US: Multiple orbs circling sun reported from several Indiana locations

Indiana witnesses at several locations are curious what the multiple orb-like balls of light were near the sun on June 30, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"The object I saw moved out from the corona of the sun was clearly a much higher altitude than the bugs and other debris flying around," the reporting witness stated. "This object was moving against the air current that was propelling the other debris in the air."

The object then stopped and hovered in place for about one minute, and then moved into a position blocked by the sun.

"With that, there appeared a whole host of other odd moving 'things.' At one point there were so many that it gave the sun the appearance of an atom with all the molecules circling about it. It was that kind of movement and it was simply spectacular to watch."

The reporting witness included two images, pictured here, and a video.

US: Idaho aircraft mechanic reports Bright Light UFOs on multiple nights

An Idaho aircraft mechanic and student pilot is trying to explain what appeared to be intelligently controlled lights moving across the sky with no signs of FAA required navigation lights, rotating beacons, or strobes, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

A light was spotted by family members two nights in a row, including June 25, 2010, as they watched sitting around a campfire at their cabin.

"The intensity of the light never diminished, even when clearly flying away from us."

The light took the same flight path on both nights, the witness stated, and made no sound. The family also watched traditional flights with proper lighting that emitted sound.

US: Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina UFOs: More witnesses come forward

Additional North Carolina witnesses have come forward to report red lights over Wrightsville Beach on June 22, 2010, where the lights divided into fast moving multiple lights, then abruptly stopped and hovered in place, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The original report we covered was: North Carolina witnesses watch orange light divide into nine-orb formation as MUFON Case # 23924.

Another couple who was at the beach that night and saw the lights heard about this report and decided to file their own report.

The couple speculates - with military jets in the area 15 minutes later - that the lights could be part of a military operation - except that the lights did not operate like anything they had seen before.

Wrightsville Beach is a town in Hanover County, just east of Wilmington, population 2,593.

US: UFOs over New Jersey's Manasquan Inlet seem to play game of 'hide-and-seek'

Three New Jersey witnesses fishing at Manasquan Inlet report two "intermittent white lights" performing maneuvers for 15 minutes in the night sky on June 26, 2010, as though it were a game of "hide-and-seek," according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"The object appeared to display a single steady white light for about 10 to 20 seconds at a time, during which period it made numerous almost instantaneous position changes vertically, horizontally and diagonally within a defined area, then would extinguish, only to reappear and perform a similar but random series of movements," the reporting witness stated.

"I am aware of no aircraft with this capability."

They soon realized that they were looking at two objects.

"It was difficult to determine initially if the movements were that of a single object or more, but after about a minute of us all watching the movements of the object with great interest, a second object appeared simultaneously nearby, and displayed similar behavior to the first object. After that the objects appeared both singly and together in individual random maneuvers which made them appear to move thousands of feet at a time in just a second or fraction of a second, and in many directions with abrupt stops and zig-zag direction changes, almost as if playing a combined game of tag and hide-and-seek."

Another Oregon UFO sighting was reported from June 27, 2010, with two witnesses at Summer Lake Hot Springs who watched multiple lights in the sky and some that moved into the lake, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

They first noticed "a streak of light across a large part of the sky" as though something had moved overhead at high speed.

After the event occurred again, with the object brighter and moving slower, the reporting witness retrieved a camera.

They then witnessed balls of light moving across the sky that changed shape and color - red, blue, green, and white - fading in and out, and sometimes appearing to be transparent.

Later that same evening, they report that "multiple balls of light appeared above the horizon."

These lights "were within a mile or less" and moved "extremely low to the ground."

At this point, they say they saw the lights move into the lake, and then they reappeared within 1,000 yards.

Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.
Number of Witnesses: 6

Brian Vike's Note: This report below is an updated version of a sighting which was sent to me last night, July 4, 2010). I have the link to the witnesses original sighting report. - here.

Comment: For your convenience, here is what the first report said:

Date: July 3, 2010
Time: Evening.

I'm an airline pilot and was having a party on July 3rd. There were 5 other airline pilots and 1 corporate pilot at the party. Most, if not all of us witnessed an orange ball flying over from South to North. One of the guys is not only an airline pilot, but also really into astronomy. None of us could identify the object as anything recognizable. I'll post a report for you soon. I'm going to see if anyone remembers the exact time.

Dozen flying balls of orange light over Dickinson, North Dakota

Date: July 4, 2010
Time: Approx: 10:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Hi, I just saw at least a dozen or so of what I Googled as 'flying balls of light,' because that's the way I'd describe them too. They were flying from the SW to the NE over the Heart River. I saw them as I stood on the deck overlooking the river while up at the sky while watching people's 4th of July fireworks going off around Dickinson, ND tonight, around 10:00 to 11:00pm.

The balls of light were all traveling in the same general direction, all going more or less the same speed. Their speed was fairly steady and somewhat slow, and clearly parallel to the ground, not arced as though they were falling objects, like meteors. But they were fiery, like meteors. I can't imagine what they were. They were too low to be airplanes, and they were all higher than the fireworks. Their lights were also too large, round, orange, and steadily lit to be helicopters- they didn't have any blinking lights with them at all like aircraft would be expected to have.

US: Strange objects seen by many witnesses on July 4th over Illinois

Posted: July 5, 2010

Date: July 4th 2010
Time: Evening.

Yesterday, July 4th 2010 we were blowing up fireworks in my neighbors yard, when we spotted about 9 orange balls flying at a very constant, yet fast speed. They appeared and crossed the horizon disappearing after about a minute. The first one we saw looked like a comet, but then the others appeared out of basically nowhere, it almost looked like the movie transformers.

Date: July 4, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:45 p.m.

It was about 9:45pm almost 10:00pm on July 4, 2010. We just got done watching the fireworks display in Millstadt and was heading back to Belleville when we saw many strange orange lights in the sky. They were all moving slowly in a spread out line. Many people were pulling off the road to get a better look.

US: Witness reports triangle UFO over Camp Mabry, Texas, has one blinking light

A Texas witness near Camp Mabry watched a dark gray, triangle UFO hovering in the sky on June 26, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"It was roughly the size of a 10 cent dime if you held it over your head arms stretched out," the witness stated.

Two of the three lights at its three points remained on, while the third light blinked. Most witnesses to triangle-shaped UFOs report that all three lights remain on, and often there is a fourth light underneath the object at its center.

The witness is hoping there are additional witnesses to this sighting. If you saw this sighting, please file a report with MUFON.com so that the Texas investigators have more information.

US: Fast moving cigar-shaped UFO over Illinois observed from I-70

An Illinois witness watched a cigar-shaped UFO under the cloud level near the Mississippi River while traveling along I-70 near W. Florissant Avenue on June 18, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"The object looked like a cigar and its altitude seemed low," the witness stated. "Its color blended in with the background clouds as white or grey."

The witness said the object was fast moving.

"I watched it cross about 120 degrees of the horizon in approximately 110 seconds, moving from NNE to SSW until it faded into the background clouds behind the St. Louis skyline. That is a speed of about 1 degree of sky covered per second so I rolled down my windows while trying to keep the object in view and did not hear a sonic boom."
