COVID Shot

Donald Trump just got his latest "COVID" shot. This indicates he still believes that these shots are vaccines - which is not far-removed from believing in Yogic Flying. (Just believe hard enough and you'll fly!)

It'd be funny were it not for what it implies about Trump's views regarding these drugs, which he has steadfastly refused to repudiate and implicitly endorses by taking them (assuming he actually did take them; it's possible it's all for show). If the president takes these drugs, then what does the president think about those who prefer not to?

Probably that they're "losers" and "stupid."

His defenders - some of them - say he never actually forced these drugs on anyone; that he merely facilitated the Warp Speeding of them and deserves credit for that because (so these some say) the availability of these drugs ended the "pandemic." More finely, they claim the availability of the drugs ended the lockdowns and the endless (so it seemed at the time) attempt to force the Face Diapering forever of the entire population. The drugs made it possible to end the Face Diapering and all the rest - so some say. Never mind that it didn't. The Memory Hole is deep. People were being pressured to Diaper long after the drugs came out; including people who had taken the drugs.

It's also a lie that no one was literally forced to take the drugs. One example being people in the military. Some were literally held down and injected; others were arrested and caged. It is also disingenuous to claim that millions of children weren't forced to take the drugs - because children have no say in such things when their under-duress parents take them to the doctor's office to be injected with the drugs that the schools require children to be injected with.

It is also despicable to claim - as some do - that everyone else was free to not take the drugs. Sure, they were free to not take the drugs - at the cost of their jobs. That is free choice of a piece with not handing the schoolyard bully your lunch money. Of course it is admirable to stand up to the bully. But it does not absolve the bully - who is still the bully.

Trump is arguably most responsible for the bullying that took place in the name of "stopping the spread" because he not only did nothing to stop it, he enabled it - via the "emergency" he declared that made it possible for the "great businessman" Albert Bourla of Pfizer and the other drug pushers to leverage the bullying power of the federal government to push their drugs on the entire country in a manner previously inconceivable.

These are all facts - which some Defenders of the Faith will characterize as "TDS." But facts - as John Adams observed a long time ago - are stubborn things. Sooner or later, the facts win out because facts cannot be denied forever.

We now have the fact - according to the news, at any rate - that Trump just took the drugs he helped to push, again. Will he push them on us, again? The question is perhaps better stated as will he allow the pushers of drugs to leverage the bullying power of the government to push drugs onus, again?

Well, why wouldn't he?

He clearly believes these drugs "work" - whatever is meant by that (excepting the conferring of immunity) and for an authoritarian-narcissist what "works" (as he sees it) is what matters. For example, Trump sees tariffs - which are of course taxes by another name - as "working" and so he imposes them. He is a man who rarely hesitates when it comes to imposing things.

Especially when he thinks what he's imposing "works."

He clearly thinks these drugs "work" (and they do, in the sense that they "work" to make a lot of money for Trump's friends, including Bourla).

So why wouldn't he insist we take them, too?

Maybe not this year. But there still three years to go.
