Flashback German scientist: 'Electronic smog is disrupting nature on a massive scale'

Mobile phones, Wi-Fi systems, electric power lines and similar sources of "electrosmog" are disrupting nature on a massive scale, causing birds and bees to lose their bearings, fail to reproduce and die, a conference will be told this week.

Dr Ulrich Warnke - who has been researching the effects of man-made electrical fields on wildlife for more than 30 years - will tell the conference, organised by the Radiation Research Trust at the Royal Society in London, that "an unprecedented dense mesh of artificial magnetic, electrical and electromagnetic fields" has been generated, overwhelming the "natural system of information" on which the species rely.

He believes this could be responsible for the disappearance of bees in Europe and the US in what is known as colony collapse disorder, for the decline of the house sparrow, whose numbers have fallen by half in Britain over the past 30 years, and that it could also interfere with bird migration.

Dr Warnke, a lecturer at the University of Saarland, in Germany, adds that the world's natural electrical and magnetic fields have had a "decisive hand in the evolution of species". Over millions of years they learned to use them to work out where they were, the time of day, and the approach of bad weather.

Comment: Indeed, and there is good evidence that the cancer pandemic and other 'diseases of civilization' are strongly correlated, if not caused by, the exponential proliferation of EMF pollution.

Pope Francis slams GMOs and pesticides for environmental and social damage

Pope Francis slams both GMOs and pesticides in a draft of his major environmental document that was leaked Monday. He has also called for the financing of independent and interdisciplinary research to study GMOs.

On the subject of GMOs Pope Francis states; "It is difficult to give an overall judgment on the development of genetically modified organisms (GMO), plant or animal, for medical purposes or in agriculture, since they can be very different and require different considerations."

He continues; "Although we do not have definitive evidence about the damage that transgenic cereals could cause to humans, and in some regions their use has produced economic growth that has helped solve some problems, there are significant problems that should not be minimized. In many areas, following the introduction of these crops, there has been a concentration of productive land in the hands of the few, due to the gradual disappearance of small producers, who, as a consequence of the loss of cultivated land, have been forced to retreat from direct production.

Comment: The research has been done and the concerns voiced repeatedly over the years: Monsanto, the prototypical corporation, meets the clinical criteria for psychopathy. Nothing good will come out of it for humanity as a whole.

Flashback Electronic smog as major cause of 'diseases of civilization'? UN and WHO investigate

Invisible "smog", created by the electricity that powers our civilisation, is giving children cancer, causing miscarriages and suicides and making some people allergic to modern life, new scientific evidence reveals.

The evidence - which is being taken seriously by national and international bodies and authorities - suggests that almost everyone is being exposed to a new form of pollution with countless sources in daily use in every home.

Two official Department of Health reports on the smog are to be presented to ministers next month, and the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has recently held the first meeting of an expert group charged with developing advice to the public on the threat.

The UN's World Health Organisation (WHO) calls the electronic smog "one of the most common and fastest growing environmental influences" and stresses that it "takes seriously" concerns about the health effects. It adds that "everyone in the world" is exposed to it and that "levels will continue to increase as technology advances".

Wiring creates electrical fields, one component of the smog, even when nothing is turned on. And all electrical equipment - from TVs to toasters - give off another one, magnetic fields. The fields rapidly decrease with distance but appliances such as hair dryers and electric shavers, used close to the head, can give high exposures. Electric blankets and clock radios near to beds produce even higher doses because people are exposed to them for many hours while sleeping.

This article is part four in a series of articles on electromagnetic field (EMF) pollution. Part one is available here, part two here and part three here. This article will focus on what you can do to reduce your EMF exposure.

Chronic diseases have many potential causes - including genetics, deficient diet, toxin exposure, and repressed emotions or psychological malformations. Research conducted over the past two decades supports adding electro-magnetic frequency (EMF) exposure to the top-level list of causes of chronic disease (including genome/DNA damage). It's likely that a chronic disease condition results from a unique and individual combination of these top-level stressors, so EMF exposure should be considered in the context of other source causes, as suggested in Figure 1.

It's important to note that the evidence suggests EMF exposure is cumulative - much like ionizing radiation (think of the Chernobyl and Fukushima nuclear accidents). This means that periods of relatively high exposure can be offset by extended periods of very low exposure. There is a threshold cumulative exposure beyond which symptoms of being EMF-sensitive (ES) begin to occur, and this threshold will depend on individual genetic factors, diet/health status, and toxic chemical burden. Avoiding this threshold is key, and to do this you need to quantify your environmental exposure in those places where you spend the most time (bedroom/home, workplace, etc).

Another important thing to note is that EMF exposure has much greater long-term health impacts on children due to their rapid growth and maturing of tissue.

A teenager who begged doctors to take her health fears seriously in the months before she died from a rare cancer was told by medics to "stop Googling your symptoms".

Bronte Doyne died on March 23, 2013, aged 19 - just 16 months after she first complained of severe stomach pains.

In text messages, tweets and personal diary entries, the student expressed her worries that medics were not acting as her health deteriorated.

Doctors dismissed her concerns, leaving her desperate for someone to take her seriously. In one tweet in July 2012, Miss Doyne tweeted:

Comment: This is unforgivable and so very typical of the state of modern mainstream medicine where doctors believe themselves to be "all-knowing" when in reality many of them are mere salespersons for big pharma that produces drugs for profit, not for health.

The government of South Korea has authorized the use of over $45 million in reserve funds to support the nation's struggle with an outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), which took three more lives on Tuesday. The South Korean Cabinet has approved the use of 50.5 billion won (US$45.2 million), offered by the finance ministry, to purchase special materials and equipment, as well as boost medical staff, Yonhap news agency reported.

"The money will be allocated in a timely manner to support the government's all-out effort to contain MERS," the ministry said.

The funding is to go to the state-run National Medical Center, located in Seoul, which currently serves as South Korea's central MERS treatment facility. It will also help hospitals that treat non-MERS patients which are overloaded because the outbreak has led some other hospitals to temporarily closing.

In addition, the government has promised to provide monetary compensation for people who have been kept in isolation as a result of the outbreak.

"The coronavirus family includes MERS, SARS, or severe acute respiratory syndrome, and the common cold. Some of the MERS symptoms are similar to SARS. It causes lung infection and fever but differs in that it also causes rapid kidney failure. While the MERS virus can be transmitted from person to person, it is not as easily transmitted to the general public. It is considered less transmissible than the SARS virus, which made headlines and generated hysteria when it infected 8,273 people and caused 775 deaths from 2002-2003."

Kudos are due Center for Science in the Public Interest, Natural Resources Defense Council, Center for Food Safety, Consumers Union, Improving Kids' Environment, Center for Environmental Health, Environmental Working Group, and James Huff for the 38-page petition they filed June 10, 2015 with the Director of the Office of Food Additive Safety at the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition regarding the removal of seven synthetic flavors and one additional flavor from the U.S. food production/processing/manufacturing processes.

The flavors involved are:
  1. Benzophenone (also known as diphenylketone);
  2. Ethyl acrylate;
  3. Eugenyl methyl ether (also known as 4-allylveratrole or methyl eugenol);
  4. Myrcene (also known as 7-methyl-3-methylene-1,6-octadiene);

California is going full totalitarian, but is anyone surprised?

The state's controversial and tyrannical mandatory vaccine bill has jumped another hurdle on its path to becoming law.

Yesterday, California lawmakers approved the bill, which requires all schoolchildren be vaccinated before being permitted to attend public or PRIVATE schools unless they have a MEDICAL exemption.

That's right: they are not going to allow religious or philosophical/personal belief exemptions to vaccinations any longer if this passes the full Assembly.

Biotech industry marketers trying to fool the wary public by re-branding GMO products

In the same way Big Food makers tried to rename sugar in their products so that consumers wouldn't know that their favorite brands contained almost 75 percent empty calories, the mainstream media is trying to re-brand GMOs so that the public thinks the food creations are completely safe.

That's right. Just like Hilary Clinton advised biotech at a recent symposium, she thinks if customers just 'thought of GMOs differently' we would like them more.

Like putting a new coat of paint on a dilapidated shed and calling it a mansion, or prettying up our fall wardrobe with some new shoes - we just need a new 'name' for GMOs, and then we'd like eating something that could make us infertile while causing cancer and kidney failure.

In a recent article posted by the NY Times, the author goes on about how to give 'altering the DNA of plants' a new name. They don't call this genetic engineering at the University of Copenhagen. They're calling it re-wilding.

Comment: The industry has seen the writing on the wall - more and more people are now aware of the serious negative consequences of genetic engineering and want to avoid these products. Biotech firms will no doubt try anything and everything to prolong their revenue streams.

Ketogenic diets have grown in popularity over the last couple of decades, with more and more people becoming mindful about the science behind fat loss, and the benefits of low-carb dieting. But while many people are familiar with the concept of ketosis (the metabolic state where our bodies burn fat, instead of carbohydrate for fuel) - some may not realise how exercise fits in with a ketogenic diet, or indeed how exercise can actually be used to kick-start ketosis.

Being a low-carb dieter myself, I often see people posting questions about ketosis. The types of questions I see most commonly all seem to revolve around a common issue - what is the fastest, most efficient way to get into ketosis?

The answer to this is not as straight-forward as many would-be ketogenic dieters might hope it to be. Our bodies are clever machines - and we naturally first use up for energy what there is in abundance, which is most commonly carbohydrate. Ketogenic diets aim to reverse this process, by limiting carbohydrate intake.
