Police are investigating an arson attack on the Orange County Republican Party headquarters which destroyed part of the interior and saw a swastika painted on the building.

The incident in the town of Hillsborough, North Carolina, occurred between Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday.

Local government officials say a bottle filled with a flammable substance was thrown through the window and set alight, destroying furniture and causing damage to the inside.

A threatening message reading: "Nazi Republicans leave town or Else" was also found spray-painted in black alongside a swastika on the side of an adjacent building.

WikiLeaks: Emails reveal Hillary Clinton's life of deceit

Among the many telling kernels of truth dappling the spoor of the Hillary Clinton campaign's internal e-mails released by WikiLeaks this past week, this one immediately leaped out:

"Politics is like sausage being made. It is unsavory, and it always has been that way, but we usually end up where we need to be. But if everybody's watching . . . then people get a little nervous, to say the least. So, you need both a public and a private position."

The sausage maker was Mrs. Clinton, giving one of her $225,000 speeches that she's so long sought to conceal from the public, in this instance to the National Multi-Housing Council in April 2013. It came at a time when the just-retired secretary of state was coyly gearing up for a White House run, little tin cup at the ready, raking in nearly a million dollars that month alone.

Trump and Clinton join Netanyahu blasting UNESCO statement on Jerusalem

Israel is clashing with a United Nations body tasked with honoring heritage sites after it passed a draft resolution harshly critical of Israel as the "occupying power" over Jerusalem, and both US presidential campaigns joined in rejection.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed especially harsh words yesterday, dubbing the document submitted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as "delusional." The group failed to mention by name the Temple Mount, a sacred site in Judaism believed to be located inside of the walls of the Noble Sanctuary, a religious plaza in the Old City that shelters the al-Aqsa mosque.

"To say that Israel has no connection to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall is like saying that China has no connection to the Great Wall of China or that Egypt has no connection to the pyramids," Netanyahu said.

The year of merging dangerously: Monsanto-Bayer

The Big Ag tech giants Monsanto - maker of Agent Orange, genetically modified seeds and weed-whacking chemicals - and Bayer - famed for manufacturing poison gas for Nazi concentration camp use, heroin, baby aspirin and systemic pesticides - are merging. Food security advocates, consumers and non-zombies worldwide are deeply concerned.

CNN Money declared the Monsanto-Bayer merger "the year's biggest takeover." Symbolically, it's the merger of the century. At $66 billion, it's also the biggest cash transaction on record.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders describes the mega-deal as "a threat to all Americans."

"These mergers boost the profits of huge corporations and leave Americans paying even higher prices," he said.

If things unfold as planned, the new company (MonBayer? BaySanto? Or should they just call themselves Poisonous?) will generate approximately 50 percent of its revenue from selling "medicine" and the other half from agriculture. How convenient. They can make us sick with their poisonous, genetically modified faux food, and then treat us with their treadmill of drugs.

The consolidation will create supply-chain dominance, aka vertical integration, in a $100 billion global market.

The simple truth behind the French-Russian relations crisis over Syria

Hollande and Putin
© Sputnik/ Alexei Druzhinin
Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin cancelled his planned trip to Paris after President Francois Hollande questioned the usefulness of a meeting with the Russian leader, citing the situation in Aleppo. However, according to Expert magazine contributor Igor Gashkov, Russia's the one with the grievance - and the reason is simple.

Hollande's demarche consisted of refusing to attend the opening of a church and Russian cultural center in the French capital, which President Putin was set to attend. According to Igor Gashkov, Elysee Palace effectively intended to turn the visit into a demonstration - a sign "that Paris does not feel solidarity with Moscow on any issue," not even culture. Putin responded coolly but firmly, cancelling the visit, citing a 'scheduling conflict', but also emphasizing that he remained open to meeting with Hollande in the future at the latter's convenience.

Kerry Wants to Negotiate for Terrorists, Russia gets on with Winning the War

Having abruptly broken off bilateral relations last week with Russia, Washington had to save face by re-engaging with Moscow this weekend in a 'multi-lateral' format.

It was noticeable that as foreign ministers of seven Mideast countries held talks in the Swiss city of Lausanne on the Syrian conflict, the two main players were US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

Kerry had convened the meeting and it was clear to observers that talking with his Russian guest was Kerry's primary intention. The two men held separate preliminary discussions, before being joined later by diplomats from Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Since the ceasefire pact worked out last month by Kerry and Lavrov collapsed during the final week of September, there has been a frenzied campaign of recriminations conducted by Washington and its allies against Russia.

Kerry has even called for Russia to be investigated for war crimes over its renewed military operations in the battleground city of Aleppo, where the Russian air force is providing crucial support to the Syrian army. The provocative claims have been echoed by French and British leaders, with Britain's foreign secretary Boris Johnson going as far as demanding public protests outside the Russian embassy - an agitprop that has been ignored by Britons.

US media blasts Trump over womanizing comments but lets Killary off for being a lying, murderous parasite

Of course, Donald Trump won, and not only in the second presidential debate with Hillary Clinton. He has won in the whole US story about which is scarier: confessing that you lie to voters or boasting of that you are attracted to women. This story, incomprehensible to the non-American world, is very important, because it is about what the US has turned into in everyday life — but not foreign policy (we know about that).

It's ok to lie

It is worth paying attention to what is considered a crime by many in the USA.

Hillary Clinton suffered a serious blow in the latest publication by WikiLeaks of recent speeches "in private" to bankers, where she said that the real presidential program was for them and other corporate leaders, while she presented quite a different program to voters, i.e. she lied blatantly in order to become president.

But the Democrats had another load of dirt about Trump - his statements about women in 2005. Which means that Hillary's lies are no big deal, but Donald's statements will kill him.

Let's look at what he said. He said he that was wildly attracted to beautiful women. "I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. I just kiss. I don't even wait"...Being a star means "you can do anything", including "grab them by... (the rest of the sentence is banned in Russia).

The construction of a new civilian airport is expected to start soon along China's border with Russia in the northeastern province of Heilongjiang.

Costing around 1.2 billion yuan (179 million U.S. dollars), the regional airport is designed to handle 450,000 passengers and 3,600 tonnes of cargo and mail annually, according to an official spokesperson with Suifenhe City.

It will have a 2,500-meter-long, 45-meter-wide runway, allowing 4,800 take-offs and landings a year, said the spokesperson.

The construction of an expressway leading to the airport broke ground on Saturday.

Located in the southeastern part of Heilongjiang, Suifenhe is the province's largest port to Russia. It sees nearly a million cross-border trips and its trade volume exceeds 10 billion yuan a year.

Customs statistics show nearly 80 percent of Heilongjiang's cargo imported from or exported to Russia passed through Suifenhe.

Ask and You Shall Receive: Podesta Emails Show DNC and Press Shilling as Lapdogs for Killary

On October 12, WikiLeaks released part four and five of Clinton campaign Chair John Podesta's emails, with part six to be released on October 13, and part seven to follow on October 14.

"As soon as the nomination is wrapped up, I will be your biggest surrogate," current Interim Chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Donna Brazile, wrote to Podesta in a January 2016 email. As a Vice Chair of the DNC, Brazile was bound to neutrality per the charter, but as shown in several emails released so far, that was not the case.

"I pushed back hard on this, and Axe. So weird to attack the kids the night before the first primary," Brazile wrote in an email she forwarded to Podesta about what CNN was doing while she served as a CNN contributor.

On October 10, an email was released that showed Brazile tipping off the Clinton campaign to an outreach campaign being conducted by the Sanders campaign. Brazile defended herself on Twitter claiming she also sent the Sanders campaign "advice," but did not release or cite any examples.

Chinese President Xi Jinping said Sunday a rising tide of protectionism and anti-globalisation was endangering the world economy's still fragile recovery as BRICS leaders vowed to forge closer business and trade ties.

At a summit in the Indian tourist hub of Goa, host Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leaders of China, Russia, Brazil and South Africa issued a joint declaration on a range of measures, including the setting-up of a new credit ratings agency and fighting tax evasion.

They also agreed to work together to combat "cross-border" terrorism, but Modi's guests held off from signing up to his fierce condemnation of India's arch-rival Pakistan as the "mothership of terrorism".
