Russian Investigative Committee is hard at work. Working stubbornly, gently, persistently, collecting information about all the crimes of Ukrainian military and punitive volunteer battalions. It turns out that quietly, without much noise, a giant amount of evidence about the crimes of Ukrainian armed forces and volunteer battalions is being compiled. The evidence, which sooner or later will come in handy.

This was confirmed by Savchenko's lawyer, Ilya Novikov.

Savchenko's lawyer Ilya Novikov was struck by the volume of documents collected from interviewing the residents of Donbass and told Ukrainian media. "There is the so-called "big Ukrainian case" under number 201/837072 - 14. It was called the "big Ukrainian case" among the lawyers, but during the trial against Savchenko suddenly it became clear that the investigators call it the same," - he said, adding that as of fall 2015 more than 100 thousand witnesses have been questioned, 15 thousand were recognized as victims. "Several rooms at the Investigative Committee are filled with cabinets with volumes of this case, more than 20 investigators are working on it. And from this case, in principle, you can "pinch off" a piece and send it to court," he said.

What does it mean? That Russia without much fanfare is gathering evidence of crimes. For what? I am sure that this is not done in vain. And that the perpetrators and punishers will appear before our court. And that these tons of evidence will be a good argument to prove the genocide of Donbass population, and at the right time to finally resolve the Donbass issue.

How much more is going on behind the scenes that we don't know about? You can, of course, laugh at "Putin's cunning plans" and other things. But de facto LDPR [Lugansk and Donetsk Republics] are already fully dependent and controlled from Russia. The laws of the republics are being adjusted to ours. Management system, education, etc. - everything is being changed to our standards. Do you think this is all coincidence? I don't believe in such coincidences...

Two news stories caught my eye yesterday in the media coverage of Tuesday's attacks in Brussels. The first was a Newsmax TV report featuring former NYC Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik giving his proposed strategy to defeat Daesh and stop future terrorist attacks. If the name Kerik rings a bell, it's because he commanded New York's police during 9/11. But more on that below; here's what wisdom he had to impart:

"They [Belgian intelligence] didn't have enough intel to figure out who they [the 'terrorists'] were, where they were, what they were doing — and this is in the aftermath of taking down the mastermind of the Paris attacks. ... The key is intelligence. Our state, local and federal authorities have to be communicating. We have to be working with those abroad."

Thanks, Bernie, for that remarkable insight. (Hey, at least it's better than Killary's plan to defeat ISIS by defeating ISIS.)

The second story was the report that one of the suspects in the attack at Brussels' Zaventem Airport, Ibrahim El Bakraoui, left a 'suicide letter' or rudimentary 'will' on a computer that was subsequently found in a trash can during a raid by Brussels police in the Schaerbeek neighborhood. The note allegedly said: "I don't know what to do, hunted everywhere, no longer safe" and "I don't want to end up in a cell next to him [i.e. Salah Abdeslam, presumably]." The street in which they found the laptop allegedly was also where police found an unexploded bomb, an ISIS flag and bomb-making materials.

There are many signs pointing to a false flag attack in Brussels on 3-22-16. Independent and alternative media, as usual, has been right on top of the story catching many of the usual oddities, lies and coincidences which are characteristic of false flags and are now piling on top of each other as they always do. And here's another thing everyone should take note of; something we also observed during the Paris attacks on 11-13-15. As we saw in the Paris attacks, once again we're seeing a "global" component to the "reaction" phase of the usual problem-reaction-solution dialectic employed by the controllers. Look for it. Problem at point A, subsequent "reaction" to the problem at point B, all the way on the other side of the world. This then leads to a "solution" that applies to both point A and B. This also serves to endorse the illusion that the bogeymen, in this case ISIS of course, involved in the Brussels attack are somehow everywhere at once.

One of the key purposes of this event, among other purposes like maintaining an excuse for U.S. military intervention in Syria, is to reinforce the need for a global police which is being sold as a "global solution" to a "global problem." This global police state is a very clear agenda of the U.S., NATO and the U.N. This entire event is also designed to push the Authorization for Unlimited Military Force (AUMF) the Pentagon wants so badly and it's a perfect quick and easy event in NATO's and the European Union's home turf to push for all of these goals at once. What am I talking about?

The legislation committee of Russia's lower house has recommended passing in the second reading a bill ordering up to four years in prison for possession of child pornography without intent of distribution.

The bill was drafted in mid-2012 by representatives of three Duma caucuses - the parliamentary majority United Russia and the opposition parties LDPR and Fair Russia. If passed, it would change the existing practice of punishment only for the distribution and advertising of pornographic materials involving children (this offense can carry from two to eight years behind bars).

The lawmakers preparing the bill for the second reading rewrote the definition of child pornography, as required by the Duma committee. The ban now covers all materials with pictures or descriptions of genitalia of underage persons or sexual relations involving such persons, with exceptions for materials that have recognized historical or cultural significance or those prepared for medical, scientific or educational purposes in accordance with the existing laws. The new draft also recognizes as child pornography any materials featuring adult actors posing as underage persons. The age of majority in Russia is 18.

The second reading into the bill is scheduled for mid-April and its sponsors hold that barring any major obstructions, the ban will come into force from January 1, 2017.

According to the report presented by members of Russia's Public Chamber in late 2014, the lack of a precise definition of child pornography and working laws to counter it have caused a critical situation with the sexual exploitation of children in the country. The activists named the existence of the "personal use" loophole as one of the major obstructions law enforcers faced when fighting child porn dealers.

"Criminal responsibility for possession of pornography, especially if it depicts minors, is a necessary measure that reflects the community's very urgent problem. Porn dealers and entire international cartels specializing in this business cannot emerge from nowhere. And no normal person would keep such materials," Elena Sutormina, one of the authors of the report, said in comments with Izvestia Daily.

It took four months for Salah Abdeslam - one of the alleged commando members on Paris 11.13 - to be captured in Brussels after a shootout. He never escaped to Syria; he never moved away from his known digs in Molenbeek.

It took only four days for the next plot twist — a coordinated jihadi attack at Brussels airport and a metro station only 500 meters away from the EU headquarters.

Under a blowback scenario, this was largely predictable. Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders had even warned during the weekend attacks were imminent. More worrying is the leak that Belgian secret services — as well as Western intel agencies — had "precise" info about the risk of an attack at the airport and a probable attack on the metro.

Even more significantly, and before the arrest of Abdeslam, none other than neo-Ottoman Sultan Erdogan, leader of a key "NATO ally", had seen the writing on the wall; "There is no reason why the bomb that exploded in Ankara cannot explode in Brussels, in any other European city." Erdogan was, of course, drawing a nasty, false connection between Kurds and Salafi-jihadis, yet he sounded like he was delivering a mix of prophecy and threat.

A scandal is unfolding in Croatia after it was revealed it had bought Soviet-era MiG-21 jets - now unable to fly - that were assembled from dubious parts by Ukraine. The Croatian defense minister has threatened to shoot himself if any wrongdoing in the deal is proved.

Croatian security services and the Defense Ministry have launched an investigation into a 2013 military deal with a Ukrainian company, which is said to have undermined the air force's combat capabilities.

Under the contract, Croatia paid over $21 million to repair and modernize seven Soviet-era MiG-21 fighter jets at Ukrainian plants, and to purchase another five aircraft of the same type there.

But those five MiG-21s were never sold by the Ukrainians "as such," Jutarnji List newspaper has revealed. In fact, the aircraft were reportedly assembled from dubious obsolete parts coming from all over the world.

Russia does not want war and has no intention of sending troops to European countries, Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov has said, adding that mass media must stop spreading 'scare stories' about the Russian military 'threat.'

"We should stop the spreading of these scary tales alleging that Russia intends to send tanks to the Baltic countries, to Sofia or Budapest. No one has any intention to do this. There are no such plans. Russia wants no war. Any statements that say that Russia intends to launch a war are simply ridiculous," Antonov said in an interview with Deutsche Welle.

"It is a very old trick in the Baltic states - to shout 'Russians are coming! Save yourselves while you still can!' It works, it has proven its effectiveness in getting more defense spending for governments and in getting financial aid from such countries as Germany, France or Italy," the Russian official noted.

Speculation over potential Russian aggression against its neighbors in Eastern Europe as well as other nations has appeared frequently over the past few years. Russian officials have rejected such reports as scaremongering and as attempts to hide real problems behind fiction.

Since the Turkish Army began its operation against Kurdish militia in December, there has been an escalation of violence and "clear use of heavy weaponry" in residential areas, Andrew Gardner, a Turkey expert with Amnesty International, told RT. Gardner said the curfew imposed in the areas inhabited by Kurds is an "unacceptable limitation of rights of the people" there, limiting their ability to access food and necessary services each day.

Earlier this month, RT launched a petition calling for a UNHRC-led investigation into claims of alleged mass killing of Kurdish civilians said to have been committed by the Turkish military during Ankara's crackdown on Kurds in the southeast. Amnesty International promised to examine the facts outlined in RT's petition calling for a probe into alleged mass killings of Kurdish civilians by the Turkish military after the NGO's "selective" approach was criticized by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

On Monday, Gardner commented to RT that, just like any other international observers, Amnesty International monitors were not allowed access to the curfew-affected areas.

The bombings in Brussels on Tuesday appear to have targeted Americans in Belgium, according to the top lawmaker on the US House Intelligence Committee.

"From my vantage point, it does look like an attack on Americans. It looks like it was targeted toward Americans to some degree," Rep. Devin Nunes (R-California) told reporters on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, Reuters reported.

Nunes said his suggestion was based on where the suicide bombers decided to detonate their explosives: The blast at the Brussels airport took place near stands belonging to US airlines American, Delta and United. The blast at the Metro station, meanwhile, was near the US Embassy.

"With all that said, if you're going to pick some locations where you might hit Americans, those would be the locations," he said, as quoted by The Hill newspaper.

A video purportedly made by an Islamic State (formerly ISIS/ISIL) follower threatens London with a terror attack, and claims British transport and political hubs Heathrow, Gatwick and Downing Street "are next."


The video shows a man in a balaclava addressing the camera with a British accent.

"Belgium, Brussels airport... Big boom went off, innit! Heathrow, Gatwick, Downing Street... You're next," he says.

The unverified video comes just days after an Islamic State suicide bomb attack on Brussels killed 34 people and injured more than 200. The attacks were carried out at Zaventem Airport and Maakbeel Metro station in central Brussels. Both took place during the morning rush hour.
