Location of Sighting: Hertfordshire UK.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Spherical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Appeared to be a low flying plane at first as it went overhead, though not making any sound that I could hear. There was only a constant bright white light, no flashing lights. As it continued overhead, I realised that the back end of it was also just a bright white light. Appeared to be spherical, and had the appearance of a star. It appeared to be moving fairly slowly, but I had no understanding of the height it was flying so this factor could be questionable.

Bright orange-yellow light over Bingley, Bradford, England

I seen one in Bradford 2 days ago over my house in Bingley 25.06.10. I tried to record it on my mobile phone but I pressed the wrong button because I was rushing. I pressed camera instead of video. It was my first ever sighting, but I wasn't freaked out because I knew they existed all along.

I just got back from Huddersfield after completing my first year at university and I was staying at my mothers house. It was about 10:20pm and I went for a cigarette out in the back garden. I saw in the sky a bright orange/yellow light that looked almost like a comet or ball of fire, but I realised that it was moving too slowly. As it got closer I noticed that it wasn't traveling in a straight line, or at a constant speed, it was almost swerving from side to side. It was heading west, but kept slowing down and speeding up. I knew it wasn't an airplane or a helicopter because it was silent as it passed over the rooftop.

Sunday 27th June 2010 - seen from Slough area at approx 2230hrs towards Heathrow Airport direction.

This evening I could see the planes taking off etc., around the Heathrow area and then I saw five orange flames, silent, one after the other all traveling in the same direction and then were off from heading North to then head East. About 20 mins later I saw two more traveling one after the other traveling in the same directions but they were slightly more to the West.

Shape of Objects: Dot of light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Staring at the same point in the sky, a friend and I saw a flash that was an inch or two in diameter and then we both witnessed what seemed like a satellite stream away into nothing in the sky just a few inches from where we saw the flash like something just flew away. I've been looking up for years and I've seen shooting stars, meteor showers, satellites, planets and fireballs, but none of them were anything like this.

An STV viewer has submitted a piece of video that he says could show a UFO in the skies above Scotland.

Robbie Davidson, a student from Kirkcaldy, had been filming a strange cloud that appeared to have a rainbow in it, and says that what could be a disc-shaped object became visible ahead of the cloud.

He was travelling in van near North Berwick earlier this month when he made the sighting.

He told STV news: "I didn't notice it until I started filming, and you can see the saucer shape when you pause it and look closely.

"I've shown it to a few people who have dismissed it, but others say that they have seen similar things that evening in that area, like weird lights in the sky."

He added: "There are no mountains there and it is not the sun because it was right behind me when I was filming."

A Scots honeymooner was left stunned after spotting what looks like a UFO in his holiday snaps from Egypt.

Gerry Weatherall, 41, captured the mystery 'flying saucer' hovering over pyramids at Giza.

The kitchen surveyor was touring the famous site during a week-long break with new bride Ayisha, 28, when he took the snap.

But it was only when he checked his pics back home in Barmulloch, Glasgow, that he realised his close encounter. He said: "I uploaded the pictures of the pyramids on to my computer and was flicking through them when I spotted this object hovering over them.

"I took a load of pictures and it's not in any of the others.

"We didn't see anything at the time but you can clearly see there is something there.

"Maybe it is a UFO visiting the pyramids."

I was sitting in my backyard on the evening of June 13, 2010. It was around 10:30 PM, and a very clear night in Portland, Oregon.

The stars had just started to come out as it gets dark later and later this time of year. It was a beautiful evening and my eyes were drawn to the sky.

There is a lot of air traffic in Portland and I am quite familiar with the speed and looks of airplanes at night. There was the usual air traffic here and there: slow moving planes with their lights blinking and flickering in the distance.

There was a pause in air traffic and the sky was calm. I noticed a small, star-like object out of nowhere moving very fast across the sky from the south heading north. I was facing east with the Big Dipper directly behind me.

My friends and I were walking on New Dorp Beach, in Staten Island, New York, (one of the five boroughs), and we looked up to stargaze, and instead see strange lights in a clear night sky.

The pattern of lights was consistent with a tail light (color purpleish), two wing lights (a strange white color), and a center light (red to green).

What was most frightening to us was the sound - or rather lack of any. The bottom was black and sleek, almost as if it were an SR-71 blackbird, although current technology does not allow for flight ascending directly upwards and downwards, and does not allow for sudden, almost sonic speeds.

I had just driven into the driveway and when I looked up in the sky I saw an airplane like I often do.

This time I saw a very shiny, oval, silver object near the plane that kept slowly moving across the sky.

I ran inside and grabbed my digital camera. When I returned, it had passed my house and was going further up in the sky. It still remained very shiny, however.
