Description: Quite frankly I don't know what I saw, but it was definitely not a blimp, helicopter or an AC on the approach or depart re from either Miami International or OPA LOCKA Air Port.

I arrived home in Miami Lakes about 11:30 PM and I was walking across my lawn to the front door I noticed a light in the sky at roughly 220 - 230 degrees west-southwest and at about 45 degrees above the horizon. What was strange about this light were two very large white lights facing down. They were kind of like the old retractable landing light, but much larger. There were other lights all over. Some were colored and others were white. The object was very large and if I had to guess at the shape either flat or elongated. The object remained motionless in the same spot the entire time I watched it (five or ten minutes). It looked to be from five to eight miles from my position. I was still in the same spot when I went into the house. It kind of sounds very much like the report from the gentleman who reported seeing lights in the sky at 6 AM on the 10th in the same general location. Could there be a connection?

Description: I was checking our orange tree for possibly freeze damage when I noticed two fighter jets so close that they called my attention. Then I saw 3 round white or silver objects. The jets were going after the objects. I called my wife right away. Then she told me "to get my camera. I took some Pictures, but the objects were far away and two of them left really fast and the other one stayed for about 10 seconds then left northeast. I will send the photo.

A Colorado witness recalls events from June 1, 1969, when a disc-shaped UFO hovered low close to the opening to NORAD Mountain near Colorado Springs while a "distinct calmness" surrounded the area as things appeared to happen in "slow motion" and the atmosphere appeared "kind of orange-ish," according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was 12 years old at the time, whose father was in the Air Force. The witness walked outside this one day and saw a UFO hovering over a neighbor's home. The witness estimated that their home and the opening to NORAD Mountain was less than 2 miles apart.

"Across the street about 30 feet above the neighbors house was a UFO," the witness stated. "It was fairly large, about the size of 1.5 school buses. It was a disc. The dome on top was more square like, sort of like a top hat but a little shorter. The craft was black. The dome had large windows that took up nearly all of the dome. There were lights on inside and I could see dark shadowy humanlike figures looking out at me."

Four people suffered a strange experience on the evening of 17 November and discussed it live on the PUENTE 2001 program on Radio Ciudad, Antena 10, from 23:00 to 00:00 hours, and over the Internet on www.antena10.com.ar

1st case: Witness Juan Ignacio, accompanied by a friend, both of them raised in the countryside and with a good knowledge of its ways, were getting ready to have dinner on 17 November on the shoulder of Provincial Route 14, some fifteen kilometers east of the El Durazno wilderness. Geographically, the area features tall vegetation with some valleys suitable for agriculture. There are no communities nearby, except for the wilderness, which features a Vialidad Provincial (provincial traffic control) post, a police station and some isolated houses. The time was 23:00 hours and both men readied themselves to eat on the hood of the car when they realized that a caldén (a traditional tree of the Pampean wilderness) was completely illuminated...but the light emerged "from below" as though coming out of the earth.

UFO websites were buzzing this week with a report of two sightings of unusual objects over East Hempfield Township Monday.

A woman said she saw a Hershey Kiss-shaped object, accompanied by two Chinook military helicopters, around noon, and then another similar lighted object later that evening over Spring Valley Road. She reported the sightings to the Mutual UFO Network, or MUFON, which is based in Greeley, Colo.

On 6 May this year, the financial markets freaked. The Dow Jones index (which tracks the overall value of key stocks on the US market) crashed by 1,000 points in just a few minutes, creating what has become known as the "Flash Crash" and wiping billions of dollars off the value of the New York stock market. Now most people's picture of a stock exchange involves a bunch of pushy geezers in red braces shouting and waving their arms about, and while that might have been the case in the 1980s, today's markets are very different. These days, stock markets are high tech and virtual. Trading is carried out by carefully-honed, esoteric computer programs that can make thousands of trades a second using automated bots. Finance companies vie to locate their server farms as close to the trading floors as possible because these things trade so fast that even the speed of light (at which the data moves through the cables) is a factor in the calculations as to whether a successful trade is pulled off or not. It's no longer the Gordon Geckos of this world who make the running, but PhD physicists who have defected to hedge funds, where their skill at creating algorithms to mimic physical processes is put to work modell­ing financial markets in order to pull off these light-speed trades.

Because of this, various companies have grown up with that record and analyse the digital traffic of the trades in order to better understand how the market is working, and when one of these, a data services company called Nanex, turned its attention to the 6 May "Flash Crash", they turned up something very weird indeed. Normally, trades are looked at on a minute-by-minute basis, but Nanex's Software Engineer Jeffrey Donovan decided it might be instructive to bore down into the data and look at what was happening on a millisecond scale - and what he found stopped him in his tracks. A pattern was visible, which Donovan dubbed 'The Knife'.

No one seems to know the origin or the meaning behind a mysterious pyramid that sits atop Mount Baigong in western China that local legends claim is an alien UFO launch tower.

Nine scientists form the team that will travel to the western province of Qinghai and the mouth of this 165-198 foot tall structure known as the "ET Relics."

"The pyramid has three caves with openings shaped like triangles on its façade and is filled with red-hued pipes leading into the mountain and a nearby salt water lake," says China's state-run Xinhua agency.
