California Mutual UFO State Section Director Jeffrey Gonzalez forwarded the link to this UFO video that he said was taken July 17, 2010, over Fresno. Gonzalez says he knows the person who took the video and believes it is one of the best videos of UFO activity in our skies.

US: Glowing orange sphere hovers over Iowa marina - then speeds away

A glowing orange sphere approximately 3 feet in diameter at the treeline level startled an Iowa man as he packed his children in the car from a day at the Okoboji Boats Marina just after sunset on July 17, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The man first thought it might be a Chinese lantern, but then had second thoughts.

"But it just kept floating there in the same place," he stated. "No sound."

Still watching the object, the man observed that the object "seemed to be slowly moving up and away from the tree tops moving in a very slow, pulsating sort of way, like the way a jelly fish moves through the water."

Another witness appeared on the scene and the two watched the object - which then seemed to move away at great speed.

US: Metallic sphere UFO near Chicago had 'triangular halo' around it

A group of Illinois witnesses near Chicago describe watching a spherical object that was chrome or metallic with a triangular halo around it pass just a few hundred feet off of the ground from a distance of 5 or 10 blocks away, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"I felt like my eyes had a hard time focusing on it, which was a strange sensation," the reporting witness stated. "It almost appeared fuzzy around the edge of its shape. It seemed to move fairly quickly, but very smoothly."

The object was reported as traveling in a northeast direction, moving away from O'Hare International Airport, toward Lake Michigan, when it disappeared from their view behind a building.

The exact location was not mentioned in the public portion of the MUFON report. No images or video were submitted with the report.

US: Illinois office workers watch pieces falling off hovering daylight UFO

A group of Illinois office workers observed a "copper colored, brightly flashing" object that hovered in the daytime sky while "smaller pieces appeared to be breaking away and falling rapidly" to the ground on July 16, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"It was much brighter than anything I have ever seen in the day light which is what drew my attention," the reporting witness stated.

A group of workers assembled outside the building where the object had ascended higher in the sky, but was directly overhead.

"In a completely cloudless crystal blue background There was no reference for the altitude or size of the object."

At this point, the group reports that pieces of the object began to fall off to the ground.

After 10 or 15 minutes, the witness reports that the object itself began falling toward the ground.

US: Georgia couple describes 200-foot-wide sphere UFO slow moving at 300 feet

A Georgia couple reports a bright light at 300 feet that was moving so slow they first thought it was floating, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

They described the object spotted at 10 p.m. on July 13, 2010, as 200 feet in diameter, "emitting a white light from its spherical center," with "four rotating rings around it that were definitely metallic looking and were rotating pretty fast."

After about 1 minute, the object "shot up wards into the sky until it was a dim ball of light and then disappeared completely. "

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Georgia MUFON State Director Ralph Howard investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

Venezuela: Luminous UFO Over Western Caracas

Between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, several people witnessed the dizzying flight of an alleged luminous flying object, of strange appearance and behavior, from various parts of Caracas.

According to a telephone report from one witness, who did not disclose her identity perhaps due to the brevity of the sighting, her own excitement or fear, the UFO was "circular and and issued a reddish-yellow light that covered it completely, increasing and diminishing by intervals."

The UFO, which appeared to be over the western sector of the city, "not very high up in the sky" was seen with a certain degree of difficulty due to the cloudiness that covered that part of the airspace, "but the intensity of its light kept us from losing it from sight."

Uruguay: Strange Object Photographed During Parade

The Uruguayan Air Force is currently analyzing an image depicting a strange object in the sky during the welcoming ceremony for the Uruguayan soccer team on Tuesday, July 13. The photo was taken on Avenida Libertador.

"Since the bus that carried the players was passing by my workplace, I went out for a few minutes to welcome them and take a few photos. I took some photos of them and before leaving, I took a few panoramic shots of Avenida Libertador, because it was truly impressive to see so many people in one place, celebrating. At night, when I downloaded them to my computer, I saw that there was a strange dot in the sky in one photo. When I enhanced it, I saw that the dot was semicircular in shape and had several orbs underneath it," the author of these images to El Pais, preferring not to disclose their name.

Summer can be the cruelest season when the mercury soars past the hundred degree mark and the nights are almost just as hot. Without an electric fan or air conditioner, sleep can be reduced to an incessant tossing and turning. The Spanish town of Bollullos (Huelva) was certainly a perfect example of this unrelenting heat in the month of July 1975, when what little relief offered by mechanical cooling devices was interrupted by a sudden, unexpected blackout.

The power outage had occurred at eleven o'clock in the evening, prompting locals to look out their windows for a possible explanation. Three local youths had gone to the movie theater in search of some relief from the heat, only to find their enjoyment interrupted by the blackout. With nothing left to do, the dejected trio returned home, only to have a startling encounter with the unexplained.

Hi, Brian, I just Googled the description of what my husband and I viewed in the sky on Saturday night (7/17), and your website popped up. I cannot believe that these (5) balls have been seen by others. We actually pulled over to the side of the road that had no shoulder while driving on Kishwaukee from Rockford through Belvidere and spotted them. We saw that other cars had pulled over as well, not realizing the other cars were police cars.

The past two night I've observed a single orange glow, thought it was something entering the atmosphere and burning with a long orange tail, first time Sunday night about 11:00pm it came from the direction of Calais across the channel and then went north, second time came from the north over Whitfield about 10:30pm then faded.
