It's regime change, but not quite as we know it. With the democratically-elected leader of Venezuela taken to the USA 'to answer for his crimes', Trump has dropped all pretense and admitted that he wants the US to 'run Venezuela' because he wants American oil companies to return in a big way and supplant all Iranian, Russian and Chinese interests there.
It remains to be seen how exactly the Americans will manage Venezuela 'at-a-distance', but in the meantime it looks like a backroom deal was cut such that the Venezuelan military stood down and let American soldiers conduct their raid. The ramifications for Venezuela, as well as the larger geopolitical ramifications, are potentially huge.

Difficult to perceive them sitting by as the the Empire of robber barrens steals it.
I don't think there is any valid "excuse" for kidnapping the leader of a sovereign country - but with it being as blatantly done as it was - get ready for more I reckon - in all sorts of ways.
Cause what is good for the goose is good for gander.
And really - if you think about it - it opens the floodgates for ANYBODY to kidnap anybody else for whom they got grievances - International Law, Maritime Law - law in general be damned. Tis the law of the jungle - and that is can of worms.
Glad I ain't in any position of authority - I'm retired - I ain't messing with nobody. But over the years I've noticed when the us of a acts in this sort of "domineering way" - others do likewise on all sorts of scales. And in the long run, this is not good for business. It ain't good for anybody but the billionaires I reckon think it might be for them. Eff em - now they all are targets, so I suspect some of them are soon to be apprehended and maybe they will commence to realizing - being a billionaire nowadays means your life expectancy is LESS. Oh well - law of the jungle is ruthless. Glad I ain't part of it - I want no part of it at all - I disavow this lawless behavior - who needs it. It is not a good thing.

What went down in Lahaina is plumb evil.
The US have always had the hands on Venezuela, until the Bolivarian Socialist government came into power and nationalized the country's resources (something which ANY sovereign nation has the right to do).
The latter is evident by definition - so that is a given.
The former is indicative - and if they went in there and took the fella without much in the way of back and forth bullets - then tis evident - this is a setup.
But - the problem is a precedent has been set - and you know the whole world follows the us of a in this regard - and now that a leader can be taken in a sovereign country - then goodness gracious me if the nearby county authority behaves in a manner unacceptable in my mind, then hells-bells I can apprehend said county authority - and say - "I'm just doing what Trump-team did". You know?
Pandoras box or pandoras container - whatever it is - is has been opened - coupled with the attempt on Putin's life - and frankly makes me happy I ain't in any position of authority - cause if you are - be aware - anybody now has open call to simply TAKE you away if you are offensive.

For the person who got "paid off" - do you realize you have placed your family in jeopardy - and for the neocons and other hegemony believers - do you realize you are placing all of us in jeopardy - but maybe tis just too late for the us of a - after all the harm caused - seems to me tis time to split up.

Putting a replacement for Maduro in office, as one would expect from a proper regime change operation. Nobody in the US cared that Rodrigez, Maduro's successor, immediately attacked Trump verbally.
And, as the icing on the cake, Trump prevented Machado from succeeding Maduro, the European/zionist puppet pushed by the EU, UK and Israel. And quoting the peace nobel price as reason : [Link]
I got an idea - lets name the area around DC - Trump DC - no longer will it be called Washington DC - that is so yesterday!
Then - lets secede from Trump DC! What good has come out of that place - not any I can figure - been going on for decades - lets secede from federal centralized authority - really.
This was a rescue mission.
As an adjacent theory, it is reported that US law enforcement agencies very thoroughly monitored the GSM and IP traffic in and out of Venezuela, for the same reason. And that the months-long siege o Venezuela was to a large extend maintained for this very purpose.
It's all about brics and how we've weaponized finances against the world.
And we did it with paper backed by nothing. So this is just another phase in the war. It's still in the financial war stage only problem is America has no financial leverage anymore. The reserve currency status is disappearing fast. Silver hit another record high today and we can't pay our debts.
So having no financial leverage and only bombs. We are trying to make this go hot and look like someone else's fault. But at the end of the day that's not going to end up happening. We will most likely go hot and it will most likely be easily recorded as our fault.
and at that point God help us all. There is definitely enough crazy people here and crazy elites who don't know how to live without. That I have no doubt, we would definitely go nuclear first. Not on the massive scale. Just to see how much we can get away with it until we can't.
