NBC's Abigail Williams asked State Department spokesperson Elizabeth Trudeau whether there was any improper relationship between State and the Clinton Foundation.

US State Department spokesperson Elizabeth Trudeau is working overtime trying to cover up and dodge the many questions being thrown at her regarding the latest Hillary Clinton scandal.

Instead of actually answering reporters' questions regarding the fact that Hillary Clinton's staff at the State Department were handing out favors to Clinton Foundation donors, Trudeau tried to steer the conversation towards the "55,000" organisations that US State Department officials do come in contact with on a daily basis.

Trudeau was trying to bury reporters in paperwork, hoping they would not stay on point...which in this case involves examining the very close ties between the State Department and the Clinton Foundation, when it was headed by the Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump had made waves again, telling supporters that President Barack Obama "founded" Islamic State and calling his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton the terrorist group's co-founder. The GOP nominee's description of Obama and Clinton as having founded Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) is not new. However, Trump has doubled down on his attacks as the election nears, blaming the foreign policy of the former secretary of state for the mess in Iraq and Syria.

At the Wednesday rally in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Trump said that IS "in many respects" honors Obama. "He's the founder of ISIS. He's the founder of ISIS. He's the founder. He founded ISIS," Trump told the raucous crowd of supporters, adding, "I would say the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton."

Turkey's coup: Gulen's Hizmet network involvement backed by circumstantial evidence

Circumstantial evidence exists that Islamic cleric Fethullah Gulen's Hizmet network supported the military coup to oust Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, former US Ambassador to Turkey Ross Wilson told Sputnik.

"The fact is the coup was carried out in part by the military but with the support of a substantial civilian network," Wilson said. "The only organization that has that kind of network and can operate in a secret manner would be the Gulen Movement. There is at least circumstantial evidence that points in that direction."

The Turkish government, Wilson noted, has issued an arrest warrant for Gulen and US Department of Justice officials traveled to Ankara this week to assess the evidence, Wilson noted. Erdogan claims that Gulen is responsible for instigating the coup from his residence-in-exile in Saylorsburg, located in the US state of Pennsylvania.

Gulen denies involvement and has hired the powerful Washington, DC, law firm of Steptoe and Johnson to fight Turkey's extradition request.

Comment: Circumstantial evidence is not enough to nail Gulen or Hizmet network to the coup. It does, however, raise questions and points to a direction of investigation. Other hidden networks are possibly as capable and off the radar, but Gulen's is far and away the most likely.

In many of my past articles I have tried to show that the terrorists which have committed the recent atrocities in the USA, Europe and elsewhere were not really motivated by Islamic values at all and that the rulers of the AngloZionist Empire are trying to create a "clash of civilizations" narrative in which the western world and the Islamic world are on a collision course. They way they do that is simple: they identify psychologically weak individuals, the types that religious sects always prey on, and they then provide them with a thin layer of pseudo-Islam to rationalize their alienation and give them an ideological pretext to strike out and murder members of the society they hate so much.My evidence is simple: if you look at what we find out about the perpetrators you will see that they are typically sexually promiscuous, often homosexuals, that they drink, use prostitutes and engage in many types of activities which are categorically forbidden in Islam. Furthermore, in most cases the perpetrators do not have even an intermediate level Islamic education and their newly-found "Islamism" is either gathered on the social media or the result of maybe one trip to a Muslim country. Simply put these so-called "Islamic terrorists" are not so much Muslims, as they are your common, garden variety type of maladapted losers, frustrated unhappy types with a weak psyche and a desire for revenge.

Each time I wrote this I was accused of "whitewashing Islam" or of denying the obvious: that Islam is aggressive and a threat to the western world. The first accusation is a rather crude ad hominem used to avoid discussing the issue and reduce it all to my putative sympathies for Islam. And since ad hominems cannot be logically challenged, I will focus instead on the second accusation: that Islam is a threat to the western world.

Let's begin with some basics first. "Islam" is an extremely diverse religion which over the centuries has been adopted in countries ranging from Morocco to Indonesia. To speak of "Islam" without adding some kind of narrowing qualifier to that word is simply nonsensical. Just as it would be ridiculously unfair to lump Orthodox Christians with the Papist Crusaders (if only because the former were also victims of the latter), it is ridiculously unfair to lump the Takfiri crazies of Daesh or al-Qaeda with, say, the Shia (if only because in this case the latter were victims of the fomer).

Comment: There are so many accurate points that this entire article could be bolded. The "clash of civilizations" narrative is a pure psy-op. There is a very real virus that threatens to engulf the whole of Afro-Eurasia (if not the world), and it comes in the form of an ideology and an army aided and abetted by the psychopathic 'Masters of the Universe' in the West in order to: 1) Neutralize the leaders and biggest threats to their uni-polar world (Russia and China), 2) Prevent any kind of integration or cooperation between countries and 3) Give them a constant Orwellian boogeyman to clamp down on their local populations and keep them in fear.

With point 3 comes their strategy of condemning ALL Muslims as being part of this virus, while out of the other side of their mouths in the 'liberal' media they are soft and forgiving on Muslims, prompting right-wing elements to grow in society and demand that their leaders do something about the 'Muslim problem'!

Put this all together, and we are heading for Nazi Germany 2.0, probably a whole lot worse. Don't be duped into it.

"Germany calling, Germany calling, Germany calling." During the Second World War, those words meant only one thing - that William Joyce was on the radio and spewing his unique brand of anti-British bile.

Known as "Lord Haw Haw," the American-born Joyce tried to convince the British public, in a sneering and sarcastic tone, that resistance to the Nazi military machine was futile and defeat was inevitable. From Berlin, he blasted out crude agitprop about the weakness of Britain, and its leaders, and the superiority of the German system.

Nowadays, a few hundred kilometers down the road in Prague, there's an heir to "Lord Haw Haw's" crown of thorns. The dubious honor belongs to Brian Whitmore of the American state-broadcaster RFE/RL, who sits in front of a wall mounted image of Moscow's Kremlin, five days a week, and tells the world how awful the country is. The video blog, known as the "Daily Vertical" is such a laugh that I've been keeping an occasional eye on it since its host became embroiled in a public spat with the noted journalist Ben Aris.

IRMEP files lawsuit against U.S. govt for illegal aid to nuclear Israel

A lawsuit filed in federal court in Washington, D.C. claims that United States aid to Israel is illegal under a law passed in the 1970s that prohibits aid to nuclear powers that don't sign the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

The lawsuit was filed by Grant Smith, director of the Institute for Research: Middle East Policy (IRMEP).

The lawsuit comes as the Obama administration is pushing to finalize a ten-year memorandum of understanding which will reportedly boost aid to Israel to $4 billion per year.

Such aid violates longstanding bans on foreign aid to non-signatories to the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT) with nuclear weapons programs, the lawsuit alleges.

Since the bans went into effect, U.S. foreign aid to Israel is estimated to be $234 billion.

Comment: A little known aspect of Kennedy's foreign policy was his insistence that Israel stop its nuclear program. In May 1963, he warned Ben Gurion that if Israel didn't allow inspectors to Dimona, Israel would find itself completely isolated. The Israeli PM was not pleased and abruptly resigned. Six months later, Kennedy was assassinated. It would be a blessing to JFK's memory of Symington's work were to vindicate Kennedy's position, and isolate the Israeli regime for their unacknowledged weapons of mass destruction. (Symington was JFK's first choice to be his VP.)

From the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to the Southern Common Market (Mercosur) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Washington has been playing a dangerous game of intrigue and deception with regard to steering these organizations in a pro-American direction. The Obama administration has decided that the halls, offices, and conference rooms of international organizations are acceptable battlefields to wage propaganda and sanctions wars.

The first American target of note was the international football association, FIFA. Not content with trying to sully the reputation of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics with issues of gay rights and doping of athletes, the US disinformation boiler rooms began a full-scale attack on FIFA. The major reason is Russia's hosting of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The US Justice Department, in a major move toward the internationalization of domestic US law, began unsealing indictment after indictment of FIFA officials for financial crimes. The actual target of these indictments was Russia.

The United States, continuing its economic and political pressure on Venezuela, decided to pressure its three right-wing allies in Latin America - Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay - to deny the chair of the Mercosur customs union to Venezuela. After Uruguay, whose term was expiring, the next country in alphabetical order to assume the chair of the Latin American customs union was to be Venezuela. However, two countries where the Central Intelligence Agency arranged for constitutional coups to oust progressive presidents - Brazil and Paraguay - joined Argentina, ruled by a right-wing president narrowly elected in a dubious electoral process, in denying the chair to Venezuela.

Washington, D.C. - Contained within WikiLeaks' recent release of hacked DNC emails is a message from billionaire globalist financier George Soros, to Hillary Clinton while she was U.S. Secretary of State, that clearly reveals Clinton as a puppet of the billionaire class.

Found within the WikiLeaks' Hillary Clinton email archive is an email with the subject 'Unrest in Albania,' in which Soros makes clear to Clinton that "two things need to be done urgently." He then directs the Secretary of State to "bring the full weight of the international community to bear on Prime Minister Berisha" and "appoint a senior European official as mediator."

Revealing the influence he wields within the corridors of power, Soros then provides Secretary of State Clinton with three names from which to choose. Unsurprisingly, Clinton acquiesced and chose one of the officials recommended by Soros — Miroslav Lajcak.

This is standard operating procedure for Soros. Anyone familiar with the history of the Soros Open Society Foundations in Eastern Europe and around the world since the late 1980's, will know that his supposedly philanthropic "democracy-building" projects in Poland, Russia, or Ukraine in the 1990's allowed Soros the businessman to literally plunder the former communist countries wealth, according to the New Eastern Outlook.

This year the World Social Forum is being held in Montreal, regrouping committed social activists, anti-war collectives and prominent intellectuals.

Most of the participants are unaware that the WSF is funded by corporate foundations including Ford, Rockefeller, Tides, et al. Much of this funding is channelled to the WSF organizers under the helm of the WSF International Council.

This is an issue which has been raised on numerous occasions with progressive organizations and WSF activists: you cannot effectively confront neoliberalism and the New World Order elites and expect them to finance your activities.

The World Social Forum operating under the banner of "Another World is Possible" was founded in 2001 at its inaugural venue of Porto Alegre. Brazil.

From the outset in 2001, the WSF has been upheld as an international umbrella representing grassroots people's organizations, committed to reversing the tide of globalization. Its stated intent is to challenge corporate capitalism and its dominant neoliberal economic agenda.

In contrast, at the Tunis 2013 WSF, the final declaration paid lip service to to the US sponsored "Syrian opposition". Similarly the Al Qaeda affiliated Libya Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) which allegedly led the "Arab Spring" against the government of Muammar Gaddafi was tacitly upheld as a revolutionary force. Several workshops on Libya applauded Western military intervention. A session entitled "Libya's transition to democracy" focused on "whether Libya was better off without Muammar Gaddafi."

Among the latest batch of internal NSA documents leaked by whistleblower Edward Snowden are tips for analysts on what to notice about media leaks, playing catch-up over intelligence, and medical surveillance.

On Wednesday, The Intercept released a batch of 263 internal agency reports, called 'SIDToday', from the agency's most important division, the Signals Intelligence Directorate. Dating back to 2003, the documents reveal the department's culture and operations with a roster of tips on training analysts to spot leaks to the media, internet monitoring, and notices about seminars on Latin American countries.

Among them is a notice of a three day seminar titled Latin America: Moving Outside the US Sphere of Influence? with the focus on "the rise of populist and left-of-center leaders in Latin America over the past five years and what effects this will have on US policy in the region." "Special attention will be directed toward the factors that have led to the rise of these leaders such as: government incapacity, corruption, weak judicial systems, lack of security, human rights abuses..." said the notice in SIDToday from November 2003.
