Scotland: A couple witness an orange glow that turned into a round dark object over Dalgety Bay

Location of Sighting: Dalgety Bay, Fife
Date of Sighting: 9th July, 2010
Time: 10:50 p.m.

Witness Statement: Saw a orange glow appear in the west. It started to gain height and as it did the orange glow disappeared and what can only be described as a round dark looking object continued to travel very slowly in a easterly direction. It was not possible to accurately describe the object as the edges were blurred. I would estimate it was no higher than two thousand feet and going by the size about the same as a Boeing 747 ( which we see regularly passing over our house) in diameter. It then disappeared into the clouds east of us.

Time: 10pm

Witness Statement: My husband and I were returning from an evening amble through town. For some reason I looked upwards towards the sky and was surprised by the sight of 3 large, orange red, globular, objects sailing in crooked formation across the sky ...silently, big. Each seemed individual .Then, the one at the back end removed itself with incredible ease and speed and sidled up close beside the middle one, (surprisingly close for a flying object up in the sky! )...And then its light diminished and died, the front orange glowing ball did the same and then the middle one dimmed its light too. They all took off at another angle, as black objects, disappearing into the distance, the front one now out of sight while the two behind traveled away together!! I could still see them over the rooftops though!

US: Multiple 'translucent' orange triangle UFOs spotted over Michigan skies

A Michigan witness reports spotting several "translucent" triangle-shaped UFOs in the night sky on July 9, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness states that there were between 5 and 7 of these silent, orange-colored objects.

"The best way that I can describe their movement, was that they looked like something gliding underwater, just near the surface, when what you're looking at looks somewhat distorted because of he movement of the water." the witness stated.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Michigan MUFON State Director William J. Konkolesky investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

US: California couple unsure of bright object's source over San Francisco Bay

A California couple near the San Francisco Bay area watched a slow moving bright light in the sky at 7:05 p.m. on July 11, 2010, that they were unable to identify, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The couple is considering that the object may have been a balloon, although they wonder that it "seemed too large to be a general group of balloons, and too small to be a high altitude balloon."

The object then turned a "bright orange, similar to flame."

"Upon seeing the orange flame like color my curiosity really peaked and I wished I had binoculars," the reporting witness stated. "I then thought of my camera and took two fairly poor quality photo's (see attached) hoping through the zoom I might gain some details. As you see in the photo's not much is determinable."

US: Red lights 'fuse' and split into four UFOs as North Carolina couple watch

A North Carolina couple report watching two red lights on July 6, 2010, that lit up the ground area below to the point where they had to look away, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"The lights lit the entire area below and around the vehicles but did not illuminate the crafts at all," the reporting witness stated.

The lights then remained stationary, and then seemed to "fuse" together as a single light. Then the single light moved away, and split into two lights again.

As the witnesses watched, these two lights then split into two lights - for a total of four lights. The lights then faded away after about 3 minutes.

US: Tennessee man encounters 'massive' silent triangle UFO low over roadway

A Tennessee witness first saw what looked like moving lights which soon formed a "massive diamond-triangular shape with smooth round edges" on July 6, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness quickly pulled over for a better look.

"As I sat in the car with the engine turned off and the window down, I attempted to hear some type of noise...there was nothing," the witness stated. "I was just feeling great anxiety and astonishment at my seeing this object and not believing it was actually floating over an entire neighborhood."

As the object moved behind the tree line, the witness pursued in his car, but lost the object.

Hello, last night I went out to the deck for cigarette. When just over the western horizon I saw a fairy huge red glowing long irregular length. By the time I asked my wife to get my binoculars, the light disappeared over the trees of the hill. I live in the southern part of Marion county of West Virginia.

The fiery red light was just about at around 8:30pm. I take it Venus is the bright looking star I see every night in my southern sky. This bright fiery light was about 7 o'clock to what I take it being Venus. My view only last about 15 or so seconds. Due to the time I went to the deck. I know what I saw just wondering if anyone else saw this? Thank You.

Time: 12:34 a.m.

Message: I'm serious, even my mom saw them. It was around 12:30am and I was getting ready to take my friend home. I looked back to 8ball (my dog) from the side gate, that's when we saw them. There were 3 orange lighted craft. They were glowing a yellow orange color, like a street light.

They were flying from San Pedro, California area moving towards us. There was no sound at all and they were in a triangle formation. They then stopped in mid air over Wilmington.

Comment: Of course, a new type of flare tied onto choppers. That explains it all. Not that this couldn't be the case, but could it be that the Chinese lantern theory didn't hold up to scrutiny so now we have a new theory in the US?

Time: Evening.

Driving from Iowa to Maryland this past weekend my husband and I saw 5 "balls of fire" in the sky at about the IL/IN border. They seemed to be near the tree-line. They dove, hovered, made U-turns and moved sideways, and had tails of fire.

If they had simply fallen straight down I would've said they were perfectly round comets. We thought they must be some kind of lightshow or post July 4th thing and we Googled it when we got home. This sight lasted for a long time as we drove, and we thought it was unusual. I guess that's all I know.
