A number of drones were spotted over and near RAF Lakenheath in England on Nov. 20, the Air Force told The War Zone in response to our query about the incident.

"The number of UASs fluctuated and they ranged in size/configuration," a spokesperson for U.S. Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces in Africa (USAFE) told us "The UASs were actively monitored and installation leaders determined that none of the incursions impacted base residents or critical infrastructure."

There were unconfirmed reports that F-15E Strike Eagles were sent aloft to chase the drones and that flight operations at the base were affected. The Air Force did not immediately respond to those claims.

Israel launched attack on Syria's Palmyra from US-controlled airspace

Huge Israeli airstrikes rocked the outskirts of the central Syrian city of Palmyra on Wednesday, with regional reports saying the attacks were launched by Israeli jets utilizing US-controlled airspace over Al-Tanf military base in eastern Syria.

"Israeli warplanes launched a number of missiles from the airspace of the [US] base in the Al-Tanf area on the Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian border, in the far southeastern countryside of Homs, targeting the vicinity of the city of Palmyra," Sputnik's correspondent reported.

Israeli attacks on Palmyra are rare, if not unheard of, given how deep into central Syria and the eastern desert the town lies. Al-Tanf base is located a little over 200km from Palmyra. The border base has been occupied by US forces for many years now.

Biden like a 'suicide bomber' - ex-CIA analyst

Johnson
The outgoing US president has nothing to lose, Larry Johnson has said...

President Joe Biden is not afraid of dragging the US into war with Russia, and is willing to take risks to derail Donald Trump's future presidency and any chance of a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson has told RT.

On Thursday, the Russian military launched its new hypersonic ballistic missile, dubbed 'Oreshnik' (Hazel), against an industrial facility in Ukraine. President Vladimir Putin described the strike as a warning to the West in response to "aggressive actions of NATO member states," specifically Washington's approval for Kiev to use its ATACMS missiles for strikes within Russia's pre-2014 borders.

European states vow to arrest Israeli PM

The ICC issued warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant earlier this week.

Several Western states have pledged to execute an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The Hague-based court on Thursday issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu along with former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Hamas commander Ibrahim al-Masri. West Jerusalem claims that al-Masri is already dead. The warrants are for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity linked to the Gaza conflict.

The decision has elicited mixed reactions in the West. Several nations emphasized their respect for the independence of the court, while others voiced support for Israel.

The Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, and Norway all claimed they would meet their commitments and obligations under the Rome Statute and international law. However, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stressed that the ICC was "wrong" to put Netanyahu and Gallant on the same level as Hamas. Austria also said that it would obey the decision, but its foreign minister, Alexander Schallenberg, added that the warrant was "utterly incomprehensible."

Comment: A mixed bag of responses signifying nothing.

"The National Security Divisions of the DOJ and FBI are the greatest domestic threats to the American people and the concept of Constitutional rule of law today."

Okay, you've had enough post-election euphoria. Time to wake TF up. Rats from inside the walls of the Deep State are trying to gnaw their way into the Trump cabinet. Ever hear of an outfit called Cipher Brief? Of course not. Cipher Brief is sort of the McKinsey of blob-world (a.k.a. the "national security" network), a combination Human Relations / Public Relations firm, totally spooked-up with former CIA officers. Quite a few of the spooks who signed the infamous letter in October 2020 that said Hunter Biden's laptop was "Russian disinformation" are contractors there. They all knew the heinous laptop was genuine, though, and they did it anyway to queer the election for "Joe Biden."
Why? Because...Trump.

Pepe Escobar: Oreshnik - The 3 km per second plot twist

Nothing to see here. Just a hypersonic demo. Well, not really. The average American is only capable of making (some sort of) sense of the world through movies. So let's go back to a classic: the opening sequence of Coppola's Apocalypse Now - the Vietnam war counterpart to Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness, set in the Congo.

In the movie, Captain Willard (Martin Sheen) is barely capable of enacting a drunken soliloquy alone in his room in Saigon. He's waiting for his assignment: a special mission all the way to the Heart of Darkness (in the movie, represented by the illegal American incursion/indiscriminate bombing of Cambodia).

Willard, in the V.O., barely mutters, "Every minute I stay in this room, I get weaker and Charlie gets stronger." Charlie, out in the jungle, was how American GIs referred to the Vietcong.

Putin announces mass production of Oreshnik missiles

Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed on Friday the decision to begin serial production of the new Oreshnik ballistic missile system.

The announcement came after the system was used in combat for the first time earlier this week in Ukraine.

Speaking during a meeting at the Kremlin with the leadership of the Defense Ministry and defense industry representatives, Putin outlined that the Oreshnik missile system, one of Russia's latest military advancements, is not a modernization of an old Soviet weapon.

Instead, it is a new development based on cutting-edge hypersonic technology and modern materials. "It is the result of work done in the conditions of New Russia," Putin said, highlighting that the system was created to meet contemporary defense needs.

Take Putin's warnings seriously - Orban

The West should not ignore Russian President Vladimir Putin's warnings regarding Moscow's response to long-range Ukrainian strikes, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said.

On Thursday, Putin announced that Russia had used its new Oreshnik intermediate-range hypersonic ballistic missile to destroy a military-industrial facility in Dnipro (formerly Dnepropetrovsk) in Ukraine. The strike was carried out in response to Kiev's attacks on internationally recognized Russian territory using US-made ATACMS and British Storm Shadow missiles, he said.

"We consider ourselves entitled to use our weapons against military facilities of those countries that allow the use of their weapons against our facilities, and in case of an escalation of aggressive actions, we will respond decisively and in mirror-like manner," the Russian leader warned.

In an interview with Kossuth Radio on Friday, Orban, who is one of the few European leaders to maintain contact with Moscow during its conflict with Kiev, said the communication system in Russian society was significantly different from the one in the EU.

West censoring Russia in ways it never tried with USSR - Glenn Greenwald

Governments in the West are obsessed with hiding information from their own populations, going so far as to criminalize the platforming of media such as RT, journalist Glenn Greenwald has said.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson posted on Thursday, Greenwald pointed out that throughout the Cold War, the New York Times would publish speeches by Nikita Krhuschev, Leonid Brezhnev and other Soviet leaders, contrasting it with the current situation.

"Now it's practically criminalized," Greenwald told Carlson.

When the Russia-Ukraine conflict escalated in February 2022, "one of the very first steps [the EU] took legislatively was to ban the platforming, to criminalize the platforming of Russian media, like RT and Sputnik. They made it a crime, and YouTube immediately pulled it off because they didn't want their citizens hearing any information from the Russian perspective."

They're at it again... the U.S. and Britain, inciting global war, must be defeated for good

Washington DC

This week marks a fateful threshold for the world. In a grave announcement, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the three-year proxy war in Ukraine has now reached a global dimension.

The responsibility for this abysmal moment lies fully with the United States' elitist rulers and their British accomplices. They are inciting global catastrophe in a desperate bid to save their hegemonic empire.

Putin's announcement on November 21 came only hours after Russia launched a retaliatory strike against Anglo-American aggression. Russia's new hypersonic ballistic missile destroyed a munitions center in Dnepropetrovsk in central Ukraine. The conventionally armed missile - called Oreshnik - was deployed in combat for the first time. It delivered several warheads at Mach-10 speed. There is no air defense against such a unique weapon.

The Oreshnik attack was in response to the firing of long-range missiles by the United States and Britain on November 19 and 21 against the pre-conflict territory of the Russian Federation. There is no doubt that the U.S. and British forces were directly involved because, as Moscow has noted, the Ukrainian regime does not have the personnel or logistics capability to operate these advanced NATO weapon systems.

The conclusion is stark. The world is on the cusp of World War Three, a war that would inevitably become a nuclear conflagration and precipitate the end of life on Earth. The evil facing humanity is staggering.
