Florida parent-teen watch silent fast-moving boomerang UFO

A Florida parent and 18-year-old son report watching a large, fast-moving, boomerang-shaped object with no lights move directly overhead on November 3, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The object was not lit, but they could make out "circular-shaped parts" on the underside.

"The object was a giant 'V' shape (like a boomerang) and there were no lights on it," the parent stated. "However, there were several (I think 5 or 7) large circular shaped parts on the underside of the object that we could clearly see which looked a little like giant headlights that would shine straight down but that were not on."

The witness provided more details on the object.

"In proportion to the boomerang shaped object, the circular parts seemed to be rather large and take up a good portion of the width of each leg of the 'V'. It was dark and we could not see the color of the object nor what it was made out of. It didn't seem 'reflective' or that it was made of metal or glass, but we couldn't be sure because it was so dark and it was fairly high in the sky."

The witness stated that the object moved in a straight line and remained at the same altitude during the sighting.

"It was completely silent and it moved very fast but smoothly through the sky. It simply made a straight line path in its movement from the West toward the East- no turns that we could see. It seemed to be a consistent height the whole time too- not moving any higher or lower as it moved along."

No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the MUFON report, which was filed on November 5, 2010.

While hundreds of curiosity seekers arrive, digital cameras in hand, to record the new manifestations of "The Chicoana Prints" in Salta, numerous reports are emerging with regard to sightings that occurred prior to the agriglyphs (circles and giant drawings in cultivated fields) being reported in the wheat fields of Las Mesitas, along the access route to the town on provincial highway 32.

Moreover, the communal association of this town will ask the owner of the private field to demarcate the area in which the event occurred in order it may be studied by ufologists and specialists before being harvested.

Farmers and their combines may erase these figures in coming days.

"We don't want a repetition of 2008, when we didn't even have time to make aerial photos of these strange geometric drawings in the Chicoana fields. There must be a reason for having these events repeat during the same season," stated Rafael Romano, governing secretary of the local communal association, as he confirmed the planning of aerial views from various sectors of the town in the next 24 hours.

Seattle -- Did you see the unusual light show?

KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Reporter Michelle Millman and engineer Dan Crouch both saw flaming debris streak across the sky at about 3:20 Wednesday morning.

A surveillance camera at Honda of Kirkland captured the streak of light. The dealership is in the heart of Rose Hill in Kirkland on NE 85th Street.

France in the fifties was overwhelmed with UFO reports. One of the lesser known and more mysteries anomalies connected to this wave was the collection of white fibrous material that fell from the heavens. Dubbed Angel Hair because it falls from the sky, it was seen in conjunction with UFO sightings, but more often without. Even the Condon Report, a UFO study done by the University of Colorado in the late sixties at the behest of the U.S. Air Force, examined the issue. They described angel hair as "fibrous material which falls in large quantities, but is unstable and disintegrates and vanishes soon after falling."

One of the earlier more fantastic reports of angel hair took place in Oloron, France in October of 1952. According to several witnesses they saw a large cylinder in the sky at a 45 degree angle. Below it was a cloud and witnesses could also make out a mass of smaller objects. Using opera glasses they could see that these smaller objects were red spheres surrounded by a yellow ring. Their movements were described as "following a broken path characterized in general by rapid and short zigzags. When two saucers drew away from one another, a whitish streak, like an electric arc, was produced between them." Witnesses estimated there were about 30 of these objects. Falling from these objects was a white hair-like substance. When picked up and rolled into a ball it turned into gelatin and then disappeared. This entire scenario repeated itself 10 days later in Gaillac, France.

Many compare it to spotting a UFO, or seeing Bigfoot in the woods. Now, a mysterious and mythical animal may have made its way to Kansas.

The creature was first seen running toward cattle in Sedgwick County.

Those who found it described it as having feet like a raccoon, a tail like a rat, a head like a coyote, and moved like a kangaroo.

According to Michelle Dusseau, not knowing what it was worried her and her fiance.

"We have farm animals, so I thought of them and didn't want them to get sick or hurt, so it was better to shoot him," said Dusseau.

What exactly is 'it'?

Story of U.S. Naval vessel that vanished in 1918 hits home for Baltimore County residents

To this day, Reisterstown resident Marvin Barrash knows precious little about his great-uncle, U.S. Navy Seaman Lawrence Merkel, a Baltimore native who lived his brief life in obscurity until it ended suddenly sometime in early March, 1918, in the months immediately following the United States' entry into World War I.

Merkel was one of 309 crew members and passengers to vanish on the USS Cyclops, a naval coal-hauling vessel lost with all hands somewhere in the Caribbean Sea in what has been described as the worst non-combat-related disaster in U.S. naval history.

"My uncle died even before my father was born," said Barrash, 57, a longtime Department of Defense employee and author of the recently published USS Cyclops, a 794-page, hardback tome that delves exhaustively into the construction, operation and disappearance of the 542-foot, 12,500-ton capacity "floating coalmine."

Red Light Covered UFO Flies Over Purdue University

In one of the latest reports of unidentified flying objects, students at the Indiana University-Purdue University campus in Indianapolis, IN, reported a huge unidentified flying object with red lights flying over their campus Nov. 7.

Shocked students reported that the craft was more than 15 times the size of the full moon, and shaped like a perfect circle with mushroom-like compartments underneath and covered with several red lights, mostly on its exterior. One student added that he also noticed a silver section in the front of the craft that had three corners and reminded him of a bird-like shape.

The UFO was reported as being seen on two separate occasions in the same evening, both times making passes over the university campus area. None of the eye witnesses took any pictures of either sighting, but one of them instead drew a picture of the mysterious campus visitation.
