Vucic and Fico are heroes - Kremlin

The Serbian and Slovak leaders came to Moscow despite "frenzied" EU pressure, Dmitry Peskov has said.

The Kremlin has praised Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico for defying EU pressure and attending the Victory Day celebrations in the Russian capital on Friday.

Despite warnings from Brussels, Vucic and Fico also held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in addition to attending the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory in World War II. Both leaders faced travel hurdles after several EU countries closed their airspace to their jets en route to Russia. Moscow condemned the moves as "hostile."

"These days... it is simply an act of heroism. Showing one's sovereign will to pay tribute to the memory of Victory Day, despite the blatant, frenzied pressure, is worthy of the highest praise," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

Comment: As the EU tightens screws on membership candidates, traps are exposed.

After being on SDNY's prosecution teams against Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, Jim Comey's daughter is now on the DOJ's team against P. Diddy.

You can't make this stuff up. The Deep State is alive in New York! Where is Bondi?

Before President Trump stepped into the White House, there was an attempted coup d'état to have him removed from office. This began with claims that candidate and then President Trump was a Russian puppet using false stories fed to the corrupt US media.

Jim Comey was a big part of the effort to remove President Trump from office. He could not be trusted and was fired by President Trump.

The defeat of Nazi Germany, why history is alive in Russia but dead in the West

Victory Day Parade 2025
© Public Domain
Eighty years after the defeat of Nazi Germany, this week the world witnessed a spectacular, solemn and joyous event to commemorate that historic achievement. The victory parade in Moscow's Red Square was a glorious pageant incomparable to anywhere else.

Rightly so, because the defeat of Nazi Germany on May 9, 1945, was largely the result of heroic sacrifices of the Soviet and Russian people.

The annual commemoration remains as poignant and proud to Russians as ever.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was accompanied by many international dignitaries this year to observe the parade. Significantly, with honorable exceptions, Western leaders were absent, prohibited by their toxic Russophobic propaganda and historical contradictions.

China's President, Xi Jinping, was prominent in the Red Square tribune. Again, rightly so.

The Russian and Chinese nations suffered the most in the Second World War. The worst military conflagration in human history is estimated at a death toll of around 80 million. More than half of all those victims were among the Soviet and Chinese people.

Victory Day on May 9 is usually commemorated as signifying the end of World War II. But Nazi Germany's Axis partner Imperial Japan was not defeated until August 1945. Imperial Japan's war in China was conducted with the same genocidal barbarity as Nazi Germany's in the Soviet Union.

It is profoundly revealing that the end of World War II is largely now a muted event in the Western nations of the United States, Britain, and the rest of Europe. It is eerie that such a world-shattering episode has become an increasingly non-descriptive date in the official Western calendar. By contrast, in Russia, the anniversary of the Great Patriotic War's victory is more relevant and revered than ever.

The difference is explicable. The so-called "Allied victory" over Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan was always something of a charade. Eighty years on, the charade is exposed more than ever to the point where it has become untenable and embarrassing for the Western states.

Toward a global realignment

Brzezinski
© UnknownZbigniew Brzezinski
Five basic verities regarding the emerging redistribution of global political power and the violent political awakening in the Middle East are signaling the coming of a new global realignment.

The first of these verities is that the United States is still the world's politically, economically, and militarily most powerful entity but, given complex geopolitical shifts in regional balances, it is no longer the globally imperial power. But neither is any other major power.

The second verity is that Russia is experiencing the latest convulsive phase of its imperial devolution. A painful process, Russia is not fatally precluded - if it acts wisely - from becoming eventually a leading European nation-state. However, currently it is pointlessly alienating some of its former subjects in the Islamic southwest of its once extensive empire, as well as Ukraine, Belarus, and Georgia, not to mention the Baltic States.

The third verity is that China is rising steadily, if more slowly as of late, as America's eventual coequal and likely rival; but for the time being it is careful not to pose an outright challenge to America. Militarily, it seems to be seeking a breakthrough in a new generation of weapons while patiently enhancing its still very limited naval power.

The fourth verity is that Europe is not now and is not likely to become a global power. But it can play a constructive role in taking the lead in regard to transnational threats to global wellbeing and even human survival. Additionally, Europe is politically and culturally aligned with and supportive of core U.S. interests in the Middle East, and European steadfastness within NATO is essential to an eventually constructive resolution of the Russia-Ukraine crisis.

Comment: In this article from 2016 we recognize many current outcomes from its forward projections. That said, Russia, not the USA, is now the cutting edge military power - but not the 'self-imposed' global imperial power. And, it's friendship with China suggests a different line-up of super partners. Enter Trump.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping have agreed to speed up the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline project, according to Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Novak.

The announcement on Thursday followed high-level talks in Moscow during Xi's official visit to Russia to attend the May 9 Victory Day celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union's defeat of Nazi Germany.

The planned mega pipeline is expected to allow up to 50 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas to be delivered annually from northern Russia to China via Mongolia. The project has experienced some delays due to deliberations on pricing and route.

Exclusive: Under Trump, Saudi civil nuclear talks delinked from Israel recognition, sources say

Trump

The United States is no longer demanding Saudi Arabia normalise ties with Israel as a condition for progress on civil nuclear cooperation talks, two sources with knowledge of the matter told Reuters ahead of U.S. President Donald Trump's visit next week.

Dropping the demand that Saudi Arabia establish diplomatic relations with Israel would be a major concession by Washington. Under former President Joe Biden, nuclear talks were an element of a wider U.S.-Saudi deal tied to normalisation and to Riyadh's goal of a defence treaty with Washington.

The kingdom has repeatedly said it would not recognise Israel without a Palestinian state, frustrating Biden administration attempts to expand the Abraham Accords signed during Trump's first term. Under those accords the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco normalised relations with Israel. Progress towards Saudi recognition of Israel has been halted by fury in Arab countries over the war raging in Gaza. The nuclear talks had also stumbled over Washington's non-proliferation concerns.

"I hope Ed Martin's 1st assignment at DOJ is to investigate Thom Tillis' corruption."
— Rogan O'Handley (aka' DC Draino' on X)
The funny part is that this swarm of Jacobin botflies from Norm Eisen to Sen. Thom Tillis thought (and acted) as if Ed Martin was the only MAGA lawyer capable of uncovering the steaming pile of seditious poo festering, lo these many years, in the DC federal district (i.e., the Swamp). Like, get rid of Ed and our troubles are over. Really? Don't you suppose that there are dozens of other capable, patriotic, seasoned lawyers, seething over the corruption that is Swamp crime, who can effectively occupy the office of US Attorney for the District of Columbia.

The second funniest part is apparently the Jacobins thought that Ed Martin would just skulk off into the gloaming like a whipped dog and be gone — when, in fact, Mr. Trump folded him at once into three jobs in the Department of Justice that don't require confirmation by the Senate, and will allow him to attend to exactly the same set of grave problems afflicting this republic from a position of power. Mr. Martin will now serve as Director of the DOJ's Weaponization Working Group, Associate Deputy Attorney General, and Pardon Attorney reviewing the legitimacy of "Joe Biden's" auto-pen signing of important documents — meaning, he'll have the power to bring cases on his own and make criminal referrals to the US Attorney for DC.

Trump sidelines Netanyahu in Middle East policy as relations deteriorate

Sources report the president is frustrated over the Israeli prime minister's alleged push for Iran military action.

Sources close to US President Donald Trump report that he is disappointed with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Relations between Prime Minister Netanyahu and the US president have reached a low point with mutual disappointment on both sides. Sources in the president's inner circle report that he has grown increasingly frustrated with the Israeli prime minister.

Earlier this week, we reported that Netanyahu was frustrated with Trump. Now it appears the American president has also lost patience with his Israeli counterpart. Two senior figures in Trump's circle stated in recent closed-door conversations, whose contents reached Israel Hayom, that Trump has decided to stop waiting for Israel and instead move forward with Middle East initiatives without Netanyahu.

Comment: Example set. We shall see who else agrees.

REAL ID is now required for air travel in America. Here's what's happening at airports across the US

Real ID
© CNNReal ID new airport requirement
REAL IDs, aside from being used to board domestic flights, also will be required to enter secure federal facilities.

The time has come. Travelers flying within the US starting Wednesday must use a state-issued ID or license that is "REAL ID" compliant.

Things seemed to be operating relatively smoothly at a sampling of US airports early Wednesday, though signs about the REAL ID requirements are posted, and TSA representatives at some airports were ushering people without REAL IDs to separate lines for enhanced screening.

Lines outside some states' departments of motor vehicles may be a different story, however, as people who haven't received a compliant ID try to catch up. In downtown Chicago, for example, a line Wednesday morning to get into a walk-in "supercenter" dedicated to issuing REAL IDs wrapped around a city block.

REAL IDs, aside from being used to board domestic flights, also will be required to enter secure federal facilities. REAL IDs are marked with a star in the upper right-hand corner, no matter what state you live in. The 9/11 Commission recommended the new standard for enhanced security.

Comment: In addition to the article info, here's the bones of it from TSA:
Adult passengers 18 and older must show valid identification at the airport checkpoint in order to travel.

The list of acceptable IDs is subject to change without notice. TSA strongly encourages you check this list again before traveling, so you do not arrive at the airport without acceptable ID.
  • REAL ID-compliant driver's licenses or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles (or equivalent)
    • If you are not sure if your ID complies with REAL ID, check with your state department of motor vehicles.
    • A temporary driver's license is not an acceptable form of identification.
  • State-issued Enhanced Driver's License (EDL) or Enhanced ID (EID)
  • U.S. passport
  • U.S. passport card
  • DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST)
  • U.S. Department of Defense ID, including IDs issued to dependents
  • Permanent resident card
  • Border crossing card
  • An acceptable photo ID issued by a federally recognized Tribal Nation/Indian Tribe, including Enhanced Tribal Cards (ETCs)
  • HSPD-12 PIV card
  • Foreign government-issued passport
  • Canadian provincial driver's license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada card
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
  • U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Authorization Card (I-766)
  • U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential
  • Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)
REAL ID
As of May 7, 2025, state-issued driver's licenses and IDs that are not REAL ID compliant are no longer accepted as valid forms of identification at airports.

Passengers should either travel with an acceptable alternative form of ID, like a passport, or enroll for a state-issued REAL ID through their state DMV offices.

Passengers who present a state-issued identification that is not REAL ID compliant at TSA checkpoints and who do not have another acceptable alternative form of ID will be notified of their non-compliance, may be directed to a separate area and may receive additional screening. This includes TSA PreCheck passengers.

Don't Have Your Acceptable ID?
The TSA officer may ask you to complete an identity verification process which includes collecting information such as your name and current address to confirm your identity. If your identity is confirmed, you will be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint, where you may be subject to additional screening.

You will not be allowed to enter the security checkpoint if you choose to not provide acceptable identification, you decline to cooperate with the identity verification process, or your identity cannot be confirmed.

Expired ID
TSA currently accepts expired ID up to two years after expiration, for the above listed forms of identification.

Children
TSA does not require children under 18 to provide identification when traveling within the United States. Contact the airline for questions regarding specific ID requirements for travelers under 18.

Names With Suffixes
TSA accepts variations on suffixes on boarding passes and ID. Suffixes are not required on boarding passes. If there is a suffix on the boarding pass, and there is not one on the ID or vice versa, that is considered an acceptable variation.

If your identity cannot be verified, you will not be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint.

Trump pulls Ed Martin nomination after revealing Tillis was secretly scheming with Dems

thom tillis

We regret to inform you that President Trump has withdrawn the nomination of DC prosecutor Ed Martin. Ed is an America First fighter with the grit and skills to take on the Swamp, and that's exactly why the Uniparty was so scared of him.

Now we know why so many Republican senators were stalling. One of our own was secretly working with the Democrats to sink Ed Martin's confirmation.

President Trump just revealed the reason why he's pulling Ed Martin's nomination. Apparently, RINO Senator Thom Tillis was secretly working with Democrats to block the confirmation.

That's not just a stab in the back to President Trump; it's a stab to every American who voted for change.

Comment: It's widely held that Tillis is mixed up in Jan 6, as well as various other corrupt activities. Ed Martin was sure to uncover those facts and would have no qualms about charging anyone and everyone involved. Tillis seems to have thought he was in the clear by sinking Martin's appointment as D.C. AG.

Sooooo, then this happened

The 'weaponization' investigation is sure to include the insane penalties imposed on Jan 6 protesters. Different title, same goal.

Oh, and this happened too:

Whoopsies . . . . . be careful what you wish for.
