Iran receiving 'air and defense and radar systems' deliveries from Russia

The New York Times, as cited by The Times of Israel on August 5, reported that Iranian officials claim Russia has started delivering advanced air defense and radar systems to Iran following Tehran's request to the Kremlin.

Local Iranian media have corroborated Tehran's request, and two officials, including a member of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, have confirmed to The Times that these deliveries are underway. According to these Iranian sources, the equipment in question is likely the Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile system, crafted by the Almaz-Antey concern. However, it should be noted that BulgarianMilitary.com has not independently verified that it is indeed the S-400 being supplied to Tehran by Moscow.

The Times article did not specify the exact equipment requested by Iran or what has been delivered so far. Iran does already possess Russian S-300 air defense systems, although Russia has since developed the more advanced S-400 system.

Comment: A convergence of sorts by both sides does appear to be occurring. Although, notably, Russia and China, unlike the US, do not appear to be getting involved directly:

Donald Trump announces multiple debates pending agreement

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday said he has agreed to three debates against Vice President Kamala Harris, including one hosted by ABC News that he previously cast doubt upon.

The three debates will occur Sept. 4 on Fox News, Sept. 10 on ABC and Sept. 25 on NBC, according to Trump's team.

"So we have those three dates and those networks, they're very anxiously awaiting that date and those dates," Trump told reporters during a press conference in Mar-a-Lago. "We have spoken to the heads of the network and it's all been confirmed."

Comment: Trump holding his own against a (mostly) hostile audience at the National Association of Black Journalists panel. A few hearts and minds may have shifted. Is this what has Harris so spooked?

Veterans have accused Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz of "embellishing" his military career and abandoning his National Guard battalion, highlighting that the now-vice presidential pick for the Democrats never served in combat and retired from service ahead of his unit's 2005 deployment to Iraq.

In a letter posted to Facebook in 2018 as he first ran for governor, retired Command Sergeants Major Thomas Behrends and Paul Herr said Walz retired from his 24-year tenure in the National Guard after learning that his battalion would be deployed to Iraq, despite allegedly assuring his fellow troops he would join them.

"On May 16th, 2005, [Walz] quit, betraying his country, leaving the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion and its Soldiers hanging; without its senior Non-Commissioned Officer, as the battalion prepared for war," Behrends and Herr wrote.

Comment: He's almost worse than Kamala:

Let's meet vice presidential nominee Tim Walz:

1995 DUI Arrest - Walz claims he was not drunk and blamed a misunderstanding with police on his deafness, despite actually doing 96 mph in a 55-mph and blowing a .128 BAC

BLM Riots - Waited three days to call in the National Guard as Minneapolis burned

COVID Lockdowns - Aggressively locked down the state and created a hotline for neighbors to rat on one another

Pandemic Fraud - More than 400 Million taxpayer dollars fraudulently paid out as unemployment benefits
And the state of the propaganda pushing these two horrors? Kinda sad actually.

Rep. Jamie Raskin stokes the flames: Congress will have to disqualify Trump if he wins the election

Says "civil war could ensue."

A alarming video surfaced Monday appearing to show Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) declaring that Congress will have to disqualify former President Donald Trump on January 6, 2025 if he wins the November election, and predicting a civil war with "rampaging Trump mobs" could erupt as a result.

Raskin made the disturbing comments during a discussion about voter rights with law professor Richard L. Hasen and civil rights lawyer Sherrilyn Iffil at the Politics and Prose bookstore in Washington D.C. on February 17, 2024. The congressman's remarks were so extreme, some journalists are wondering if the video was manipulated.

The Supreme Court was expected to rule in Trump's favor on an eligibility case within weeks. Democrats argued that Trump should be kicked of ballots because of a provision in the 14th Amendment related to people who engage in insurrection.

Comment: Raskin has been a "censor and control the masses" fan for a long time. As the saying goes, when people show you what they are, believe them.

Google is an illegal monopoly - court ruling

American tech giant Google broke the law by establishing a monopoly on online searches, a federal judge ruled on Monday.

The decision is seen as a major victory for US antitrust authorities, who have filed several lawsuits against big tech firms in a bid to strengthen competition in the industry, Reuters noted.

The case, initiated by the US Department of Justice in 2020, argued that Google has maintained its dominance of the search market by creating barriers to entry for other providers.

The ruling, issued by US District Court for the District of Columbia, states:
"After having carefully considered and weighed the witness testimony and evidence, the court reaches the following conclusion: Google is a monopolist, and it has acted as one to maintain its monopoly.

"Google enjoys an 89.2% share of the market for general search services, which increases to 94.9% on mobile devices."
Google has paid billions of dollars to device manufacturers to ensure its position as the default search engine on smartphones and browsers, Judge Amit Mehta said.

The Department of Justice has hailed the decision as "an historic win for the American people," noting that "no company - no matter how large or influential - is above the law."

Comment: Someone a long time ago put the Goo in Google and, so far, it has held itself together. Back doors? Election year? Opportunities!

Allowing two million Gazans to starve 'may be moral' - Israeli minister

Bezalel
© Amir Levy/Getty ImagesIsraeli Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich
Bezalel Smotrich has complained that it's impossible to wage war in today's global reality.

Starving the citizens of Gaza could be a "just" way of forcing Hamas to release hostages, but this would spark outrage from the global community, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has complained.

Israel controls the flow of humanitarian aid entering the besieged Palestinian enclave but its distribution is managed by aid groups within Gaza.

Speaking at a right-wing conference earlier this week, Smotrich said Israel was being forced to allow aid into the enclave "because there is no choice," and because West Jerusalem needs "international legitimacy" to wage its war against Hamas.

He argued:
"Israel is unable to use humanitarian aid to pressure the Palestinian militant group because today's global reality makes this 'impossible'. No one in the world would let us starve and thirst two million citizens, even though it may be just and moral until [Hamas] return our hostages."
Smotrich suggested that, if the distribution of aid within Gaza was controlled by Israel, then the current war would have already ended and the hostages captured by the Palestinian fighters on October 7 would have been returned.

Comment: How twisted is this? Israel would do exactly the same even if their hostages were returned. 'Do onto others, period.'

White House responds to Ukrainian attack on Kursk Region

Washington intends to ask Kiev about what's going on, a spokesman has said.

The US intends to get more information from Kiev about the Ukrainian attack on Russia's Kursk Region, the White House's national security spokesman John Kirby has stated.

Around 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers backed by armor launched the cross-border attack on Tuesday morning, shelling the town of Sudzha. Moscow has accused the invaders of indiscriminately targeting civilians.

Kirby told reporters on Wednesday:
"We intend to reach out to our Ukrainian partners to get a fuller picture of what happened. The US policy on Ukraine's use of American-supplied weapons systems has not changed in any way."
Washington has officially restricted Kiev from using US weapons and equipment inside Russia, but Ukraine has done so time and again. In May last year, Kirby spoke of US "frustration" with images of burning American vehicles that emerged during a Ukrainian raid on Belgorod Region.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has described the Kursk incursion as yet another "large-scale provocation" by Kiev, accusing Ukrainian troops of deliberately targeting civilians in Sudzha and other towns.

Comment: From provocation to obliteration. What was their first clue?
Ukraine has conducted its latest large-scale provocation against Russia by launching an attempted incursion into Kursk Region, President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.
"Ukrainian forces are conducting indiscriminate fire from various types of weapons, including rocket weapons, at civilian buildings, homes, ambulances."
The president said he is regularly briefed on the situation by the Defense Ministry and other relevant governmental departments. He is also in touch with acting Governor Aleksey Smirnov and has pledged additional support for the Kursk Region administration to help it deal with the emergency.

Earlier in the day, the governor said that Moscow has dispatched a team of skilled medics to help his region's healthcare system tackle the surge in injuries caused by Ukrainian fire. Kursk emergency services will also be bolstered by additional hardware necessary to address the damage.

More than 2,000 people have fled the border areas, some with the assistance of rescuers, since the crisis broke out on Tuesday morning, Smirnov said. Authorities have provided emergency shelters for those who need them, while neighboring regions also offered their help to the refugees.

The Defense Ministry has claimed that Russian troops had inflicted serious damage on the Ukrainian forces deployed for the attempted cross-border operation. The military says Kiev has failed to achieve its goal of securing a foothold in the Russian region, losing hundreds of fighters and dozens of pieces of heavy weaponry in the process.

US spying on Tulsi Gabbard - whistleblowers

The former congresswoman has reportedly been placed on the TSA 'Quiet Skies' watchlist.

The US government has put former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard on a special air traffic surveillance list, according to a group of Air Marshal whistleblowers.

Gabbard served in Congress for eight years (2013-2021) and ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, but left the party in 2022 over ideological differences. She is also a lieutenant-colonel in the US Army reserve.

For the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), however, Gabbard appears to be a security risk. Last month, she was placed into the 'Quiet Skies' program and monitored wherever she flies, according to the Air Marshal National Council (AMNC).

The outlet UncoverDC reported this week that Gabbard has "two Explosive Detection Canine Teams, one Transportation Security Specialist (explosives), one plainclothes TSA Supervisor, and three Federal Air Marshals [FAMs] on every flight she boards," citing AMNC director Sonya LaBosco.

AMNC posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the claim came from their whistleblowers, who are ready to go on the record with the appropriate documentation.

Vance explains Trump's plans for Europe

European NATO members need to do a better job of deterring a hypothetical Russian attack and dealing with the loss of Russian oil and gas, vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance has said.

The Republican senator from Ohio, who was picked by former US President Donald Trump as his running mate for the November election, said a potential Trump administration would demand "self-sufficiency" from the EU while maintaining friendly relations.

Speaking to the Semafor news website on Wednesday, he rejected the notion that sustained aid to Ukraine is necessary to prevent a future attack on NATO. Russian President Vladimir Putin has "shown in Ukraine that he can't go that far," he argued, contrary to what Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, tells American voters.

"When the Harris administration says if we don't stop Putin in Ukraine, he's gonna march all the way to Germany, one, it's not true, and two, what does that say about Germany's defense capabilities?" Vance said.

Comment: Vance's reasoning may be wrong but his point about Putin not pushing on towards Germany is correct. Then again, his reasoning may be open to interpretation.
