Location of Sighting: weoley castle
Date of Sighting: 13/12/09
Time: approx 8pm

Witness Statement: As I let the dog out on Sunday night I noticed 3 large red lights in the night sky. They were in a perfect triangular formation moving very slowly across the city from left to right. The sky was clear and these lights were unusually low. I called to my wife to come and have a look and we both puzzled as to what the lights were, were they planes? Were they helicopters? As we watched, they moved silently and purposely across the horizon and then they disappeared, not fading but like turning off a switch, and not together but individually.

There was no noise at all, in fact it was too quiet. There was also a plane above the lights approaching the airport which demonstrates how low their altitude was,
