Unable to deal with unbearable truth of criminal complicity, West displays 'meltdown of sanity'

Aleppo
Aleppo
The US and its terrorist-sponsoring partners are seeing their criminal regime-change project in ruins, as the Syrian army and its allies win a spectacular victory to retake the strategically important city of Aleppo.

Western governments and their flunkies at the UN are cynically, perversely decrying a «meltdown of humanity».

Closer to the truth is their own «meltdown of sanity». This is because the official Western narrative about the Syrian war is finally being exposed on a glaring scale.

The exposure for the whole world to see is one of a systematic, fake propaganda cover that concealed a criminal enterprise - an enterprise involving terrorist proxies, or fake moderate rebels, whom the Western governments have sponsored for the past six years in a conspiracy to overthrow the government of Syria. The gravity of this systematic crime committed by Washington and its various partners is now unfolding.

Unable to cope with their own cognitive dissonance over the criminality, the Western governments and their complicit corporate news media are resorting to outright denial and to compounding lies with even more lies.

Instead of dealing with the reality that Syrian state forces have recaptured Aleppo from brutal, illegally armed groups, which the West and its regional clients have bankrolled and armed, the West distorts the dramatic victory as the «fall of Aleppo». One report on American channel CNN even referred to the victorious Syrian army and its allies as «persecutors».

Syrian UN envoy: 'Aleppo deal violated as terrorists take hostages, heavy arms, attack crossing'

After nearly 9,500 people were evacuated from eastern Aleppo, radical groups violated the agreement by taking hostages, the remains of Syrian Army troops, and prohibited weapons with them, Syria's Ambassador to the UN, Bashar Jaafari, told RT.

"More than 9,449 terrorists [and members of their families] have evacuated from the eastern part of the city, due to the agreement made for this purpose and thanks to Russian mediation," Jaafari stated.

He then explained why the evacuation stopped amid reports the Syrian Army blamed the militants for violating the evacuation deal.

"Unfortunately, the agreement was violated today by the terrorist groups who took hostages with them and corpses of Syrian Army martyrs while they were exiting the city," Jaafari said. "[They also] were transferring medium-caliber weapons after dismantling them in violation [of the] agreement."

The agreement "does not allow them to take with them any prisoners, any hostages, and any corpses of Syrian Army soldiers killed by them - but they did," he explained, also adding that only light weapons were supposed to be taken out of the militant-occupied areas, but not the heavier arms.

Open invitation? DHS gave airport security tours and provided highly sensitive information to Somali immigrants under investigation

US Department of Homeland Security officials gave so-called "community engagement tours" to groups of immigrants at major US airports providing them with information so sensitive it was redacted from a later Freedom of Information Act request.

The tours, which included security briefings, were organized for immigrant neighborhoods, in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and Ohio in 2014 and 2015, according to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) records cited by Judicial Watch.

The groups, predominantly consisting of people of Somali descent, were taken to secure areas at Los Angeles International Airport, Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, and John Glenn Columbus International Airport in Ohio, the documents say.

It later turned out that one of the Somali attendees had an active investigation pending, and three others had previous investigations against them which were then closed. The documents also noted that one of the individuals had given CBP Chicago "a hard time" following the last tour.

Show us proof: Wikileaks challenges Obama to submit evidence of Russian hacking for verification

Following Barack Obama's vow to take action against Russia for its alleged hacking of the DNC and Hillary Clinton's campaign chair John Podesta's emails, WikiLeaks has suggested the president upload any documents to its whistleblowing site for verification.

In a tweet on Friday from the WikiLeaks Twitter account, the whistleblowing website encouraged Obama to "submit any Putin documents" to them so they can "be authenticated to our standards if he wants them to be seen as credible."

Comment: Don't hold your breath waiting, Julian - there is no proof!

Voters in the Electoral College will not receive an intelligence briefing about Russian meddling in the U.S. presidential election, according to a new report.

Sources told NPR the electors would not receive any national intelligence before they cast ballots this Monday.

Fifty-four of the 232 Democratic electors had signed a letter asking for a briefing before the Electoral College's vote, according to reports.

Comment: No one else will be able to see the report so the electors are no exception since they don't have the 'security clearance'.

Trump pick for ambassador to Israel supports Israeli annexation of West Bank and calls liberal Jews 'kapos'

David Friedman
Donald Trump has nominated 57-year-old Long Island native David Friedman to serve as U.S ambassador to Israel. Friedman served as Trump's Israel adviser during the election campaign and has worked as Trump's bankruptcy lawyer. He is a vociferous pro-settler advocate who openly advocates for the annexation of the West Bank, and serves as president of American Friends of Bet El Institutions, a settlement advocacy group. Friedman will join an administration that has continually promised to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and has made clear its opposition to the two-state solution. In announcing the pick Trump called Friedman "a longtime friend and trusted adviser."

Friedman is a writer for the Israeli settler news service Arutz Sheva, and his columns demonstrate strong right wing views concerning the occupation, U.S. politicians, and the Middle East. Friedman has called for ending "the two-state narrative", describing it as "an illusion that serves the worst intentions of both the United States and the Palestinian Arabs." Friedman has also referred to the recognition of Jerusalem as "the indisputable capital of the Jewish people" as a holy battle, one that will be won by those who acknowledge Jerusalem as being "the holy capital of the Jewish people—and only the Jewish people".

South China Sea tensions: Failing to find Asian allies, US invites UK to meddle

British Typhoon jets
Parroting the US State Department's rhetoric, almost verbatim to justify the decision, a UK envoy vowed to fly warplanes over, and sail warships through the South China Sea over "concerns" regarding "freedom of navigation there."

Reuters in its article, "British fighters to overfly South China Sea; carriers in Pacific after 2020: envoy," would report:
The envoy, Kim Darroch, told a Washington think tank that British Typhoon aircraft currently deployed on a visit to Japan would fly across disputed parts of the South China Sea to assert international overflight rights, but gave no time frame. Speaking at an event also attended by Japan's ambassador to Washington, Darroch said that most future British defense capacity would have to be directed toward the Middle East, but added: "Certainly, as we bring our two new aircraft carriers onstream in 2020, and as we renew and update our defense forces, they will be seen in the Pacific.
The time frame of 2020 assumes that the United States will still have any significant presence in the region, somehow reversing the otherwise irreversible retreat it has been undergoing throughout Asia-Pacific over the past decade.

East Aleppo evacuations halted after militants break truce terms

Ambulances and buses wait as they evacuate people from a rebel-held sector of eastern Aleppo
© Abdalrhman Ismail / ReutersAmbulances and buses wait as they evacuate people from a rebel-held sector of eastern Aleppo, Syria December 15, 2016.
The evacuation of militants out of eastern Aleppo has been halted after they broke the terms of the truce struck with the government, RT correspondent Lizzie Phelan reports from the scene, citing a Syrian Army official.

According to a senior Syrian general in Aleppo, the militants tried to bring heavy weapons out with them instead of light weapons which were allowed, violating the terms of the agreement with the Syrian authorities.

They were also supposed to release captives taken from the pro-government forces, and it was agreed the latter would be evacuated before the last group of militants leaves the city.

However, according to the military official, the militants violated those terms and tried to smuggle out the captives and heavy weapons.

Comment: Update: The official reason given for the halt in the evacuation process is that the militants were trying to smuggle out detainees. Ziad Fadel at SyrPer has a different explanation:
American terrorist allies stuck in East Aleppo tried to escape as kidnapped Syrian soldiers last evening but were identified and the evacuation was stalled. Part of the agreement with Obama's murdering savages was that all kidnapped individuals and soldiers held by the terrorists would be released in exchange for the evacuation. This is why the Syrian government agreed to send in buses at its own expense. In truth, the government not only wanted the kidnapped soldiers and citizens, they also wanted the 11 Americans and 2 retired British SAS operatives who could not escape East Aleppo. The publicity from such a capture of foreign agents would be priceless and prove that Obama and the limeys were 100% complicit in the murder of Syrian citizens. This is the reason why the United States and its allies in Europe are ramping up the clamor over the cease fire. They were actually hoping to extract their murderers and criminals without exposure. That is not going to happen any time soon. As a note, there appear to be many Turkish soldiers among the rats. Remember, no foreigners are part of the agreement.

When the Syrian government refused to continue with the cease fire after discovering the terrorist stratagem of smuggling out American and British spies, they opened fire on the convoys of buses and ambulances standing still at the Al-Raamoosa Crossing. This is what the Americans probably ordered to stop the flow of terrorists and their families out of the city - essentially leaving the cell of U.S. terrorists alone inside to fend for themselves.

As of today, 8,079 rodents have left the city in the span of 24 hours before the cease fire broke down. They left in 10 tranches of vermin. There are a few thousand still left at Al-Raamoosa after the Syrian Red Crescent and the Red Cross called off the transportation while the rodents fired at the buses and ambulances.

Other reports provide more clues as to why the evacuation was suspended. Some sources claim the rodents were smuggling heavy weapons out in violation of the agreement in addition to prisoners.

Aleppo starts uncovering Washington's bloody evil designs

weapons in Aleppo
It won't be an exaggeration to state that the White House and its European allies have made a step too far in a bid to obstruct the successful liberation of the town of Aleppo by the Syrian government forces and Russia's pilots providing close fire support to them. This development has been widely commented by various analysts and experts across the globe, with some of them claiming that Washington is determined to prevent the complete destruction of ISIS at all costs, since it created and nurtured this terrorist group to overthrow Assad just like the Taliban and Al-Qaeda was created to fight Soviet troops in Afghanistan back in the 1980s.

A few days ago new facts about Washington's sponsorship of ISIS appeared in the Bulgarian media, along with the pictures and video made in eastern Aleppo by the Nova TV journalists. The crew stumbled upon a warehouse that was used by the Jabhat al-Nusra militants, where they discovered munitions for the BM-21 "Grad" self-propelled multiple rocket launchers, bearing visible indications that they were produced by the Bulgarian manufacturer VMZ (Vazovskaya Heavy Machinery). It's curious that in spite of the ban on arms sales to Syria, missiles and shells of Bulgarian production, however, fell into the hands of terrorists. The Bulgarian crew indicated that the munitions were supplied by the company known as Arcus from Lyaskovets, while all labels were written in Bulgarian.

The channel has been consulting military experts ever since and the latter have already stated that the radical militants could have been fighting for another two years with the munitions they had.

Comment: This could be why so much propaganda is being thrown up about humanitarian aid in order to deflect any spotlight on the weapons deals.

Inching closer, new information on who gave Democratic emails to Wikileaks

Podesta
© Politico
While all of the mainstream media and anonymous CIA sources claim that Russia was behind the hacks of the emails from the Democratic National Committee and top Clinton aide John Podesta, the truth has been revealed to be completely different.

By way of background, top American intelligence veterans say that it was a leak, not a hack. And see this.

Even the head of U.S. intelligence - James Clapper - testified on Monday that the connection between Russia and Wikileaks is weak. And U.S. intelligence agencies are now refusing to brief the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on whether or not Russia was actually the source of the Wikileaks documents.

And the NSA executive who created the agency's mass surveillance program for digital information, who served as the senior technical director within the agency, who managed six thousand NSA employees, the 36-year NSA veteran widely regarded as a "legend" within the agency and the NSA's best-ever analyst and code-breaker, who mapped out the Soviet command-and-control structure before anyone else knew how, and so predicted Soviet invasions before they happened ("in the 1970s, he decrypted the Soviet Union's command system, which provided the US and its allies with real-time surveillance of all Soviet troop movements and Russian atomic weapons") - told Washington's Blog that the Democratic emails were leaked by either NSA insiders or DNC insiders.

The former intelligence analyst, British Ambassador to Uzbekistan, and chancellor of the University of Dundee (Craig Murray) revealed earlier this week that the Podesta leak and the DNC leak were leaked by two different insiders, that both of the leakers were Americans with no ties to Russia, and that one was from the American intelligence services. Subsequently, Murray revealed further details on the leaks.

Specifically, in an interview with Scott Horton on Tuesday, Murray said that - because John Podesta's company is a registered lobbyist for the Saudi Arabian government - the NSA and other intelligence agencies were monitoring their emails as a matter of course.

Murray said that an insider from an American intelligence service (read: NSA) leaked the Podesta emails to Wikileaks. Indeed, an intermediary to the NSA whistleblower handed the emails to Murray in a park in Washington, D.C.

Comment: Apparently this national security leak was just another walk in the park.
