Iran has reportedly formed what it calls the "Liberation Army" whose units will be deployed in Arab countries, according to a news website.

Currently, Iran is involved in multiple conflicts where Shia and Sunni Muslims are locked in a power struggle, notably Syria and Yemen.

Mohammad Ali Al Falaki, a retired commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said in an interview published on Thursday by Mashregh News that Iran is fighting on three fronts: Iraq, Syria and Yemen.

Iran "created the Liberation Army in Syria under the leadership of Qassem Soleimani", said Falaki, who leads forces in Syria.

Progress in Aleppo: Syrian army regaining advantage

Reports from the fighting on the southwestern approaches to the city suggest that the Syrian army may be close to recapturing the 'Aleppo artillery base' thereby confirming the failure of the rebel counteroffensive in Aleppo.

The fog of war lies heavy over Aleppo, with competing claims by both sides that are rarely reliable.

This is not necessarily because anyone is setting out to deceive. Rather it is because in such closely fought fighting as is now taking place in southwestern Aleppo those fighting on the front lines have more important things to do than brief the media.

Nonetheless the information that is dribbling out suggests that over the last few days the Syrian army and its Hezbollah allies have been steadily regaining ground in southwest Aleppo.

It seems that the Syrian military may have succeeded in re-entering the grounds of what is sometimes called "the Aleppo artillery base" and may have managed to encircle the Jihadi rebels there.

On August 10, 2016, a number of media rebroadcast the sensational news by the British newspaper The Telegraph: "The regime's new crime - North Korean builders who are erecting a 70-story skyscraper in Pyongyang at the order of Kim Jong-un are being force-fed a methamphetamine drug to accelerate the construction process and meet the deadlines".

The skyscraper - a complex of apartment buildings of varying height located on Ryomyong Street, is being built by hundreds of thousands (yes, the news article provides exactly the same citation) of people at a truly accelerated pace. However, what would happen to the builders if they did not meet the deadline is "commonly knowledge". Therefore, the foremen on the construction sites are under great pressure, and the builders are very tired and just do not have enough strength to finish the job in time.

In this way, according to the authors of the news article, the malicious foremen are openly giving the banned drug to the builders, in the hope that it will help speed up the process of erecting the building, since users of crystal meth have a sense of euphoria, increased performance, and decreased appetite. The effect of this drug can last up to 12 hours, and its production is being supported at the state level.

According to FloridaBullDog.org (a big publication here in the state), "Gov. Rick Scott has an undisclosed financial interest in a Zika mosquito control company in which his wife, Florida First Lady Ann Scott, owns a multi-million dollar stake through a private investment firm she co-owns."

That's right folks, it appears Scott isn't just concerned about the well-being of Floridians but the cash to be made via Mosquito Control Services LLC of Metairie, LA. Perhaps that was a large part of the reason that he signed an executive order, on June 23rd, which allocated $26.2 million in state emergency funds for Zika preparedness.

MCS, whose services include monitoring and aerial spraying, may still benefit from Florida government funds- we just don't know because they haven't responded to requests for comment. We do know that the company is not a registered state vendor.

But that is really the tip of this disgusting iceberg.

Two American F-22s on patrol over Hasakah, Syria, flew within a mile of two Syrian Su-24 fighter jets and "encouraged" them to leave Friday, a US defense official told CNN.

The close encounter comes only a day after two Syrian warplanes attacked the Kurds, a key US ally, forcing US special operations forces to be withdrawn from their position in northern Syria.

The American aircraft are part of the beefed-up US air combat patrols in the area that the Pentagon had announced following Thursday's attack.

The pilots of the F-22 Raptors tried to call the Syrian aircraft cockpit-to-cockpit but got no response, the US official added.

Yemeni rebels refuse to meet UN envoy in protest against Saudi coalition actions

The delegation of Yemeni rebels who participated in the peace talks, has rejected a new meeting with UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, in protest against the actions of the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia, a source in the delegation told Sputnik Saturday.

The UN-brokered talks to end the Yemeni conflict started in Kuwait on April 21. The talks ended in early August, with the government and Houthi rebels failing to come to an agreement. As the talks wrapped up, the Houthi delegation flew to Oman for consultation with local authorities. From there, they tried to return to the Yemeni capital Sanaa, but failed over the government ban.

"[They refused to meet the UN envoy] in protest against the refusal of the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia to let the Oman plane, on which the delegation had to return to Sanaa more than ten days ago, pass" the source said.

Fighter jets from the Saudi-led coalition hit the Yemeni capital of Sanaa during a massive rally that attracted some 100,000 pro-Houthi rebels and sympathizers of ex-President Abdullah Saleh.

Tens of thousands of people rallied in Sanaa's central square on Saturday in a powerful display of support for the Shiite Houthi rebels and Saleh. Demonstrators cheered a recently established Supreme Political Council that includes representatives of the Houthi movement, as well as supporters of Saleh.

The huge gathering also denounced Saleh's successor, Mansur Hadi, who fled the country last year and is seeking reinstatement with military backing from Saudi Arabia.

During the demonstration, fighter jets bombed Yemen's capital, including the area around the Presidential palace, according to AP. The bombardment resulted in an "unknown number of casualties," the agency reports, quoting local officials. People on Twitter said that at least three civilians were killed and a number were wounded.

A US warship was shooed away from Iran's territorial waters after it received a tough warning from an Iranian navy vessel.

The US warship approached the Iranian warship in a provocative move, ignoring the internationally set standard distance from Iran's Shahid Mousayee patrol vessel and the Iranian territorial waters in Persian Gulf.

The warship then received a warning from the Iranian vessel and rapidly changed direction, returning to the international waters.

The IRGC seized two US Navy boats on January 12 and detained them on Iran's Farsi Island in the Persian Gulf. Nine men and one woman arrived in Iran's territorial waters in the Persian Gulf illegally when they were captured by the IRGC Navy.

A US military man and six fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been hunted in the city of Manbij in Northern Aleppo province, ISIL's news agency Amaq reported on Saturday.

"All the seven were killed as they came under attack by four suicide bombers in Zahr al-Ma'areh region in the Northern part of Manbij city," Amaq reported.

Amaq, the only official mouthpiece of the ISIL terrorist group, did not reveal any further detail on the incident.

On Tuesday, the Military Council of Manbij in Aleppo province announced that over 4,000 terrorists have been killed in tough battle with the SDF fighters since the beginning of Manbij liberation operations.

"A sum of 4,180 terrorists have been killed in the battle over Manbij and the dead bodies of 1,724 of them are with the Kurdish forces," the military council said.

Goodbye NATO, hello Russia: Turkish PM admits possibility of Russia use of Incirlik air base

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said Saturday that Russia could possibly use country's southern Incirlik Air Base if it becomes necessary.

At the same time Yildirim added that there were no need in Moscow's use of the base, because Russia possessed facilities located in Syria that was not far from Incirlik.

"This information is not correct, but if necessary the Incirlik base could be used," Yildirim told reporters, answering a question about Moscow's alleged request for use of the base, as quoted by the Turkish Anadolu news agency.

Comment: Turkey continues to appear to be distancing itself from NATO and moving closer to Russia after the failed NATO-backed Turkish coup attempt. This news comes after reports that Russian officials reached out to Ankara, requesting access to the base:
Russia has called on Turkey to provide access to NATO's Incirlik Air Base, the critical launch pad for US and coalition airstrikes in Syria, in a bid to expand the country's influence in the Middle East and to further the goal of combatting radical jihadist groups, primarily Daesh and al-Nusra, that threaten peace and stability in Syria.

"It just remains to come to an agreement with Erdogan that we get the NATO base Incirlik as [our] primary airbase," Senator Igor Morozov, a member of the upper house's committee on international affairs said reports the British newspaper The Times. He explained that the development would enable the Russian air force to engage in "constant bombing" of Daesh and other jihadist groups to bring the conflict to a resolution faster.

"You'll see, the next base will be Incirlik," he told Izvestia after the Kremlin revealed this week that its bombers had started flying out of Iran to launch attack on Syria. "This will be one more victory for Putin."

Another Senator, Viktor Ozerov, told RIA Novosti, "It's not certain that Russia needs Incirlik, but such a decision would be seen as a real willingness on Turkey's part to cooperate with Russia in the war against terrorism in Syria."
