Turkey's Department of Telecommunications and Communication (TIB) lifted the ban on Sputnik website, according to the head of Sputnik Turkey.

"Our website is unblocked in Turkey. Starting 10 a.m. Moscow time we began to receive messages from users that the website is accessible again. We started checking this information and it is actually working," Mahir Boztepe said.

The website of Sputnik's Turkish bureau was blocked on April 14 by the Turkish telecommunications regulator. Turkey's Golbasi District court backed the decision. The former chief editor of Sputnik's Turkish bureau, Tural Kerimov, was denied entry to Turkey, stripped of his accreditation and residence permit in the country.

Pakistan hospital blast kills up to 93, at least 120 injured: ISIS claims responsibility

Pakistan hospital blast
© Naseer Ahmed / ReutersFirst responders and volunteers transport the injured and dead away from the scene of a bomb blast outside a hospital in Quetta, Pakistan August 8, 2016.
Casualties from a terrorist attack in Baluchistan, Pakistan, have risen to at least 63, with some media reporting as many as 93 casualties and over 100 wounded, citing health officials.

It comes after an explosion rang out at the entrance of a hospital's emergency ward, apparently targeting lawyers.

As confirmed earlier, most of the victims were lawyers and journalists who had gathered at the hospital following the killing of the former president of the Baluchistan Bar Association, Bilal Anwar Kasi. Authorities believe the blast was intended for those who had gathered to accompany Kasi's body.

The Khorasan province branch of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) has claimed responsibility for the attack. The group and other militants have been known to routinely target government and security forces in the province.

Our world is run by psychopaths

The war on terror, economic disasters, racial wars, big pharma and food quality/modification. When you look at our world today you have to wonder how we got here.

It was in my later years of high school that I began to feel relief about something that bothered me for a long time: I started to realize how the world really works. Now at 29 years old, I've interviewed, met with and worked with many of the top researchers in the field of truth seeking and several conclusions are clear, but one more than others: our world is run by psychopaths.

I want to be very clear here, this is not meant to be a judgment, to rile up our emotions and call these people evil, no. This is about coming to a stark realization about what's really going on in our world so that we can actually change it.
"As difficult as it was for me, I've come to an inescapable and profoundly disturbing conclusion. I believe that an elite group of people and the corporations they run have gained control over not just our energy, food supply, education, and healthcare, but over virtually every aspect of our lives; and they do it by controlling the world of finance. Not by creating more value, but by actually controlling the source of money." - Foster Gamble

Best of the Web: BREAKING: Aleppo battle updates - SAA now have the advantage

aleppo
Green: foreign-backed 'rebels'. Red: SAA and allies.
Total Overview - Aleppo Battle now favors SAA (August 8)

Recap:
  • The siege has not been 'broken' in strategic terms, but the situation was fluid through most of August 7th - 'rebels' from each side have connected, but are under constant shelling and fire, and cannot make use of this
  • The 'rebel' sally was an act of planned desperation
  • 'Rebel' forces have experienced a 30-50% casualty rate
  • The 'rebel' gains of late August 6th have been largely rolled back
  • The SAA 'liberated bridge' (see map above and below) remains in SAA hands
  • The military academy was retaken by the end of the 6th, Tigers were involved
  • Hezbollah's Special Forces heavy involvement confirmed
  • The 'rebels' have gone through all their heavy tanks and are left with medium tanks
  • Russian bombing sorties were used strategically in places where 'rebel' groupings were drawn/lured using tactical withdraw - see video below
  • SAA and allies losses have been comparatively low (withdraws were tactical in nature)
  • SAA successfully brought in reinforcements
  • The maps are only misleading insofar as the SAA holding of west Aleppo would otherwise appear as a potential cauldron - but only the SAA has access to air force
Trivia:
  • The group that decapitated the boy have been positively identified in this battle (still alive as of now) - see video below
  • Radar equipment in Aleppo used by 'rebels' is reported to have been found, and is of the type used by Turkey

Comment: Sputnik also reports that the terrorists in east Aleppo remain surrounded; all supply lines are controlled by the Syrian army. A Syrian militia fighter told Sputnik that during the last 10 days, the Syrian army and associated militias killed 2,000 of the attacking terrorists. The Syrians and Russians bombed the al-Qaeda base of operations in Idlib city, just 40 miles away from Aleppo and which is used by AQ as a staging ground for the offensive on Aleppo. Paranoia is in bloom: Hillary ally accuses Green Party's Jill Stein of being 'Trump-like Russian agent'

The Clinton campaign's rush into the comforting arms of McCarthyism to dodge the scandal around the WikiLeaks DNC file dump has now gone completely off the rails.

As was first noticed by The Intercept's Glenn Greenwald via Twitter: John Aravosis, the editor of the pro-Hillary AMERICAblog and a former colleague of the presidential candidate during his time with the Children's Defense Fund, penned an attack editorial against Jill Stein on Saturday alleging that the anti-war Green Party candidate was somehow in league with Russia.

The article begins by noting that she visited Moscow last winter to attend a conference hosted by RT, which Aravosis calls "the Russian state propaganda organ" in order to call for an end to decades-long war and a militaristic policy that favors defense spending over serving the needs of the people.

"Putin himself joined Stein and other attendees for dinner," said Aravosis calling it a "sign of how much importance Moscow put on the conference." But, according to Aravosis, not only were both Putin and Stein at the dinner, but they sat at the same table. The plot thickens!

Battle for Aleppo: Russian airstrikes rock artillery college, Al-Nusra after siege broken

The victory for al-Nusra Front and allied anti-Assad Islamist rebel groups, which are strangely backed by the United States, suggests that the "groundbreaking" victory for the terror groups may be short-lived

Washington-backed 'moderate' rebels, including a freshly rebranded al-Nusra Front (al-Qaeda) and the violent Islamist group Ahrar al-Sham breached the Syrian government siege in the city of Aleppo on Saturday opening a corridor in the south marking a major setback for the Syrian Army supported by Russian airpower.

The United States claims that al-Nusra Front is not part of the 'moderate' group that is being supported, but by the admission of social media posts by al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham controlled accounts in the wake of the rebel breakthrough the two groups are intertwined in their fight in opposition to the Assad regime.

Deal with U.S. has some saying 'Russia has won the proxy war in Syria'

Commenting on the recent developments in the Syrian conflict and the agreement between Russia and the US on the coordination of bombing missions in the country, many media sources now agree that Moscow has the upper hand in the conflict and its agreement with the US will grant it and its ally Iran the final victory.

"Russia has won the proxy war, at least for now," Michael Kofman, a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington told the New York Times.

The statement refers to the recently announced agreement between Russia and the US on a plan to share intelligence and coordinate airstrikes against the Islamic State and other militant groups in Syria.

Earlier in July, US officials put forward a proposal that would see Russian and US air forces conduct joint strikes against Daesh and Al-Nusra Front, an Al-Qaeda branch in Syria.

Evil Rays

Propaganda, programming and the U.S. war against Putin

Propaganda

If it had not already been apparent, the net effect of the DNC email hack has been to kick open the door to a deep American antagonism towards Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In what has become an old fashioned American pile-on, President Barack Obama, Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party and what seems the entire political establishment as well as the MSM, have united to undermine Putin as if to prime the American public for war with Russia.

War is, after all, more successful when the people have been thoroughly programmed. For instance, for a war-weary American public 'we are bombing civilians out of a humanitarian necessity' may work well. If necessary, a little hysteria wouldn't hurt but most of all, a necessary requirement is to efficiently tutor the public consciousness to despise the adversary. In this case, Clinton has identified Putin as the adversary and that he is one evil reincarnation of Adolf Hitler.

Among media outlets, Politico, once considered a 'liberal' magazine ran "Inside's Putin's Information War" whose author has found a lucrative book deal on the subject and yes, this is the same Politico that requested DNC permission to publish re the Sanders/Clinton primary. The Times of London joined the effort to demonize Putin with several anti Russian articles over the weekend including "Putin's Information War" which ran on July 30th followed by "Inside Putin's Info War on America' in the Wall Street Journal on July 31st. Keep your eyes peeled as the "Putin Info War" concept is sure to catch on.

Erdogan says it's not over, Turkey prepared for second coup attempt

The Turkish President may be trying to play up fears within the country in a bid to garner more support from the public in the midst of a violent purge that has seen over 15,000 arrested and the country's civil services ripped to shreds.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Hurriyet news that he did not believe that the July 15 coup attempt was the final act in the effort to overthrow his government and vowed to take further steps against the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETO) who he blamed first and foremost for the attempted government overthrow despite saying recently that Fethullah Gulen was but a "pawn" for a superior power while his government laid blame directly at the feet of the US military and American intelligence.

"The superior mind is playing ruthlessly," said Erdogan during a press conference at the Huber Mansion in Istanbul. "I do not believe this thing [coup attempt] is over. We will not be come by languor."

The Turkish President also downplayed the notion that his life was in peril during the failed coup attempt when a fighter jet controlled by coup plotters followed over his plane within striking distance before having to be grounded for refueling. Instead, Erdogan suggests that the F-16 fighter jets did not have bombs to strike his plane.

Comment: Is a second coup very likely, given that Erdogan's government has presumably hamstrung the Fethullahist fifth column? He's right about one thing: the U.S. isn't done with interfering in Turkish affairs and subverting Turkish sovereignty and democracy. The question is just what means they will now use.

One thing's still clear: Erdogan retains popular support. Hundreds of thousands gathered this weekend in Istanbul for pro-government demonstrations. PM Yildirim told the crowd: "Let all of you know, the leader of this terrorist group will come to Turkey and pay for what he did." The main opposition leader in Turkey is calling for political unity: "We must not let politics into mosque, courts and barracks."

WikiLeaks leaked email: Hillary supplied cash, weapons and tanks to al-Qaeda to kill Gaddafi and ship weapons for terrorists

leaked Clinton email
© Wikileaks
A confidential intelligence email obtained by True Pundit provides proof that President Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton created a secret and illegal alliance between the United States and a faction of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization to ultimately assassinate Libyan strongman Muammar Gaddafi and distribute weapons to Middle Eastern terror groups, intelligence sources confirm.

The March 2011 email, sent to Clinton's private email server from intelligence consultant and long-time confidant Sidney Blumenthal, provides devastating overt and covert revelations of how the United States, under Clinton's Dept. of State, secretly violated a number of domestic and international laws by colluding with foreign governments and the terrorist organization and its leaders to conduct rogue foreign policy. The information in the email, coupled with corroboration and background from intelligence sources, highlight egregious political and legally questionable abuses including:

*Clinton directly aligned and allied with Al-Qaeda and its fanatics to overthrow, assassinate Gaddafi.

*Clinton directly armed and commissioned known terrorists and sworn foes with weapons in Libya, a direct violation of UN Security Council resolution 1973, which called for a complete arms embargo on Libya.

*Clinton and Obama together financed Al-Qaeda to overthrow Libyan government and stockpile weapons, including tanks and heavy artillery, which were ultimately shipped from Libya to terror factions in Syria and elsewhere.

*According to intelligence sources, many of the weapons supplied to Al-Qaeda factions were believed to have be used against Americans in the Sept. 11 2012 Benghazi attacks that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, and two CIA operatives, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, both former Navy SEALs. Stevens is the first U.S. ambassador killed in an attack since Adolph Dubs was killed in 1979.
