resident on his rear deck of the townhouses backing up to the drainage ditch which I was approaching from the opposite side. The sound stopped and I saw him walk back inside his house as I reached the spot where I let my dog loose to run and fetch the ball (I know its dark, but I throw it to a spot across the ditch, just like I have done hundreds of times before).

As of 20 minutes ago ( 12/10/09 at 9:25 pm) I stepped outside my home in Wappingers Falls and looked up and saw how beautiful the stars are and how clear the sky was due to the cold temperature.
Traveling southeast I saw a string of orange lights. They were very tiny to the eye. Almost the size of a very distant star. At first it looked like formation of Canadian geese because it was traveling in a V formation. But then very quickly and erratically changed their orientation. They were then like a loose rope, or like a whip, still all in a line but following each other like a snake. They traveled a great distance in only about 10 seconds. 1st almost over head and then out of sight.

Approximate relative location of objects: 2 to 3 miles due South at an altitude of approx 1000'... This is really guess work. However, they were just below the cloud base.
Length of sighting: approx 2mins, possible a little more.
Weather: Just finished raining. Clear broken sky with probably white/gray Cumulus - Nimbus clouds. Sun was shining low in the West.

Witness Statement: A friend of mine saw three red lights in the shape of a triangle at a low altitude and travelling very slowly. A plane was flying above and was easily recognised as an aeroplane. I said I would have a look on my computer to find out if anything had been reported about three red lights making the shape of a huge triangle and I came across a sighting that had taken place in Weoley Castle (13/12/2009) which is only about 2 miles from where my friend has seen them! My friend tried to take a photo only couldn't get to her phone before the lights vanished.

Hovering lights over Buckeye. Viewed from Miller and Baseline road. Two separate craft.
On December 9th 2009 at approximately 21:00 hours, I was driving southbound on Miller road approaching Southern avenue. I noticed two bright lights to the south that appeared to be about one mile away near the old mill. As I approached my turn at Maricopa I was still watching the lights as they were out of the ordinary. They appeared to slowly be moving to the west as I was traveling west down Maricopa road. This is when I became alarmed.
As I made the turn onto sunset point south bound, I kept fixated on the two lights hovering in the sky. They appeared to stop moving. I raced to baseline road as quickly as possible.
When I got there I parked on the south side of baseline looking south. The object was approximately 300 yards away hovering about 100ft in the air. I could barely make out a dark silhouette between the lights. They appeared to slowly begin moving south when the light on the right side of the object flickered out slowly. The other light remained, but appeared to be dimming. It took approximately 30 seconds to one minute before the left side or remaining light dimmed then flickered out as well.
