The individuals who submitted the photographs and report were on their way to a waterfall to make camp not far from Huarochiri, Lima, Peru, on 10-23-10.
The photograph below was taken while they were taking a break at a gazebo. It was cloudy at the time.
No one saw anything in the sky at the time the photo was taken. They only noticed the object later, when reviewing the pictures from their trip.
They say that it is possible that the object is an insect or bird, but it must be taken into account that the area has no large birds, because of the altitude of the area.
The camera used was a digital Kodak C913, 3x zoom, 9 mp.
