Date of Sighting: 12 Dec 2009 - Time: 16:10/11 French Time

Normandy, France: 49 deg 16 mins North, 1 deg 27mins West

I'm 54 year old male, Retired IT Software programmer( 25 years in the business ).

Approximate relative location of objects: 2 to 3 miles due South at an altitude of approx 1000'... This is really guess work. However, they were just below the cloud base.

Length of sighting: approx 2mins, possible a little more.

Weather: Just finished raining. Clear broken sky with probably white/gray Cumulus - Nimbus clouds. Sun was shining low in the West.

3 Objects - Appearance: cylindrical/round

Colour: reflective sunlight showed as silver.

Size: unknown, however, all objects appeared to be the same size.

Texture: smooth, possibly metallic. Actually looked liked aluminium. No apparent openings, doors etc. But bearing in mind the distance then probably would not be apparent.

Speed: Unknown

Travelling: East to West.

Motion: All objects appeared to hover and glide (smoothly) from side to side. The change in altitude was also smooth. Changing direction seemed very effortless.

Photographic Evidence: None.

Thats about it. I tried to focus the camera (I was out photographing wildlife) on them and they appeared to disappear into they clouds. Quite bizarre, or I'm eating too much Chocolate. Regards
