Black Dolphin: Russia's most secure supermax prison that no one has ever escaped from

Commonly known as the 'Black Dolphin,' Penal Colony No 6 holds Russia's worst murderers, terrorists and cannibals. RT offers a rare glimpse inside the maximum security prison, where inmates are subjected to rigid rules devised to subdue even the most dangerous villains.

Located in the Orenburg region bordering Kazakhstan, Black Dolphin is one of Russia's oldest prisons. Established in the 18th century following a bloody uprising known as the Pugachev rebellion, it later served as a prison hospital for inmates. In 2000, it was transformed into a maximum security prison. The facility, designed to hold 1,600 inmates, got its unofficial name from a fountain with a black dolphin set before the main entrance. This otherwise unremarkable sculpture is said to instill terror in the hearts of the most hardened criminals, thanks to the jail's ruthless reputation.

Black Dolphin holds serial killers, child molesters, terrorists and a motley crew of evildoers, serving life sentences for crimes ranging from murder to cannibalism. Some of the inmates being held in the correctional facility have committed crimes so grave that they have zero chance of parole.

Frenchies mock proposed ban on smoking in films

A proposal that France should ban the cigarette from the silver screen has been met with widespread derision and mockery among the French.

French cinema is full of images of stars like Brigitte Bardot and Gerard Depardieu delivering cool lines with a cigarette perfectly poised in one hand.

But all that could be about to end if Senator Nadine Grelet-Certenais gets her way after she reignited the debate over whether smoking should be shown on the big screen.

The film-making industry in France has long been accused of "normalizing" smoking and Grelet-Certenais said the industry is practically "advertising for the consumption of tobacco".

Birds of a feather: One talk show featured three sexual predators

Here is an interesting and cringeworthy video dug up from PBS archives, which orginally aired on March 10, 2015.

Kevin Spacey discusses his admiration and "bromance" with former President Bill Clinton on the Charlie Rose Show.

Kevin Spacey, Bill Clinton and Charlie Rose have all been outed as sexual predators at the very least, and rapists at the very worst.

Birds of a feather...

Comment: Surely, trips on the Lolita Express had nothing to do with the 'closeness' between Spacey and Bill Clinton.

Troy Worden, former president of the Berkeley College Republicans, has filed a motion seeking more than $100,000 of damages against Yvette Felarca, a member of the Antifa-affiliated By Any Means Necessary group, on the basis that she has repeatedly threatened and harassed Worden and others on campus.

According to a press release by one of Worden's lawyers, Mark Meuser, "Felarca filed a frivolous restraining order that restricted Worden's First and Second Amendment rights and made it difficult for him to move around the campus to attend classes. The restraining order was dismissed on Oct. 27, 2017."

Felarca, who is known for leading the violent BAMN organization, "is twice-over out on bail for charges of assault, resisting arrest, and inciting a riot," and has been interviewed by Fox News' Tucker Carlson for her role in leading the group.

"Felarca and her attorney attempted to make free speech expensive, and it is time that they pay for their misuse of the court system," said Meuser.

The teaching assistant who left an angry note on an ambulance blocking his driveway has revealed he has received death threats since the incident. Hassan Shabbir is said to be fearful for his family's safety after a note addressed to his home warned him: 'Death awaits you.'

The 27-year-old previously admitted that his decision to complain about the ambulance - paramedics were treating a man who later died - was 'monstrous'.

His note read: 'You may be saving lives, but don't park your van in a stupid place and block my drive.'

It went viral after it was posted online by furious paramedics.

The insanity for Black Friday bargains has reached new heights in the US, after one joke suggestion to sell a Walmart uniform to anyone seeking to skip ahead of the lines went viral and spawned dozens of similar but seemingly real offers.

It all reportedly started with Twitter user @OverlyLiked announcing he would be selling his Walmart vest for $100. "I'm selling this Walmart vest for $100," he wrote. "Use it to skip the line during Black Friday. You can even walk in, grab what you want, and walk out."

Although he tweeted it as a joke, which earned @OverlyLiked over 30,000 retweets and almost 80,000 likes, it wasn't long before he was being inundated with real requests to buy his shirt.

A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper was shot and killed on Thanksgiving during a routine traffic stop near Dallas. Police caught the suspect after a five-hour manhunt.

Trooper Damon Allen, 43, was shot and killed around 4pm, during a traffic stop on Interstate 45, some 90 miles south of Dallas, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) said. The man he pulled over shot Allen with a rifle, and then fled. The trooper died at the scene, the DPS said.

Hours after the shooting, the suspect's vehicle was spotted by Waller County Sheriff's Office northeast of Houston. The sheriff's office said on its Facebook page that shots were fired, but did not indicate who opened fire.

Dabrett Montreal Black, 32, was arrested "without incident" a short time later. He was treated for a dog bite, according to the DPS.

"Devastating" series of failures: Dead bodies lost, disfigured or returned to the wrong family by UK mortuaries

Dead bodies are being lost, disfigured or returned to the wrong families in what has been branded a "devastating" series of failures by NHS mortuary staff. It has prompted calls to treat the dead with the same care as living patients.

According to a study, which analyzed 132 incidents reported in England to a National Health Service (NHS) database between April 1, 2002 and March 31, 2013, at least five bodies went missing in the 11 years.

At least 25 sets of relatives were given the wrong body to bury or cremate. At least two families did not realize the mistake until they arrived at the funeral director.

The research, published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine, and the first in its kind, found that loopholes in protocol and procedures, or the failure to follow them, as well as poor communication and relaxed working practices, are to blame for the mortuary incidents.

Video hosting giant YouTube has begun clamping down on content showing children in vulnerable situations as well as disturbing material aimed at children. The move followed a wave of criticism against the video streaming service.

YouTube has "expanded its enforcement guidelines" concerning the removal of content featuring minors "that may be endangering a child, even if that was not the uploader's intent," Johanna Wright, vice president of product management said in a statement. She added the service also expanded its age-restriction policies on content featuring family entertainment characters in videos "containing mature themes or adult humor."

The statement published on the YouTube official blog Wednesday, also said the service had discovered a large number of videos that pretend to be family-friendly but are "clearly not." "While some of these videos may be suitable for adults, others are completely unacceptable," and the company is in the process of removing the content.
