Corporate and academic DEI offices imported H-1B workers to tell Americans they're racist

'It is alarming that both private companies and public institutions alike appear to be using foreign workers to work in [DEI] roles — placing non-Americans in positions where they are tasked with policing the speech and thought of our own citizens.'

American companies and institutions have utilized the notoriously abused H-1B work visa program to staff diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) offices, according to documents released by Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo.

"I've reviewed numerous examples of hospitals, universities and other employers hiring foreign H-1B workers as DEI bureaucrats," Schmitt said on social media. "Examples range from large banks and law firms to universities, healthcare systems, and even municipal park districts. Obviously, DEI positions are plainly non-technical and ideological in nature, and appear to fall outside the 'specialty occupation' intent of the H-1B statute."

Burning Battery Ejectors: The latest Chinese EV safety innovation

What could possibly go wrong?
The new, unusual solution to EV fires: High-speed battery ejection

New technology has been demonstrated in China that sees an electric vehicle's battery rapidly ejected to keep occupants safe from an imminent fire.
...

At an event earlier this month, new technology was demonstrated on Chery's iCar 03 that can see a vehicle's high-voltage battery ejected 3-6 metres away within a second of thermal runaway being detected.

It's ejected from the vehicle using a gas generator, much in the same way as an airbag works, with the idea to get the battery away from vehicle occupants before it catches fire.

In the demonstration video, shared across Chinese media including cnBeta, the battery is ejected with a bang into a nearby pit and then quickly shrouded.

However, there are naturally concerns over the high-speed ejection of a battery weighing potentially several hundred kilograms.
My first thought was, surely this is a joke. But if it is a joke, someone has gone to a lot of trouble to make it look real.

Washington Forcing Speeding Offenders To Install GPS Speed Limiters

City driving
Our nation's complete loss of freedom is, for sure, progressing on or ahead of schedule. The latest example? Washington is now forcing repeat speed offenders to install GPS-based speed limiters, joining a growing national trend that curbs how fast drivers can go, according to Ecoportal.

Under the new law, anyone caught driving 20 mph over the limit on highways — or 10 mph over on smaller roads — must use the limiter if they want their license back.

The device works like the breath-test locks used for DUIs, but instead of measuring alcohol, it tracks speed through GPS and electronically caps the car's top speed. Offenders must keep it installed for at least 120 days, or 150 if convicted of reckless driving. Drivers get only three temporary bypasses a month before the limiter locks them down completely. Refusing to comply means more penalties and longer suspensions.

Israel is trying to collapse the Palestinian Authority. The first step is destroying the Palestinian economy

As countries around the world recognize a Palestinian state, Israel is doing everything it can to prevent the possibility of any future state. One way it plans on doing that is through financial strangulation.

Following the wave of global recognitions of the State of Palestine from key Western and European nations, Israel has been stepping up its plans to render these gestures moot by implementing measures meant to cripple and delegitimize the Palestinian Authority (PA).

Earlier this month, Israel approved a massive settlement plan that would split the West Bank in two. Since October 7, 2023, it has plunged the PA into an economic crisis by withholding nearly 7 billion shekels (around $2 billion) in Palestinian customs money. And in recent months, the Israeli army has launched repeated invasions into the heart of Palestinian cities in the West Bank, ostensibly under PA control.

But Israel still hasn't used its most important trump card in responding to the recent Western and global recognitions of a Palestinian state. It involves a piece of paper, and the person holding it is Israel's hardline Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich.

Trump administration says it has located 25,000 missing illegal migrant children so far

immigrant children
The Trump administration recently confirmed that approximately 25,000 illegal migrant children have been located so far, out of approximately 300,000 missing children.

Trump border czar Tom Homan last week told reporters that he was called back to service with three main goals: Securing the border, running President Donald Trump's deportation effort, and finding the missing children who were brought into the United States illegally under the Biden administration.

"They've already located just under 25,000," Homan told Fox News. "Some of these children were fine, with parents just hiding because they didn't want to be deported. But many were in sex trafficking. Many we found in forced labor, slavery. I mean forced to work ungodly hours, not going to school. [They were] not getting paid, being abused."

A crazed sniper shot at least three immigrants — two fatally — as they were being led into an ICE facility to be processed early Wednesday, authorities said of the "monstrous" attack.

The unidentified gunman fired from a rooftop as agents led into the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement office just before 7 a.m. local time — just a month after there was a bomb threat there, Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News.

Police said that one died at the scene, with the gunman also found dead at a sniper's nest overlooking the carnage.

The dead did not include law enforcement, but there are "other injuries, with some in critical condition," McLaughlin said, calling it "monstrous."

From F-1 to green card: Student visas have become America's silent job killer

wall street statue little girl american flag
In December 2024, Vivek Ramaswamy made headlines for all the wrong reasons. On X, Ramaswamy openly declared that "the reason top tech companies often hire foreign-born & first-generation engineers over 'native' Americans isn't because of an innate American IQ deficit. ... A key part of it comes down to the c-word: culture."

He doubled down by mocking what he called a U.S. "culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ" and warning that "normalcy doesn't cut it in a hyper-competitive global market for technical talent."

These remarks were not just tone-deaf, they echoed a false, discriminatory narrative that has circulated for years: that America's graduates are unworthy and that corporations are justified in overlooking them for cheaper foreign labor. Ramaswamy's comments mirror the same tired excuse that has been used to erode fair hiring, perpetuate the abuse of visa loopholes and normalize the harsh reality young Americans now face, being massively locked out of jobs in their own country.

Strikes and blockades paralyze Italy in solidarity with Gaza

Italy protests in support of Palestine September22, 2025
Demonstrations are recorded in at least 80 cities, including Milan, Rome, Naples and Florence. The day began with blockades and paralysis in strategic locations such as ports and railways in support of the Palestinian people and against the genocide in Gaza.

A few weeks ago, port workers in Genoa threatened a total shutdown in case Israel stopped or touched the Global Sumud Flotilla, in which dozens of boats heading to Gaza to try to break the Israeli siege and blockade. This call for struggle was folded by student organizations that also threatened a paralysis.

Those pronouncements were the fuse of the most general and powerful action that has been deployed on Monday throughout Italy in solidarity with the Palestinian people including the main cities, with blockades, strikes, marches, and clashes with the police, which has responded with a brutal repression.

Lost your job because you celebrated a murder? Sorry, but that's not 'cancel culture.'

The American media have vacillated since 2013 between "cancel culture isn't real" and "cancel culture is a good thing." This week, they have decided finally that it's terrible.

The only problem is that what they now refer to as "cancel culture" isn't really so.

Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated in Utah last week by someone who appears to be a hard-core left-wing political fanatic. Immediately after Kirk was shot at long range in front of a massive crowd, hundreds if not thousands of everyday professionals, from teachers to veterinarians to nurses, took to social media, using their real faces and names, to celebrate his death. Some posted dances, others simple text. Some uploaded videos of themselves laughing maniacally about it.

Antifa: A very real and organized terror threat

antifa portland assault
In the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination as well as the confirmation that alleged killer Tyler Robinson is a far-left ideologue and gay man living with a transgender partner, the public's attention has once again turned to the issue of Antifa, an activist network that shares many similar political beliefs with the shooter.

Federal authorities are currently investigating the Discord sever groups used by Robinson in the lead up to the attack to find any potential co-conspirators. Discord has been identified as a common forum used by Antifa for organizing members for specific events while pretending as if their protests are random and "grassroots".

In the meantime, the corporate media is once again running interference for Antifa, claiming that the group is nothing more than a gaggle of disconnected people without no affiliation other than they "agree to oppose fascists".

Of course, simply declaring yourself the "good guys" does not necessarily make it so.
